Chapter 955 Approaching Her with a Different Identity

Isabella eyed him suspiciously, her brow furrowing. "Hey, boss, is something up?"

Disguised as Francis, he snapped back to reality, a smile tugging at his lips. "Nope, no problem at all... I'll get it ready for you."

He had imagined countless reunion scenarios, but now that the moment had arrived, he realized his heart could still pound so fiercely.

He also realized that he missed her more than he had ever imagined.

Surrounded by the sea of flowers he had prepared for her, everything else faded the moment she appeared.

"Here are the flowers you wanted," Francis said, handing over the bouquet, his voice hoarse. "Ma'am, we have a special promotion right now. If you sign up for a membership and leave your contact info, these flowers are a welcome gift, free of charge."

The flower shop was opened for her, so how could he charge her?

Otherwise, why would he have chosen this location? It was all to make sure she could see him.

Isabella looked at him skeptically. "Are you sure?"

Signing up for a membership to get free flowers? This guy would go broke in a few days.

"Absolutely sure."

"Alright then, thank you."

After leaving her contact information, Isabella couldn't help but think, no wonder her colleagues praised the flower shop owner so much. Turns out, he's just a generous fool!

She gave him a once-over, smiling as if casually. "I've never seen anyone run a flower shop like you. Giving away flowers like this, it must take a long time to break even, right?"

The flowers in the shop were all fresh, and many were high-end varieties.

Like the roses she had just picked, which were of excellent quality.

Francis smiled tenderly, tearing off the contact information she had written and holding it in his hand. "Some things, as long as you believe they're meaningful, will never be a loss."

Isabella was taken aback, then nodded in agreement.

"True."

She hadn't expected the owner to be such a sentimental person.

She inexplicably felt a bit more fond of him, her gaze softening. "Thanks for the flowers... I'll come by whenever I have time to support your business."

Francis's throat tightened, words almost spilling out, but all he managed was a simple "You're welcome."

He stood there, watching her walk away.

Even as her figure disappeared into the distance, the tenderness in his eyes lingered.

He wondered, 'With a new face and a new identity, would Isabella ever accept him?'

Antonio knew Francis had opened a flower shop near the company, but he didn't realize it was for Isabella. He just thought his brother needed a new identity for now and let him be.

Sarah, after hearing this, had an idea.

"So, does that mean we could take Ryan to see him too?"

With new identities and appearances, pretending to buy flowers shouldn't raise any suspicions, right?

"Maybe we should wait a bit longer?"

Antonio pondered for a moment, feeling it wasn't quite right. "You know how unpredictable Guadalupe is. We don't know if he has someone watching us. If we slip up, it could be disastrous."

Sarah sighed, turning to pour herself a glass of water. "Yeah, you're right."

Just as she sat down, her phone rang. To her surprise, it was a video call from Bob.

She put down her glass, glancing at Antonio nearby, and cleared her throat. "It's Bob calling. I'll answer it."

The mention of Bob's name brought a fleeting coldness to Antonio's eyes, but it quickly vanished. However, Sarah's conscientious reporting pleased him.

"Go ahead. He probably just wants to see the baby." He picked up Nia from the bed and sat down with her. "Let's show him how well we're taking care of Nia."

Sarah said nothing, answering the call.

Bob had spent a long time building up the courage to make this call. He missed Sarah desperately, but when the video connected, he was greeted by the sight of a loving family!

Antonio held the baby in one arm, the other around Sarah's shoulders.

He smiled. "Good afternoon, Mr. Morrison."

Sarah nudged him lightly but said nothing, turning to Bob on the screen. "Did you want to see Nia? She's been very good, drinking her milk and sleeping well. You don't need to worry."

She didn't even ask how he was doing.

Bob's chest tightened, forcing a smile. "Thank you."

"My wife loves Nia, so taking care of her isn't a burden. Plus, I help out too. Don't worry, Mr. Morrison. Take your time recovering. We're in no rush."

Antonio's polite and magnanimous response, as if he had completely let go of past grievances, even surprised Sarah.

But it was for the best.

She nodded in agreement. "Antonio's right. Rest well. You can come get Nia when you're better."

"Yes, look at Nia!" Antonio showed him the baby. "Hasn't she gotten a bit chubbier?"

Bob was speechless.

He gritted his teeth, his brow twitching, watching the harmonious family on the screen, wishing he could drag Antonio out and beat him up!

Why were they getting along so well?

Shouldn't Antonio be angry with Sarah?! How could he be so magnanimous?!

Bob's anger simmered, barely contained, his facial muscles twitching as he forced a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Harrington, for taking care of the baby!"

After hanging up, he threw his phone against the wall in frustration, watching it shatter.

"Antonio! You're so annoying!" Bob muttered to himself.

He took a deep breath, realizing he needed a new plan. He couldn't keep pretending to be sick!

Meanwhile, Sarah also felt something was off, eyeing Antonio, who was playing with the baby on the couch. "Are you crazy? Weren't you at each other's throats before? Why are you suddenly so nice to Bob?"

"You're not happy I'm being nice to him?" Antonio pulled her into his arms. "I've had an epiphany."

"An epiphany?"

"Yeah, I know you and he have no future, so why make myself miserable? Plus, fighting over him just gives others an opportunity."

Most importantly, Sarah loved Nia.

Nia could help her overcome postpartum depression.

Sarah smiled approvingly, kissing his cheek. "I'm glad you think that way. We're legally protected. Bob can't come between us."
