Antonio reminisced to himself but was suddenly interrupted by Serene.
Her voice became inexplicably sharp, "It's all in the past! Why bring up those things? I merely did a small favor, nothing worth mentioning... Tell me, how can I assist the Valencia family?"
Serene shook her hands repeatedly, causing cold sweat to break out.
Antonio smiled gently, "There's no need to trouble yourself, but I still owe you a debt of gratitude for saving my life. If the Valencia family ever needs assistance in the future, I'll be there without hesitation."
Sarah glanced at Antonio upon hearing his words.
Is he deliberately setting boundaries with Serene in front of her?
Serene forced a smile, "In that case, I'll take my leave. You all have important matters to attend to."
After saying that, she hastily left, trying her best to conceal her nervousness.
She never expected that Antonio would voluntarily bring up the incident from back then with Sarah!

"You can continue being pathetic, while watching Sarah give birth to someone else's child again!

Serene understood in her heart.
Sometimes, resorting to old tricks is not a last resort, but a way to reopen old wounds.

The next day, at Valencia Inc, James came to find Antonio with an invitation card, "Mr. Valencia, Madame, there is a business cocktail party tonight and you can't refuse."
Sarah actually disliked these kinds of gatherings the most, but Valencia Inc. had just resumed its normal operations, so declining a business cocktail party would be uninteresting.
Besides, with Antonio by her side, such events wouldn't be boring.
