Chapter 50 Antonio Goes Mad

Antonio's grip tightened, making Sarah wince, but she bit down and took it, turning all that pain into pure hate for him.

Her once-clear eyes were now blazing with anger, staring daggers at Antonio, letting out all the resentment she had bottled up.

"You dare accuse me of faking my death? I wouldn't have crashed that car if it weren't for you!" Sarah's eyes filled with tears as she finally let her emotions spill out.

Who'd wanna hide their identity, run off to some foreign place, and raise kids alone if they weren't forced to?

"I forced you? Sarah, you know what you did. And that accident? That was all you being reckless. Don't you dare blame me!" Antonio was fuming now, letting his words fly. Right then, he felt like searching for her for seven days and nights was the dumbest thing he'd ever done.

Sarah's teeth were grinding hard. The man she once trusted with her life was not only violent but also cold as ice.

"Antonio, marrying you was the biggest screw-up of my life. Sarah died five years ago. God must've thought my death was too tragic and gave me a second chance!"

"A new life?" Antonio echoed, then laughed, cold and mocking. "A new life, a new face? So, to deceive me, not only did you change your face, but you also concealed your birthmark. You really went all out."

Thinking about it, Antonio couldn't keep his anger in check. That day outside the police station, he knew it was her, but she had a new face, and the birthmark was gone, so he had to keep his cool.

He knew he wasn't wrong. Sarah, even if you turned to ashes, I'd still know it's you!

Seeing Antonio reach for her face, Sarah dodged, her eyes full of rejection. "It's none of your business!"

Antonio was pissed just looking at her. Ignoring her resistance, he pinned her against the wall, roughly grabbing her face. But no matter how hard he tried, her face didn't change. He even yanked off her hat to check her hairline, finding nothing.

Antonio's grip got tighter, his voice low and cursing, "Damn it, what did you do to your face!"

Sarah's face turned red from his rough handling. She dodged and kept pushing him away.

"I'm not your wife. You can't treat me this way. Release me, or you'll regret it!"

She had sworn never to see Antonio again. If he hadn't messed with Brady first, she wouldn't have come back and gotten caught by him!

Her words only made Antonio angrier. His dark eyes were burning with rage. His fingers gripped her chin, forcing her to look at him.

"Sarah, no matter how many times you 'die,' you'll always be my wife. You're not getting away again!"

She'd learned to talk tough to him. Antonio wanted to see just how stubborn she really was.

Sarah was so mad at Antonio's overbearing attitude, she felt like she might explode!

"Antonio, even if I die, I won't be under your thumb again. Let go of me, or I'll call the cops!"

To her surprise, Antonio laughed instead of getting mad. "Call the cops? Go ahead, we both know who the real thief is."

Hearing that, Sarah's eyes flickered with panic. Damn, in her rage, she forgot she was here to steal something.

Even though Antonio had set Brady up first, if she got caught and taken to the station, the surveillance tape would be seized as stolen goods. If Antonio then had someone swipe and destroy it, the only proof of Brady's innocence would be gone.

Antonio saw the brief panic in Sarah's eyes, thinking she was scared. His lips curled into a cold smile. "Sarah, you better know who you're messing with before you act."

"Of course, I know!" Sarah cut him off, gritting her teeth. "You're a violent, ruthless, arrogant, shameless bastard!"

Antonio, with all his money and power, did whatever he wanted. He betrayed her, indirectly caused her death, and now helped Lisa and Lusa frame Brady.

His list of crimes was too long to count in three days and nights!

She often dreamt of that hopeless day, pregnant and seeing those scenes, hearing his heartless words over the phone. At the moment of the car crash, besides feeling sorry for her unborn baby, all she had was deep hatred for Antonio.

Hearing those words describing him, Antonio's eyes flickered with fire, but his heart suddenly ached.

The pain and hatred on her face, every word she said, were like invisible knives stabbing into his heart.

He hadn't even accused her of betrayal, yet she painted him as so despicable.

Sarah sensed the coldness radiating from Antonio. Her chin was almost crushed by his grip, and the molten lava in his eyes seemed ready to pour out and burn her to ashes!

He looked like a devil from hell, his thin lips parting, his voice dark and deep. "Say that again."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Antonio threw Sarah onto the nearby sofa.

The sofa was soft, but it still hurt. She felt a lump in her throat, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Antonio's tall figure looming over her.

She quickly raised her hand to block his chest. "What are you doing!"

Antonio grabbed her wrist, pinning her hands above her head. "You're my wife. What do you think I'm doing?"

Hearing this, Sarah was shocked, noticing the different emotions in Antonio's eyes. She started to struggle, kicking him continuously. "Let go of me, you bastard."

Antonio grabbed her waist, his eyes now tinged with a hint of red. He looked down at Sarah beneath him, his voice cold. "I told you, you will always be my wife. Don't think you can escape again."
