Brian acted preemptively, knowing Sarah's temperament, and quickly put on a smile.
Sarah sighed silently. "Go ahead, Mommy won't get angry."
Feeling relieved, Brian smiled while the four children lined up one by one in front of Sarah.
Sarah looked at Brian, wiping the sweat from his forehead with her hand. "Is this how much you miss me?"
Brian pursed his lips, guilty at first, but then he gradually calmed down.
"Mommy, I know I was wrong to hide it from you, but I don't trust 'him'. I need to see it with my own eyes before I can feel at ease."
Sarah was momentarily speechless, knowing that Brian was worried about her.
'Brian has always been sensitive. Although he is not very talkative, his heart is the softest.'
Sarah held back her stern face. "Answer the main question. Tell me honestly, when did you come?"
"I came with Papa Alex."
Brian smiled again.
Sarah couldn't bear to scold them any longer. She already felt indebted and missed Brian greatly while he was abroad. Witnessing this, she had already vented much of her frustration.
'But he cannot afford to neglect his education.'
"Don't fool around here." Sarah pinched Brian's face. "I'm telling all four of you, I'm very angry right now."
Sarah then looked at the remaining three children. "Ryan, you speak first. What were you thinking? Why did you agree to do this?"
Sarah knew that Ethan and Harper would listen to Brian; theys always followed Brian's words and would naturally help conceal things.
However, she never expected Ryan to side with Brian too.
"Sarah... it was Brian who came, and that's it."
Ryan pursed his lips, unsure of what to say. He feared that Brian and the others would resent him and worried that Sarah would be angry if he told her the truth.
Sarah could see through Ryan's thoughts. "Ryan, I am not blaming you. Because you're the oldest among them. I want to hear from you about the situation."
"I'm sorry, Sarah. I shouldn't have lied to you," Ryan apologized with his head down.
"Since Brian came, why did you have to hide it from me? And why did you cause so much unreasonable trouble? What if something really happened to you?
"Ryan, you're the older brother. Did you think it was right to help your younger siblings hide this from me?
"Brian, you too. You made your younger siblings help you hide this. Is this how a big brother should act?
"Ethan, Harper, both of you have gone too far. One kept changing identities back and forth, and the other covered for them. Mommy told you to be united. Is this how you show unity?"
Sarah scolded each kid in turn. The children were remorseful about their actions and began apologizing to Sarah one after another.
"We're sorry, Mommy! We were wrong."
"Please forgive us. We won't dare again."

'The person who had been locked in the study with Alex for a long time should have been Brian. So, what were Brian and Alex doing in the study?
'And what was that discussion about the company that Antonio overheard? How could Brian have been talking to Alex about company contracts and such?'
In that instant, a robot burst into the room, fully charged and brimming with energy. It approached Brian and scanned his eyes.
"Boss, long time no see."
Brian's expression changed, and he gave a direct order, "We've talked about this, 'boss' doesn't sound good. Call me 'master' instead."
"Yeah, always calling him 'boss' sounds like a nouveau riche." Ethan helped cover it up as well.

She couldn't be mistaken—this robot had called Ethan, Harper, and others 'master'; but it had never previously called them 'boss'.
