Chapter 325 Give Me...

Antonio was not a man of petty concerns, but he was one to err on the side of caution.

"As the head of Valencia Inc., your attention should be on the business, Antonio," Sarah implored, her desperation mounting. "I'll only be absent for a day or two for the school anniversary. Can you really afford to neglect the company for that?"

Antonio, however, had begun to weigh his options. "Between the company and you, Sarah, it's clear to me that you are the priority."

Sarah was adamant in her refusal. "What if Victor stirs up trouble again? Without you at the helm, no one else can handle him. You must stay and guard the fort."

Her greatest fear was that Victor, aware of the absence of both her and Antonio from the Valencia family, would seize the opportunity to disrupt the company's harmony. At that point, simply throwing money at the problem would not suffice.

With a sigh, Antonio conceded to the logic in Sarah's argument.

Pulling the car to a stop in front of their home, he leaned over to enfold Sarah, who was seated in the passenger seat.

"Shouldn't I be granted a taste of sweetness as well? What am I to do while you're away for so long?"

"Are you trying to take advantage of me?" Sarah's cheeks flushed a rosy hue.

Antonio seized the moment, pressing himself against Sarah's shoulder. His thin lips drew close to her sensitive ear, whispering, "Sarah, if you want me to agree to let you travel to City N alone, shouldn't you do something to convince me?"

A shiver ran through Sarah's body, and despite her indignant gaze, she couldn't hide the wave of affection in her eyes.

"Sarah..."

Her lips pursed, her cheeks aflame, Sarah hooked a finger under Antonio's chin and slowly leaned in.

At the taste of her lips, Antonio found his restraint crumbling.

Lowering the seat, he pressed his body against hers.

"We're in the car, stop fooling around..."

"Then let's go back to the room, right now."

Just then, a knock sounded on the car door.

"Mommy and Daddy, what are you doing? Why aren't you getting out of the car now that we're home?"

Harper's clear voice echoed from outside the car.

Startled, Antonio jerked his head up, hitting it on the car roof.

"Uh..." Antonio rubbed the back of his head, slowly rolling down the window. "Harper, Daddy is discussing something with Mommy."

"Why do you have to talk about it in the car? Daddy, you even pinned Mommy down. Are you bullying her?" Harper's serious expression was fixed on Antonio.

Sarah couldn't help but laugh, quickly sitting up straight. "Harper, Daddy isn't bullying Mommy."

"Are you sure?" Harper blinked. "But why is Mommy's face so red? Daddy's face is red too. Are you both sick?"

Sarah quickly pushed Antonio away from her.

"I'm not sick, it's just hot. Where's your brother? Have you been hungry for a while?" Sarah deftly changed the subject to avoid further discussion.

Harper nodded, "Yeah, we've been hungry for a while. We were waiting for you two to come back, but you just parked the car here and didn't get out."

"We're getting out now, aren't we? Let's go home." Sarah took her daughter's hand and slowly walked away.

Antonio remained alone in the car, his face etched with regret.

All he wanted was a moment of intimacy with Sarah. Why was it so difficult?

His frustration lingered even through dinner.

"Are you upset?" Ryan, oblivious to the earlier events, asked Antonio tentatively.

"No, just finish your meal and go to bed." Antonio sighed inwardly. His mood had been soured since the incident in the car.

Ryan responded with an "okay" and quickly finished his meal, then he led Harper and Ethan back to their room.

Meanwhile, Brian, who had been hiding, hadn't eaten yet!

On the way back to their room, Harper shared her observations with Ethan.

"Do you think Mom and Dad are really sick? Their faces were so red."

"It's really worrying."

Antonio opened his mouth to explain, but found himself at a loss. In the eyes of their children, if he wasn't sick, what else could it be?

He couldn't very well tell them, "I'm not sick, it's just that..."

Sarah understood his predicament all too well, and couldn't help but laugh at Antonio's tortured expression.

Antonio looked up to see Sarah, naturally beautiful and desirable without makeup. It was difficult to tear his gaze away.

"What are you looking at? Go to bed; there's still much to do."

Sarah tidied up the table and retreated to her room.

To her surprise, Antonio followed her, pinning her against the wall. Without a word, he pressed his body against hers, fiercely kissing her flushed lips.

Sarah was taken aback, "Have you lost your mind? The children are right there. Do you want to get caught again?"

Antonio didn't care about the children now; he had been suppressing his frustration for too long. He felt like he would suffocate if he didn’t release it at that moment.

"Sarah, give me..."
