Chapter 123 None of Your Business
Ethan was so freaked out he just stood there like a deer in headlights, staring at the dude at the door, totally forgetting to even blink.
The guy was just as shocked to see Ethan in the control room, then he let out this icy laugh.
Antonio knew who it was the second he laid eyes on Ethan.
The kid who clocked him before, the blur at Michael's place, and the one who swiped his wristband—all Ethan.
Antonio stormed over to Ethan. "Don't even think about pulling any tricks. This time, you're not slipping away."
He hadn't nabbed him before, but now that he had him, there was no way he was letting him go.
Ethan was still trying to wrap his head around what was happening. As he backed up, he blurted, "How are you here? No, how'd you even know I was here?"
Antonio smirked, one side of his mouth curling up. Of course, he was ready for this!
After getting played three times yesterday, did he really think he wouldn't have a plan?
He figured Ethan would keep messing with him, so he decided to make the first move and didn't get in the elevator.
Meanwhile, James was stuck in the elevator, curled up in a corner, shaking like a leaf!
The glass side of the elevator showed the outside world, a view that was almost too much for James. "Antonio, get me outta here!" he yelled, totally desperate.
In the control room, Antonio looked down at Ethan, his intense eyes locking onto Ethan's big ones, feeling this weird sense of déjà vu.
With a frown, Antonio cut to the chase and demanded, "Who the hell are you?"
Ethan balled up his little fists, lifted his chin, and snapped back, "None of your business."
Damn, he actually got caught by Antonio!
Good thing he had a taser. He reached into his pocket with one small hand, planning to zap Antonio when he got close.
But Antonio, with his eagle eyes, saw Ethan's move and grabbed his hand.
Seeing what Ethan had, Antonio's eyes darkened. "Still trying to pull something?"
He snatched the taser, tossed it to the ground, and reached to yank off Ethan's mask.
He wanted to see who this kid really was!
Ethan freaked as that big hand came for his face. Without thinking, he kicked hard.
But Antonio was ready and dodged easily. He sneered, "That trick won't work anymore. Behave, or I'll drag you to the cops and let your folks see what you've done. Plus, all the damage to my company? Your parents are paying for that."
Ethan yelled in anger. How was Antonio gonna make Sarah pay?
Even though his first attack failed and one hand was still caught, Ethan wasn't giving up and kept kicking and hitting Antonio.
But soon, Antonio's angry voice boomed from above. "You've already lost. Game over."
After all this time, it was time to wrap it up.
Did Ethan still want to fight him?
What a joke!
Antonio easily pulled off Ethan's mask while holding the struggling kid tight.
Antonio's eyes were glued to Ethan's small face, like he was trying to figure something out. He then took off Ethan's baseball cap, and without the brim to hide behind, he finally saw Ethan's face clearly.
Antonio's usually icy face showed a rare look of shock.
Ethan was a dead ringer for Harper!
So Sarah had two kids, and they were twins!
But that shock quickly turned into pure rage.
She had twins with another guy!
Antonio felt his blood boil, and his hand clenched, crumpling the mask into a ball.
He stared at Ethan's face, his eyes like a bottomless pit.
Ethan, the kid who'd been messing with him, was Sarah's son!
Did Sarah know about all this? What else was she hiding?
When Ethan's cover was blown, his heart sank. He quickly turned his face away, but it was too late.
For the first time, he felt real panic, his eyes darting around nervously.
Antonio had seen his face!
His secret was out. What now?
He'd thought Antonio was too dumb to catch him.
If he'd known it would end like this, he would've used a hologram.
But it was too late for that. The main thing now was to get out of here fast!
Ethan gathered his courage and decided to make one last stand.
"Let me go! I'll sue you for bullying a kid!"
Did Antonio think he was the only one who could sue people?
"Sue me?" Antonio laughed coldly, like he'd just heard the funniest joke ever.
Ethan's got some fire in him, where'd he get that from?
Even after getting caught, he still had the guts to yell at him.
Ethan's little face tightened, and he glared fiercely at Antonio. "Yeah, I'll sue you! I'll have the cops throw you, this bad guy, in jail!"
Antonio had hurt Sarah so badly; he was already a big-time criminal.
He'd been super careful before. Antonio had no proof, so even if he was taken to the cops, he wasn't scared.
On the flip side, it was Antonio who was bullying this poor kid. If he threw a fit, the cops would totally believe him.
With this thought, Ethan's fear eased a bit, but no matter how he struggled, he couldn't break free. In desperation, he aimed at Antonio's hand and bit down hard!
Antonio frowned, his arm instinctively loosening a bit.
Noticing Ethan's escape attempt, Antonio quickly grabbed his collar with his other hand and yanked him back.
He glanced at his hand, where two deep rows of small teeth marks were left.
This bite was filled with Ethan's hatred and disgust for Antonio, breaking the skin.
For Antonio, this only fueled his anger!
"Fine, you asked for this." Antonio stopped wasting his breath, picked up Ethan with one hand, and turned to leave.
No one had ever dared to be so bold in front of him. Ethan had pushed his buttons too many times, and he was determined to teach him a lesson.
Ethan felt his feet leave the ground, and in a flash, he was lifted into the air. He struggled and kicked at Antonio. "You have no right to grab me! Let me down! Help! He's kidnapping a kid!"
He hated Antonio's guts and didn't want to go with him!
But his resistance only made Antonio more annoyed. His face darkened, and he tightened his grip even more.
The only sound echoing in the company hallway was Ethan's cries for help.
