Chapter 601 Dare to Harass My Wife?
Benjamin closed his eyes for a moment and looked down at Ethan in his arms. The child was sleeping peacefully, with a serene smile on his face, merely mumbling in his sleep.
He took a deep breath, gently pulled his arm out from under the little guy, and got out of bed.
The surroundings and the layout of the room were not much different from his own, except for one thing which was the scent. This room not only had the unique milky scent of a child but also a fragrance similar to the one in Sarah's room, likely brought by that woman.
Could it be that this fragrance made him sleep better than ever last night?
Benjamin quickly dressed, attributing his various reactions to a confused mind, whether it was last night or just now.
He put on his coat, once again looking like a gentleman, and paused at the door, glancing back at the child on the bed with a deep gaze.
Sarah was unaware of all this. She had slept well last night and quickly got herself ready in the morning before heading to Ethan's room. It was Ethan's first night sleeping outside his usual room, and she wondered if he had slept well. Did he kick off the covers?
Entering the room, Sarah naturally pushed open the bedroom door, not knowing that Benjamin had just left the room. Ethan was sleeping near the edge of the bed, his posture adorably sprawled out.
"Ethan, time to get up!" Sarah said as she leaned down and kissed his forehead, her gentle voice filled with motherly love. "The sun is already up, little lazy head."
He turned over and continued to sleep. It seemed he planned to sleep in. Sarah smiled helplessly, covered him with the blanket again, and noticed the humidifier on the cabinet emitting smoke, feeling quite surprised.
Ethan actually knew how to turn on the humidifier; he really was growing up.
She felt a sudden sense of gratification, her gaze becoming softer without realizing it. She took a few steps forward and turned off the humidifier on the table. Then she went downstairs to get Ethan some breakfast.
After ordering breakfast, Sarah glanced at her phone. The others were still quiet, seemingly not up yet. Since that was the case, she decided to take a walk outside first.
This hot spring hotel was located halfway up Pine Mountain, with natural hot springs flowing down from the mountain, filling the area with steam.
The slight sulfur smell was not pungent but rather added a unique charm to the hotel. Many people would come here to relax during their vacations.
Sarah walked slowly along the path, feeling quite emotional. When Pine Mountain was fully developed, according to the planning scheme, more people would surely come. But she wondered if this hotel could be preserved by then.
Just as she thought of this, a teasing male voice came from the side, "Miss, are you here alone to enjoy the hot springs?"
Sarah stopped and turned her head. The man wasn't very tall, with eyes that looked flirtatious and affectionate, wearing an orange shirt with a casual suit over it. His expression was quite seductive.
She raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Sir, can I help you?"
"Of course," the man replied with a self-assured smile, taking two steps forward. "Do you have time? I'd like to date you."
Sarah shivered inwardly and sneered at him, "If there's nothing else, I'll be going."
She didn't want to waste time talking to such a person and was about to leave after rejecting him.
The man directly reached out to block her, and said, "Why the rush? Since we met, it's fate. Why not chat a bit more? You don't need to be shy; I'm very easy to get along with."
Shy? Who's shy? Sarah's face turned cold. She demanded, "Sir, I'm not like you. I'm here for work. You can't afford to waste my time. Please move."
"What could be more important than dating?" The man asked as he remained unmoved, his eyes filled with even more passion. "If you're with me, you won't need to work. I can support you."
Sarah was stunned by his words. Where did this confident man come from, thinking he could support her with his sleazy appearance? She frowned, "Are you moving or not?"
The man touched his chin, smiling smugly, and insisted, "You're exactly my type. Don't be so fierce. How about adding me on Facebook?"
His tone seemed to assume that Sarah would add him on Facebook. He even took out his phone.
Sarah was really at a loss with such a thick-skinned person and couldn't actually hit him.
Before she could figure out what to do, a large hand suddenly reached out from the side, wrapping around her shoulder, with a deep and pleasant voice saying, "If you really want to add someone on Facebook, how about adding me?"
The words were filled with hostility, making one's skin crawl. Both Sarah and the man beside her were stunned, looking incredulously at the suddenly appearing Benjamin. So, he had heard everything just now.
The man's gaze gradually shifted to Benjamin's hand on Sarah's shoulder, then slowly moved up to his handsome face. "And you are?" the man questioned.
"Who I am is not important," Benjamin said, looking down at him. "What's important is that you're harassing my wife, and I'm considering calling the police."
