Chapter 58 She Is My Long-Lost Wife
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Sarah spun around to see two maids at the door, with three dudes in work uniforms behind them.
A bad feeling washed over her, and she frowned. "Who are you guys?"
The maids led the three men inside, and without a word, they headed straight for the window. Sarah was floored. "What the heck are you doing?"
One of the maids, looking awkward, said, "Mrs. Valencia, this is Mr. Valencia's orders. We can't do anything about it."
Sarah caught on and tried to stop them, but it was too late.
She was forced to sit by the bed, with a maid holding her shoulders. She bit her lip hard. "Who is Mrs. Valencia? I am not Antonio's wife."
The guys by the window were already at it, sealing the window shut in no time.
Sarah got what Antonio was up to. She gripped the bed sheet tightly, watching helplessly as her escape route was blocked.
She thought, 'Antonio, you are ruthless! But don't think this will trap me. I'll find a way out!'
The next morning, outside the main entrance of the Valencia Group building, a mob of reporters had gathered, making it impossible to get through.
Reporters from all sorts of TV stations and media outlets were there to get the first scoop. Dozens of security guards were trying to keep things in order, and even police cars were around.
James was driving and saw the chaos from a distance. He asked, "Mr. Valencia, should we go through the side entrance?"
Antonio glanced at the crowd and said calmly, "No need."
James, smart enough not to argue, drove the car straight ahead.
The reporters recognized Antonio's car and swarmed around it.
"Mr. Valencia, any comments on Lisa's video?"
"Mr. Valencia, do you really have two families?"
"Is it true you ignored your sick son and let your illegitimate daughter move into the villa?"
"Mr. Valencia..."
The car pushed through the crowd and stopped at the entrance.
Antonio stepped out but didn't head into the building. Instead, he turned to face the reporters.
The reporters surged forward again, cameras flashing. This was a rare chance!
The security guards kept the reporters from getting too close to Antonio. James was even more puzzled. Antonio usually hated dealing with the media. Why was he acting so differently today?
Antonio looked coldly at the reporters, his lips slightly parted.
The reporters instinctively quieted down, listening to Antonio's deep, cold voice.
"She is not a maid, nor a homewrecker. She is my long-lost wife."
At the time, the announcement caused shockwaves.
Wife?
Antonio's wife was still kicking!
The reporters knew all about Antonio's marital status and had heard that his wife died in an accident five years ago. Now that she was alive, they bombarded him with questions.
James was floored. Memories from the past flashed through his mind, and suddenly, it all made sense.
No wonder Antonio lost it when he saw the woman named "Luna." Luna was actually Sarah, but her face seemed different.
Antonio stayed stone-faced, ignoring the reporters' questions. He continued, "My wife and I never divorced. Legally, we are still married."

With that, Antonio turned and walked into the building.

Sarah must have done it on purpose, sending Harper to cause trouble and embarrass her on her wedding. It had to be intentional!
"Damn Sarah. You exist just to disgust me. You've always been in my way, ever since we were kids."
Hatred filled Lisa's mind, turning into deep anger. She clenched her fists, her manicured nails digging into her flesh. After a long while, her eyes darkened, and a faint smile appeared on her lips. "Fine, you asked for this. If you won't disappear, I'll make you disappear myself!"
She was dead set on getting rid of Sarah and Harper. No one would take what belonged to her and Ryan!
