Chapter 896 Sudden Premature Birth!
He never would have thought that Francis, who always had such a good attitude, would commit suicide!
Even when Francis had suffered such severe injuries to his legs, he never thought of suicide!
Francis was fine just yesterday.
But as soon as Guadalupe came looking for him, he jumped off a cliff!
Guadalupe's Adam's apple bobbed up and down, his murderous gaze still fixed on Sarah. He stubbornly believed that Sarah was the root of all evil! She was still entangled with Francis!
Antonio couldn't bear it any longer and punched him in the face. "Speak! Have you gone mute?"
The atmosphere seemed to reverse suddenly. Antonio's presence was so overwhelming that it radiated pressure, making Guadalupe stay silent and the bodyguards beside him not dare to act rashly.
Guadalupe was punched back a few steps and hadn't had time to retaliate before a series of punches came at him again.
"Hurting Francis!"
"Threatening Francis!"
"And you still dare to blame everything on Sarah! You coward! Scum!"
"Let me tell you, the person Francis hated, despised, and was most disgusted by was you! He would rather die than stay near you! Guadalupe, you are the one who killed him! You'll go to hell after you die, while Francis will go to heaven! Don't even think about seeing him again!"
With every sentence, Antonio punched him.
He used almost all his strength, and soon Guadalupe's face was injured, showing a kind of bleak desolation.
It seemed as if Antonio's last words had hurt him deeply.
He lifted his head, his eyes full of gloom. "Francis will be fine."
His voice was hoarse and firm, yet carried a hint of madness.
Guadalupe still stared at Sarah, his eyes burning with a destructive force, as if he wanted to burn her to ashes.
Sarah found it laughable. "Yes, Guadalupe, you never admit your own mistakes and always push the blame onto others, don't you? You're truly pathetic!"
Guadalupe roared, "Am I wrong? If it weren't for you, that bitch, why would he come to this place?"
Francis had long been used to staying by his side. Even if Francis said a few unpleasant things, it was just him throwing a tantrum!
Antonio's jaw trembled. He stood up and kicked him to the ground, his gaze sharp. "Watch your mouth!"
He used to give him some respect for Francis's sake.
Now it seemed that Guadalupe was just a madman!
Guadalupe fell hard to the ground, covered in dirt and looking utterly disheveled. The pain in his eyes was hidden under his hair, and he stared blankly as if he had lost his soul.
His mind was filled with the image of Francis jumping off the cliff, replaying his words, "Goodbye forever."
'Does he really hate me? No. But why does Francis keep running away?' Guadalupe thought.
The assistant hurried to help him up, but he remained motionless, half-kneeling on the ground, lost in thought.
Seeing him like this, Antonio let out a cold laugh. He turned and put Sarah in the car before walking towards another car.
The bodyguards wanted to stop him but were intimidated by Antonio's terrifying aura and couldn't move.
Antonio didn't spare them a glance. He put Ryan in the car and drove away.
"Sarah, hang in there! I'll get you to the hospital right away!"
Sarah was in unbearable pain, sweat streaming down her face. "Antonio."
It hurt so much!
"I'm here!" Antonio comforted her softly, occasionally glancing at her with furrowed brows, driving faster and faster. "Sarah, we'll be there soon. Everything will be fine, just hold on!"
Sarah endured the excruciating pain, her thoughts scattered.
But thinking of Antonio's sad expression earlier, she tried to stay awake and comforted him, "Don't worry, Francis will be fine."
Antonio kept worrying about Francis, and hearing her mention Francis made him even more upset.
"Okay."
Francis fell from such a high cliff; how could he be fine?
But now Sarah's condition was urgent, and he could only get her to the hospital first.
"Sarah, don't talk for now. It looks like you're really about to give birth. Save your strength."
Sarah shook her head. "Talking to you helps distract me. Antonio, I'm not lying to you. Francis might really be fine. Don't worry too much."
Antonio glanced at her, his eyes clouded with worry. "Why are you so sure?"
"This is Francis's plan." Sarah adjusted her position, half-lying on the seat to make her belly more comfortable, and continued, "Francis came to Northwest Ridge to fake his death and escape Guadalupe's control."
"He might have moved the plan up." Sarah then told Antonio what Francis had said before.
Antonio was stunned for a long time, not expecting things to be this way.
But overall, it was good news.
He let out a heavy sigh of relief and couldn't help but lean over to kiss her on the cheek. "Sarah, having you is my greatest fortune."
"I thought you would blame me for keeping it from you."
Antonio hugged her tenderly. "You and Francis both have your difficulties. I understand. Sarah, you're my wife. I'll never blame you."
Sarah was deeply moved. She kissed Antonio back, but the pain in her lower abdomen became more intense, and unbearable. She groaned in pain, "I... I can't take it anymore. Driver, go faster!"
Antonio's heart was about to jump out.
This was his first time accompanying Sarah to give birth!
"Sarah, hold on a little longer!"
Half an hour later, they finally arrived at the nearest hospital.
He opened the car door and urgently called out to a nearby nurse, "Nurse! Please help! There's a pregnant woman here!"
The nurse quickly notified the doctor and called for colleagues to help.
Sarah was already exhausted. As she was placed on the stretcher, she still pushed Antonio and said breathlessly, "You... go check on Ryan, have the doctor... examine him."
"Sarah, stop talking!" Antonio's heart pounded like a drum, almost hurting too much to breathe.
He kissed her hand and whispered, "I'll take care of him. You have to be strong. You can do this."
A nurse carrying Ryan came over and kindly said, "Sir, I'll take the child for a check-up. You can come over after you take your wife to the delivery room."
"Okay, thank you."
Everyone moved quickly, the atmosphere extremely tense.
Antonio had never experienced such a scene. He felt his limbs go numb, only able to follow the nurse's steps and comfort Sarah. "Sarah, you'll be fine. If it hurts, bite me, okay? How can I make it not hurt? Let's not have any more kids, okay? No more after this."
If he had known giving birth was so painful, he wouldn't have wanted Sarah to go through this even once.
Antonio was both excited and heartbroken. Sarah was the woman he cherished, and she was almost risking her life to bear his children. How could he not love her?
