Chapter 872 Everyone Saw It

As soon as this question was asked, Lisa, who had her head down, shivered all over. "There are... there are mice inside. I don't know how it suddenly ran into the bathroom, I..."

Before she could finish her sentence, the towel wrapped around her body suddenly fell off, and her sexy figure burst into a strong visual impact under the light coming in from the window.

Both of them were stunned, and the air seemed to freeze.

Francis was the first to come to his senses, turned his head to the side, and said in a deep voice, "Go inside, put on your clothes, and then come out to talk!"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Valencia!"

Seeing the veins on Francis's forehead twitching with restraint, her eyes flickered, and she choked back her tears as she returned to the room.

As the door closed, the expression on her face immediately disappeared.

Lisa curled her lips slightly, wiped the tears from her face, and then leisurely took out clothes from the closet to change.

When she came out after changing her clothes, Francis was nowhere to be seen.

It didn't matter. Achieving the goal required an initial investment.

People's emotions were like a calm lake. As long as everything was peaceful, it was clear and serene. But just one reason or event could disturb that calm, and deep down, no one cared about what that reason was anymore.

Just like that mouse that didn't even exist.

In the evening, Sarah and Antonio had already called to say they would stay at the hospital with Cynthia, so tonight's dinner would only include Francis and the four kids.

Lisa and Jasmine brought the dishes to the table. When she saw Francis at the dining table, she paused, and that strange magnetic field inexplicably spread.

Ryan noticed that Lisa's head seemed lower than usual.

As he got closer, he exclaimed, "Elara, why is your face red?"

Lisa instinctively glanced sideways, just in time to meet Francis's gaze. In that instant, it felt like invisible sparks exploded in the air.

At least, that was how she felt.

She hastily left a "It's nothing" and turned to run away.

Francis frowned, watching her leave, and let out a sigh of relief.

To be honest, he didn't expect what happened this afternoon.

Although he only caught a glimpse and didn't see much.

But it was still inevitably awkward, especially with Elara's current reaction, making it even more awkward.

He hoped she would forget about it soon.

Ryan gave Francis a curious look, then looked in the direction Elara had left. Why did it feel like something had happened between them?

This strange feeling persisted for a few days. The observant Ryan discovered something significant: Francis and Elara were avoiding each other.

Even when they occasionally made eye contact, they would immediately look away as if electrocuted!

This was very unusual!

When he used to watch TV shows with Harper, the male and female leads acted just like this!

The more Ryan thought about it, the more he felt his guess was correct. Taking advantage of the weekend, he gathered Brian, Ethan, and Harper in the playroom. After explaining these suspicions, he added, "And do you remember? A few days ago at dinner, Elara clearly blushed while looking at my dad!"

Ethan and Harper exchanged a glance, rubbing their chins. "So, Francis and Elara really have something going on?"

Ryan immediately said, "Definitely something going on!"

Harper, seeing his excitement, asked in confusion, "Ryan, why do you seem so happy? Do you really want Elara and Francis to be together?"

Brian chuckled, "Ryan looks like he's eager to call Elara 'Mom'."

Ryan was taken aback and smiled sheepishly. "Is it that obvious?"

He didn't know why, but he felt a strange fondness and dependence on Elara, wanting to stay by her side and give her everything he had.

Could it be because Elara made him feel motherly love?

Harper nodded, pouting, "Very obvious. Ever since Elara came, Ryan hasn't played with us much. The first thing he does every day when he comes back is to find Elara."

Although Lisa was great, they never clung to Sarah like this. And Ryan wasn't a clingy person. It was very strange.

Ethan secretly gave Harper a look and said with a smile, "Doesn't that mean Elara is good?"

"Yes, Elara is really good." Ryan said seriously, "If she becomes my mom, I would definitely be willing."

Even though he didn't know why, he just felt that Elara had to stay by his side, and only she was the most suitable to be his mom.

Ethan and Harper didn't have any special feelings towards Elara, and Brian was even less familiar with her. But since Ryan had said so, they would definitely help.

"Alright!" Ethan clapped his hands, "In that case, let's help them get together!"

Harper put away her doubts, pulled Ryan, and blinked, "Since they are too shy, let's think of a way to help them get closer!"

Brian wasn't interested in such matters and didn't join in, but the other three kids were always very proactive.

While the adults thought they were being quiet and well-behaved, Ethan had already sneaked into the master bedroom, taken a small square bag from the drawer, and returned to the playroom.

Harper curiously leaned over, "Ethan, what's this?"

"I don't know either." Ethan muttered softly, then said seriously, "But I saw that in TV shows, boys and girls in love always prepare such things. I guessed there would be some in Dad and Mom's room, and I found it!"

Hearing this, Harper's eyes lit up and she turned to ask Ryan, who was writing furiously. "Ryan, are you done writing?"

They had found a love letter online, and Ryan, with his beautiful handwriting, wrote a confession to Francis in Elara's tone, along with the gift.

If Francis had feelings for Elara, he wouldn't be indifferent!

Ryan carefully blew on the paper, "It's done."

"Here!" Ethan immediately handed over the item, "Put this and the love letter in your dad 's room, and the task will be complete!"

Five minutes later, Ryan sneaked into Francis's bedroom, placed the prepared items in his briefcase, carefully zipped it up, and gave an OK gesture to the two little heads peeking out from the stairs.

Francis was naturally unaware of this.

The next morning, he took his briefcase to the office. There was an important staff meeting that morning, and as the project vice president, he needed to personally host the meeting.

In the meeting, Isabella sat in the middle.

She watched Francis speak eloquently from the front, his professionalism and sharpness in the business world making him shine.

"Now, let me explain the overall concept of this project." After Francis finished speaking, he gestured, and his assistant picked up the briefcase in front of him.

Inside was a stack of documents. The assistant grabbed them all and pulled them out.

A folded paper and a small red square bag fell out, landing right in the center of the conference table, clearly visible to everyone in the meeting room.
