Antonio glared at her fiercely, clearly not willing to let go easily.
Sarah quickly grabbed his hand and shook her head, signaling him not to say anything else. Antonio, seeing Sarah's gesture, frowned with some displeasure but did not continue speaking.

"You can go out first."

Being asked by her colleagues like this only made Lily feel even more irritated and angry.
"Just mind your own business. Why are you asking so many questions!"
She responded in a grumpy tone, her expression not too pleasant. Everyone understood the result was not favorable and awkwardly dispersed.
In the office, Antonio's face quickly darkened. James noticed and quickly made room for the two.
Sarah hugged him when she saw his bad mood.
"I don't want to cause too much trouble just as I've joined the company."
Her comforting explanation didn't improve Antonio's mood but made him even more serious. A hint of darkness gradually appeared in his eyes.
"Why are you so reluctant to publicly acknowledge our relationship..."

He tightly embraced her waist, subconsciously tightening his grip. He didn't ask the second half of what he wanted to say, but his expression became even more gloomy.
Sarah: "I know you care about me, even if others gossip, it doesn't matter to you. But I do care, I care about you too."
Seeing that Antonio was still hesitant, she gently leaned against his broad chest and nestled in his arms with a few traces of affection.
"I feel at ease with you by my side, but I don't want to rely on you for everything. As long as you can accompany me when I need you, that's the greatest happiness for me."
Antonio softened his gaze, concealing the hint of darkness deep within his eyes, and looked at her with warmth.

The two of them cuddled for a while. Antonio noticed the itinerary on the computer screen and spoke up, "I have a business meeting later. Will you accompany me?"
He had a meeting scheduled at three o'clock with Yannick Ford, the owner of a construction company who had a good reputation in the industry.

Sarah nodded in agreement and then went to prepare for their outing. The two of them left the company one after another, garnering the attention of their colleagues.
Antonio drove and quickly arrived at the restaurant where he had arranged to meet Yannick.
From a distance, Sarah saw someone enthusiastically waving to Antonio. "Mr. Valencia, over here!"

Antonio slightly frowned and tactfully intercepted Yannick's gaze.
Seeing Antonio's reaction, Sarah hurriedly stepped forward and extended her hand. "Hello, I'm Sarah Miller, Mr. Valencia's secretary. I just took up the position, so you may not recognize me."
"Hello, Miss Miller." Yannick greeted her with a gentle smile, shaking her hand briefly before his gaze moved away.
The group entered the restaurant, and Antonio and Yannick discussed business while eating. Sarah stayed by their side the whole time, occasionally chiming in with agreement.
Somehow, Sarah always felt a gaze flickering on her, sometimes there, sometimes not. But every time she looked towards Yannick, he seemed to be in conversation with Antonio.
"I need to take a call outside." Antonio suddenly received a company phone call. Before leaving, he reassured Sarah with a pat on her shoulder, indicating that he would be back soon.
As soon as he left, Sarah felt the atmosphere become strange.
Yannick, who had hardly spoken to her before, suddenly changed seats and sat next to her. "Miss Miller, being Mr. Valencia's secretary must be tough."
He had an expression of utmost concern, his gaze lingering on her fair skin around her neck, occasionally sweeping up and down.
Sarah felt uncomfortable under his gaze, but she forced a smile and quietly covered her chest with her hand. "You're joking, Mr. Ford. It's my honor to work under Mr. Valencia."
"Oh, no, that's not what I meant. Everyone knows Mr. Valencia is the king of business. Working under him must be quite challenging." Yannick looked at her with great empathy, his hand naturally coming to cover hers, gently caressing it in a comforting way.
Sarah felt a discomfort in her stomach, but thinking about their cooperation, she forced herself to endure and calmly withdrew her hand. "It's fine. One must endure hardships to improve their capabilities."
"Miss Miller, you're a girl after all. How can you compete with men like that? Let me be frank with you. Why not follow me in the future? Whatever Antonio is paying you, I'll give you ten times that amount. I'll fulfill all your desires for bags, jewelry, and clothes. Isn't that better than being under Antoine's control?"
