Chapter 349 Are you divorcing Mr. Valencia?
Although she knew Brian was very intelligent and capable of earning money, being the CEO of a multinational corporation seemed like a far stretch.
As Brian looked at Sarah's shocked expression, he couldn't help but sigh. He had revealed himself too early, and Sarah wasn't able to accept it so suddenly.
He immediately held her hand and blinked his big eyes, trying to snap Sarah out of her daze.
Harper approached and hugged Sarah, rubbing her face against Sarah's with a soft smile. "Mommy, please don't be angry. We know we did wrong."
Sarah snapped back to reality, and her gaze shifted from shocked to guilty as she looked at Brian. It was all her fault for not working hard enough. If she had been more capable, Brian wouldn't have shouldered such a heavy burden at such a young age.
"Mommy, what's wrong with you? Are you worried about me? Mommy, please don't be like this. If I'm just sitting around at home, isn’t it a good idea to earn money to buy things for you?" Brian quickly reassured upon noticing Sarah's mood.
Although he said that, Sarah couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off with Brian's young face. How could a child just found a multinational company without any financial capital or backing?
"Don't worry about Brian, Mommy. Brian is really amazing," Harper said as she jumped into Sarah's arms, being all cute.
Sarah lightly tapped Harper's head with her finger. Her heart felt both sour and proud as she looked at the kids. "But you guys have to promise Mommy that you won't do such things again."
"Don't worry, Mommy," Brian replied. Since they had already been discovered, they did not needthere was no need for them to keep hiding the truth.
Of course, except when they were with Antonio.
Sarah could clearly understand Brian's intentions and had also thought about it. She couldn't let Antonio know about this right now.
There was no other way to conceal the truth but to destroy the surveillance footage.
Sarah led the kids to the study but became worried again. It was impossible for the camera not to capture anything after so much time, right?
It clearly seemed suspicious.
Given Antonio's intelligence, he would undoubtedly suspect deliberate tampering with the surveillance footage. If he had installed additional cameras without Sarah's awareness, their deception would inevitably be uncovered.
Brian had already come up with a plan. "Mommy, leave it to me."
For a tech prodigy like Brian, manipulating a computer’s data and system was like child’s play to him. He could do whatever he wanted with it.
Brian sat in front of the computer and tinkered with it for a while. The surveillance footage that originally captured Brian and Alex now showed an empty study room.
Once Sarah knew that Brian had this ability, she immediately felt relieved.
After spending some quality time with the kids, Sarah glanced at the time and realized she needed to hurry to the hospital.
The people over at the hospital said Kevin insisted on having lunch with his daughter, and it was almost time. She couldn't let the patient go hungry.
"Listen up, all four of you. Mommy is going out now and won't be back until tonight. You must behave while staying at home. No more pranks." This implied that Sarah didn't want Brian to play tricks anymore.
Brian nodded. "Don't worry, Mommy. I promise not to leave the house until you come back."
"And you shouldn't go hungry either. Don't keep hiding in the closet. Even if Antonio comes back, he won't burst into your room like I do. Don't make yourself sick." Sarah rubbed Brian's head.
After receiving the kids' repeated assurances, Sarah left with peace of mind.
…
Sarah bought some food that Kevinloved to eat on her way to the hospital.
As soon as she entered the ward, she shook the bag in her hand, "Look at what delicious things I've brought you."
When Kevin saw Sarah, his eyes lit up. "My sweetheart daughter, you finally came back. Where have you been these days? Dad couldn't reach you."
Kevin held Sarah's hand; his face appeared to be full of heartache.
"I went on a business trip.there’s no need to worry about me."
"Hmm, no need to worry about you? Did you cry?" Kevin reached out and wiped the corner of Sarah's eye, and then his expression froze.
"Your temperature is a bit high. Are you running a fever? Why are you sick? Dad will take you to the hospital." Kevin was about to get out of bed.
Sarah's heart warmed. Kevin had cared for her ever since he saw her for the first time, and his eyes were always full of concern.
Thinking about how Victor looked in the morning, Sarah couldn't help but feel bitter.
Victor was her biological father, whom she had worked so hard to find. However, to him, her only sole purpose was to give him money.
On the other hand, Kevin treated her like his own daughter in every way.
Sarah couldn't help but envy Serene, being fortunate enough to have such a good father.
"Dad, I'm fine. It's just that I was under the sun for too long, so I feel a bit warm. I'll be fine in a bit." Sarah patted Kevin's hand. "Shall we eat first?"
"Are you really not sick? If you're sick, we should go to the hospital right away. We shouldn't delay."
Sarah nodded. "It was the hospital calling me. They said you were insisting on meeting me, so I came over."
She seemed to catch a glimpse of jealousy in Serene's eyes earlier but wasn't sure if it was just her imagination.
Serene forced a smile. Now, even most of the hospital's doctors and nurses believed that Sarah was Kevin's biological daughter.
It seemed like she had to act quickly to clear the misunderstanding!
Unexpectedly, a group of journalists barged into the ward at that moment. When they saw Sarah, they all rushed towards her.
"Ms. Miller, may I ask if you are divorcing Mr. Valencia?"
