Antonio clenched his fists and slammed them onto the table. What made him even angrier was that Sarah agreed to have the villa title deed transferred to her name.
Previously, she wouldn't even accept a house from him. Why did she agree to the transfer so easily now? It's one thing to crash at one’s place, but how could she accept someone else's house?
The more Antonio thought about it, the angrier he became. He couldn't suppress the fire burning in his eyes. After much contemplation, he drove back home.
He had already fixed the surveillance camera in his study. He had nearly forgotten about it over the past few days amidst his conflict with Sarah.
Meanwhile, Alex had been visiting frequently, spending ample time alone with Ethan in the study to discuss matters unknown to Antonio.
However, Antonio firmly believed that there must be evidence. Sarah would surely believe what he said as long as he could present it to her. The problem did not lie with Alex, but rather his CEO. Alex was obviously Allen's spokesman!
Antonio thought, 'If there were really something wrong with Alex, Sarah wouldn't be oblivious to it. She is a clever person and has known Alex for many years. Sarah would have distanced herself from him long ago if something were truly amiss.
'Therefore, Alex has been secretly scheming with his CEO, trying to undermine my relationship with Sarah and create an opportunity for his CEO to intervene.'
Antonio dashed home, the echoing roar of Century Garden following him as he burst into the study. Hastily, he powered up the computer and checked the surveillance footage from the past few days.
Yet, what he saw left him utterly confounded.
None of the surveillance recordings captured Alex and Ethan entering the room!
How could this be? Antonio vividly recalled seeing them enter on numerous occasions. So why was there no evidence of their presence on the footage?
One wouldn't believe there were no issues.
'Could it be that Sarah knew everything from the beginning and tampered with the surveillance footage? But... Sarah has never seen the CEO of Alex's company before, right? She would never lie about something like this. What's the truth behind this surveillance footage…'
Antonio sat in front of the computer for what felt like an eternity, yet he couldn't unravel the mystery. He pondered over why Sarah had agreed to take over Allen's villa and who could have tampered with the surveillance footage.
The thought of Sarah having a connection with Allen was unfathomable to him.
However, unresolved questions gnawed at his mind, persisting like thorns in his heart, tormenting him until clarity was achieved.
Antonio bit his lip, checked the information sheet beside him, and examined the villa's location more closely.
After much contemplation, he decided to pick up the car keys. He wanted to see with his own eyes who else was living in that villa besides Sarah and the children.
These things couldn't be mere coincidences—Sarah must have known about the inhabitable villa long ago.
And Allen couldn't have been offering his hospitality for no reason.
Moreover, the transfer must require the owner's presence, so he must be in that villa right now.

Antonio navigated to the villa using his car's GPS and parked in front. He clenched his fists as he gazed at the house, twice the size of their current residence.
Although Antonio could move Sarah and his children into his other villa, which was much larger than the house they were currently residing in, he couldn't bear to part with their current home. It held sentimental value as their matrimonial property.
As there was too much sentimental value, how could he simply let go?
Antonio steadied himself and approached the door.
Harper eagerly ran to open it, and her excitement soared upon seeing Antonio.
"Daddy! You finally came to see us!" Harper was overjoyed to see Antonio. She had thought that he had abandoned them.
Antonio ruffled Harper's hair and carried her inside.
Sarah was still in the backyard and only came over when she heard the commotion up front.
Her face instantly turned pale upon seeing Antonio.
"How did you find your way here?" Sarah asked.
Antonio ignored Sarah and didn't reply. Instead, he cradled Harper in his arms and methodically made his way through each room, opening every door in search of clues. His intent was clear: to scour the rooms for any sign of a male presence.
But beyond this task lay a deeper motive—to unveil the true identity of Allen, the mastermind who had deftly manipulated him. Allen had clandestinely inserted himself into Antonio's life, slowly driving a wedge between him and Sarah with the ultimate aim of stealing her away.
From their collaborative efforts at the company to Sarah's current situation, Allen had continually pushed boundaries, manipulating circumstances to his advantage.
