Chapter 890 Tie Ryan Up

"Mrs. Valencia, when do you think you'll be back?" Lisa asked.

Sarah gave her a strange look, "Not sure yet. Do you need something?"

"No... nothing. I'm just worried the kids will miss you."

"It shouldn't be too long. Please take care of things at home with the help of the staff."

"Okay, Mrs. Valencia."

She would definitely take good care of everything!

Suddenly, a light bulb went off in Lisa's head, and her previously troubled mood brightened up.

Yes, since they were going on a long trip, they wouldn't be back anytime soon. That meant there wouldn't be any capable adults at home, and those kids would be at her mercy.

She quickly found a secluded spot and dialed a number. "Hello... Mr. Diaz, it's me."

"What's up?"

"I wanted to let you know that Sarah and Antonio are going on a trip. Now, the Valencia Family only has two useless people and a few kids left. Should we do something?"

Guadalupe squinted his eyes, not expecting this so suddenly. But it was perfect timing.

"Find a way to get Ryan out," Guadalupe said.

Lisa hesitated for a second and asked, "Mr. Diaz, can it be one of the other Valencia kids?"

Sarah had three kids! And she was pregnant with another one!

"No, it has to be Ryan."

How could the other Valencia kids threaten Francis?

Lisa gritted her teeth and agreed without hesitation, "Okay, I'll handle it. But Mr. Diaz, you won't hurt him, right?"

Guadalupe sneered, "You're willing to be a kidnapper, and you're worried about whether I'll hurt him?"

"I'm not looking to harm him, don't worry," Guadalupe added.

Lisa finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Alright."

After all, Ryan was her son and her future leverage. She certainly didn't want anything bad to happen to him.

The next afternoon, after lunch, Kevin was about to take the kids for a walk, but Ryan shook his head and refused, "You guys go ahead, Grandpa. I haven't finished my painting from yesterday. I want to stay and paint."

As he spoke, his eyes avoided looking at Harper.

Actually, Lisa had promised to paint with him today, but Harper and the others didn't like Lisa, so he didn't tell the truth. He didn't want to miss this chance to spend time with Lisa.

Harper pulled Kevin and Brian along, "If he doesn't want to go, then let's go ourselves, Grandpa! Where are we going? Is it the park where Dad used to play as a kid? I heard from Mommy that there's a lot of fun stuff there!"

She deliberately spoke loudly, hoping Ryan would follow. But he didn't.

He didn't seem interested at all.

Seeing Lisa come out of the kitchen, Ryan smiled eagerly and ran to her, "Elara, can we go paint now?"

"Yes, of course." Lisa's eyes sparkled, "Where are Mr. Jerrett and the others?"

"My grandpa and the others went to the park. They probably won't be back for a while." Ryan mumbled unconsciously and pulled her hand, "Let's go, Elara. I haven't put away my oil paints yet. We can use them today."

"Alright, I'll join you." Lisa let him lead her upstairs, but her mind was constantly calculating.

Now, the entire Valencia Family only had Brady left, but he had gone to rehab in the morning and was now asleep. He'd probably sleep until evening.

So, the entire mansion was just her and Ryan.

It was the perfect time to execute the plan!

To clear herself from this matter, Lisa had to put on a good show today. Otherwise, Antonio wouldn't be so easily fooled.

In Ryan's room, he struggled to move the easel to the window and said, "Elara, stand aside so you don't get paint on you. I'll move it."

The easel was much taller than him, and he struggled to move it.

After moving the easel, Ryan fetched the paints and looked at Lisa with bright eyes. "Elara, here are the paints."

"Alright, start painting." Lisa smiled absentmindedly and pulled a chair to sit down, "Be careful not to get paint on yourself, okay?"

Ryan felt a bit disappointed that she didn't intend to paint with him. But the feeling quickly passed.

As long as he was with Elara, he felt a deep sense of satisfaction and didn't mind such small things.

"Okay, Elara, watch me paint." With that, he began to paint seriously.

After a while, he accidentally got some paint on his clothes and instinctively wiped it with his other hand.

Lisa immediately disapproved, "Ryan, you can't wipe paint on your clothes."

Ryan froze, "I..."

"Mr. Valencia, this is a shirt Mrs. Valencia bought for you a few days ago. Even if you don't like it, you shouldn't use it to wipe paint! You..." Her tone was serious as she quickly grabbed a tissue to try to wipe the paint off his shirt. "Oh no, it won't come off."

Seeing the blue-green paint spreading on his white shirt and hearing her disappointed tone, Ryan was so anxious he was about to cry, "Elara... what should I do?"

Lisa pursed her lips, pretending not to know what to do. "If you do this, Mrs. Valencia will definitely be very upset."

'Would Mom be upset? Yes.' Ryan thought to himself.

Images of past incidents flashed through Ryan's mind—he had done so many things to hurt Sarah and said so many hurtful words. Sarah must be very sad.

But he had never sincerely apologized.

Today, he even messed up the new shirt Sarah bought for him, and Elara said it couldn't be cleaned.

Thinking of Sarah's sad eyes, Ryan felt he was too much. But he didn't want to be like this.

Seeing him lower his head and cry, Lisa quickly patted his small shoulders, pretending to comfort him, "Ryan, I didn't mean to scold you, but what you did was wrong. Mrs. Valencia will be very angry when she sees this."

Ryan choked up, lowering his head even more. "Elara... I didn't mean to. What should I do?"

He trusted Elara from the bottom of his heart and never thought his abnormal behavior had anything to do with her. It seemed like only Elara could help him in this world.

Lisa looked troubled, but her eyes were cold. "Ryan, I don't know what to do either."

"If it were me, I might go for a walk outside. It might clear my mind."

"But you're too young to go out alone. Mr. Francis Valencia isn't here, and I can't help you. When Mrs. Valencia gets angry, even Mr. Antonio Valencia can't do anything."

Hearing her words, Ryan felt even more panicked.

What if Sarah really got angry and didn't want him anymore?

"Mommy..." Ryan muttered.

Why wasn't Francis here? If Francis were here, he could speak up for him and tell him what to do...

The more Ryan thought about it, the more desperate he felt. Finally, he couldn't hold back and ran out crying!
