Chapter 934 What Else Does He Want to Do!

"Really?"

Ryan's eyes lit up with gratitude as he grabbed his hand. "If that's the case, Mr. Morrison, you're my hero!"

Bob couldn't help but chuckle. "Let's get going. I've got the car ready. If we hang around here any longer, they'll notice."

"Alright!"

The prison where Lisa was held was a forty-minute drive out of town.

As they got closer, Ryan's face visibly tensed. This was the first time he would see her true self.

He thought about Elara's previous kindness and felt a whirlwind of emotions. She had gone to such lengths to deceive him. How could she be so bad?

And he hadn't noticed a thing. How could he have been so clueless?

Bob noticed Ryan was lost in thought and didn't disturb him. When they arrived, he gently reminded him, "Ryan, we're here."

"Yeah, let's go in!"

Ryan clenched his little fists and opened the car door himself.

This would be the last time he saw Lisa. After this, she would no longer be a part of his life. His mom was Sarah, and only Sarah.

Bob handled the visitation paperwork, and soon they were face-to-face with Lisa.

She wore a baggy prison uniform and looked even more frail and pitiful than before.

No one would have guessed that such a face could hide such a cold, malicious heart.

Ryan stared at her for a long time, feeling like he was looking at a stranger.

"Ryan..."

Lisa ignored Bob standing behind and focused entirely on the child. "My child... Thank you for coming to see me. Mommy really misses you."

Ryan was her last hope. If she could make him believe her, he might plead with Antonio on her behalf, giving her a slim chance of survival.

Ryan nervously clenched his small hands, frowning at her words.

"You're not my mommy... My mommy is Sarah."

He bit his lip. "I came today to tell you not to look for me anymore. I can't help you... And Dad won't forgive you just because I ask him to. You did so many bad things..."

Lisa would face the law's punishment!

"What right does he have to forgive or not forgive me?"

Lisa's eyes flicked to Bob as she spoke, tears welling up to mask the glint in her eyes. "I ended up like this because of him! He was supposed to marry me. He promised he would never leave me. He said he would divorce Sarah, and I waited for him for so long! But what happened? He lied to me and hurt Sarah... Yet he still gets to be with her. Why do I suffer the same pain, but only they get to be happy?"

She lied without a hint of shame, her performance so convincing she almost believed it herself.

Sure enough, both Ryan and Bob were wide-eyed.

None of them had ever known any of this—least of all Bob, who was seething with fury.

He knew Sarah's marriage had been rocky, but he hadn't known about this!

So Antonio had betrayed Sarah for such a vile woman?

How could he still deserve Sarah's pure love?

How could he let Sarah sacrifice so much for him?

Bob thought of Sarah in the hospital, hiding her pain from Antonio, and his heart ached to the point of madness.

The woman he cherished so much had given a kidney to a man who didn't deserve her.

Lisa saw Bob's clenched fists and cried even more convincingly.

"Ryan... Please, have pity on Mommy. I know I messed up... I never meant to hurt anyone. I just wanted Antonio to give me an explanation."

Ryan's fingers twisted faster. After a long pause, he spoke with a firm voice, "And why did you pretend to be Elara to deceive me? Was that also to get an explanation from Dad?"

He wouldn't be fooled by her again!

Lisa hadn't expected that question and stammered, "I... Mommy had her reasons. I just wanted to give you a complete family!"

She quickly found a more perfect excuse.

"Yes, Mommy didn't want you to feel like an outsider. Mommy..."

"Enough!" Ryan's eyes filled with tears. "Stop it. I won't believe you. I won't plead for you... You have to pay for what you've done. Don't look for me again!"

He had his answer.

It was all lies!

This so-called mommy had never truly cared for him. She just wanted to use him.

Ryan wiped his tears and turned to Bob. "Mr. Morrison, let's go!"

Lisa panicked and stood up, calling out urgently, "Ryan!"

If it weren't for the guards, she would have rushed out.

If she lost this child, what would she do?

She would be finished!

"Child... I'm your mommy! How can you abandon me? That's ungrateful!"

Ryan didn't even look back, standing tall and firm in his resolve.

But Bob...

His mind was racing with Lisa's words, his gaze cold and piercing. "Is what you said true? Did Antonio really have a relationship with you?"

Lisa, on the verge of collapse, laughed coldly. "Ask him yourself, and you'll know."

This man was an idiot. Maybe he could really turn Antonio and Sarah's lives upside down. Let them fight! She hoped they would end up as miserable as she was!

Lisa started laughing.

"If I can't live, you all should die! Die!"

Ryan shivered, hearing the guards drag her away. He finally mustered the courage to look back.

The woman, full of malice and hatred, had never truly repented...

"Mr. Morrison." Ryan held his hand tightly, fighting back tears. "Let's go... Brian and the others will worry if they can't find me."

And Dad and Mommy...

He suddenly missed them so much.

Bob nodded in agreement, leading him out. But his eyes were dark, like a deep, endless abyss.

Lisa wasn't afraid of him asking Antonio, so she must have been telling the truth.

If he had known earlier, he would never have let Sarah stay with such a man!

He hadn't known Sarah long, but he had never seen her truly happy, always caught in endless pain and trouble!

Antonio couldn't protect her!

She must have been blinded by that man!

Bob made a swift decision. He wouldn't give up. He had to take the woman he loved away from that jerk!

As they left the prison, Bob couldn't wait to call Sarah. He told Ryan to get in the car first. "Ryan, I have something to handle. Wait in the car for a bit."

The phone rang just as Sarah entered the bathroom.

Antonio, sitting on the couch, glanced at the ringing phone. When he saw Bob's ID appear on the screen, his gaze grew icy.

Why was this man calling?

His anger flared as he recalled the brooch Sarah still kept.

Antonio took a deep breath, looked towards the bathroom, and answered the call. "Bob."
