Chapter 920 Exposing His True Colors!

Lisa hid in the shadows, quietly observing for several days. She saw Antonio's frailty and felt both heartache and helplessness. She hated that she didn't have a legitimate reason to appear in front of Antonio and take care of him!

'Where the hell does that bitch Sarah go? I heard they were in a car accident together. Could Sarah be seriously injured too? Or maybe she's dead?' Just as she was thinking this, the figure she deeply resented appeared in her sight not far away.

Sarah stood in front of the ward, preening in front of a mirror.

'Fuck, it looks like Sarah is doing just fine! Antonio is already in such a state! Why is Sarah completely unscathed? And to top it off, Sarah hasn't even visited Antonio once in all these days, and now she has the nerve to show up?' Thinking of this, Lisa's heart filled with hatred and resentment. Unconsciously, she clenched her hands as if she wanted to crush something.

She had been hiding around the corner, but her body unconsciously took two steps forward.

Suddenly, a forceful collision made her take a step back.

"Are you blind? Can't you watch where you're going?" The harsh tone snapped Lisa back to reality.

She looked up, "Sorry..."

Seeing it was Saul, Lisa swallowed her apology and sneered, "You clearly bumped into me. Who's the blind one here?"

Saul was already in a foul mood, and her words made him even angrier!

If it weren't for the fact that they were right outside Antonio's ward, he would have kicked her away! "Get out of the way! Don't block the path!"

Saul gave her another hard shove, pushing her anger to its peak. She wanted to chase after him and grab him, but now wasn't the right time. She gritted her teeth and said, "Just you wait!"

She had long been fed up with Saul, who took advantage of his youth, clung to Antonio, clearly up to no good.

Lisa watched his departing figure and cursed him silently. No one knew better than her what that look of resentment in Saul's eyes meant!

She had to find a way to expose Saul's true colors!

Lisa turned her gaze back to the ward. After Sarah went in, Saul was kicked out. It was obvious what the two inside were up to.

She took a deep breath and turned around.

Since they were staying at the hospital for now, she had to stay too!

The best way was to find a job at the hospital.

But this wasn't Capital City.

And with Lisa's new identity as an uneducated rural woman, she could only do menial labor.

After humbling herself for a long time, she could only get a job as a janitor at the hospital.

But she didn't care about that now.

As long as she could stay, anything would do!

"Elara, go clean that restroom!"

"And the stuff in the first-floor storage room, you can practice with that today!"

"There's also a batch of medical waste on the second floor. Thanks for your hard work."

Lisa remained silent.

She looked at the group of janitors sitting on the stairs, each giving her orders. They were clearly old employees, taking advantage of her as a newcomer.

"I can't do all that," Lisa said.

It wasn't possible to do all the dirty work on her first day. How would she survive in the future?

The burly female janitor sitting at the bottom, with graying hair, threw a broom at her feet and said coldly, "Since you know we're old employees, what's wrong with a young person like you doing more work? Respecting the elderly is a good deed, understand, Elara?"

Lisa remained silent.

Another woman, munching on nuts, said, "Yeah, if you can't handle it, quit! This hospital is the best around here. Even janitor jobs are in high demand. If you can't do it, I'll tell them to let you go."

Lisa lowered her head, gritting her teeth, gripping the broom tightly.

She held back her anger, barely resisting the urge to smash the broom over these old women, and said in a low voice, "Fine, I'll do it."

Lisa spent two days adapting to this harassment, enduring unprecedented hardships, and taking on all the dirty work.

During her lunch break, she avoided the old janitors and went alone to the VIP floor with a towel.

Based on her previous observations, Saul stayed in ward 801 and visited Antonio's ward at the same time every afternoon.

After enduring so much, Lisa decided that today, she would make Antonio see Saul's true colors!

She couldn't get rid of Sarah for now, but she could easily drive Saul away from Antonio!

She pulled up her mask to cover most of her face.

Pushing the door open, she saw Saul eating a meal delivered by Antonio's assistant.

He glanced up at the sound of the door opening, saw it was a janitor, and continued eating.

Lisa started by wiping the bedside table, slowly moving towards the dining table, and wiping the chair, and the windowsill. She pretended to adjust the curtains, and the towel in her hand "accidentally" flew out, landing on Saul's arm.

He froze, staring incredulously at the dirty towel.

Two seconds later, he shouted angrily, "What are you doing?"

"I'm sorry, really sorry!" Lisa quickly apologized, her attitude humble and her expression submissive. "I just wanted to adjust the curtains. Please calm down."

Saul snorted, glaring at her, "Get this dirty thing out of here!"

"Yes, please wash your hands! It's all my fault!" Lisa quickly retrieved the towel.

Watching Saul head to the restroom, she swiftly pulled a packet of powder from her pocket and emptied it into the water cup on the table. As the powder dissolved, a smile crept under her mask.

'Poor people will always be poor. Saul, Do you really think you can become part of the upper class just because Antonio took care of you for a few days? Too bad, everything you have will end today!' Lisa thought.

Saul came out of the restroom, intending to scold her again, but Lisa was gone. He grumbled, "What a mess! Really ruins my appetite!"

After the interruption, he lost his appetite and drank the water in one gulp.

Saul checked his watch. Antonio should be waking up soon.

Thinking of this, his irritation seemed to dissipate a bit, and he left the room in a better mood.

But neither he nor Lisa knew that Antonio wasn't in his ward at that moment. Only Sarah was there, sitting by the window reading a book, occasionally checking her phone.

Saul knocked and entered, closing the door behind him, then froze. "Mrs. Valencia."
