Chapter 350 Antonio Went for Appraisal Again?!
"Was the affection between you two all fake? Why did you fall apart so quickly?"
"There have been rumors that your marriage was contractual. Can you clarify?"

Sarah was bewildered by these questions. She had only had an argument with Antonio. How did the journalists find out and spread the news of a marriage crisis?
She stood in front of Kevin's sickbed, afraid that these journalists would frighten him.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a hospital room. I hope you can understand. Let's talk outside."
The journalists acknowledged the individuals present in the room and confirmed Sarah's intention to respond. Thus, they followed her instructions and left the ward.
Sarah glanced at Kevin, who seemed to be doing well, before finally stepping outside as she felt assured about leaving him alone in the ward.
Sarah looked at all the journalists with a stern expression. "I don't understand what you were just talking about. How did these rumors spread?"
The journalist at the front pulled out their phone and played a video that was trending at the top. "Ms. Miller, please give us a serious response regarding this video. Did you make Mr. Valencia do that?"
Sarah watched the video on her phone, capturing the moment Antonio stopped her from leaving yesterday.
While Antonio hadn't actually knelt down, the edited video made it seem like he had!
Sarah's vision darkened. She didn't need to think twice to know that this was definitely Brian's doing.
'That brat! I'll see how I handle him when I get back.'
She couldn't release this video even if she wanted to retaliate against Antonio. After all, he was the CEO of Valencia Inc., and it would greatly impact the company's future.
Sarah sighed. "This matter is not what you imagine it to be. You should ask Antonio for the specifics. I don't want to respond."
"Mr. Valencia is currently out of reach, and there's no sign of him within the company. Can you confirm if you're already divorced?"
It seemed these journalists had already been to Valencia Inc. but couldn't find Antonio, which was why they sought her out.
Sarah tidied her hair. "All I can tell you is that this matter is not what you imagine. Our marriage is not encountering any issues."
The journalists were relentless and insisted on finding out the truth.
Sarah felt very helpless but couldn't hide inside the ward. Now that she wanted to leave, the journalists were blocking her way, making it impossible to leave.
Meanwhile, in the ward, Serene also caught wind of the trending topic on her phone. She couldn't believe it. Antonio would go to such extreme lengths for a woman!
Serene tightly gripped her phone, a surge of hatred building up inside her.
Serene listened to the conversation happening outside her room...
"Dear journalist friends, I know you are very concerned about Sarah and Antonio's marriage. First of all, thank you, everyone, but please understand that we're in a hospital.
"And it's in front of my father's ward. I hope you can understand that patients need good rest. Whatever questions you have, we can wait until Antonio returns to answer them in detail. So, please leave for now."
Serene shielded Sarah behind her and assisted her in leaving the hospital.
Sarah had no intention of answering any more questions and walked towards the hospital’s exit with Serene.
Seeing Sarah's intention to leave, the journalists swarmed up all at once.
There was no other way. Serene could only protect Sarah and squeeze through the crowd.
The surroundings were all walls and medical equipment. Serene was bumped and left with bruises and a scraped wound.
Sarah quickly pulled Serene and ran outside.
After squeezing for a long time, they finally got on the elevator and left through the back door with the hospital security's help.
"Ms. Jerrett, I really want to thank you. You need to treat your injuries quickly and prevent any infection."
Sarah originally intended to stay and help Serene with her wound.
But she realized that the group of journalists had already followed through the back door. If they didn't leave now, it would really be too late.
Serene saw Sarah's embarrassment and smiled indifferently. "You should hurry back. Don't let those journalists block you. These are just minor injuries, you don't have to worry about me."
"Thank you so much. I'll remember this favor."
Sarah expressed her thanks repeatedly, and she quickly drove away when she saw the journalists approaching.
Serene breathed a sigh of relief. She watched Sarah's figure as she left, her eyes filled with jealousy and hatred, undiminished.
Clutching her fists tightly, she suddenly thought of something important.
'Why isn't Antonio at the company? t's working hours now, and Antonio hasn't been to the company for the past two or three days. He should have been dealing with things at the company during this time.
'Then where could he possibly be?'
Suddenly, an ominous feeling arose in Serene's heart. Without delay, she reached out to her designated informant, whom she had arranged to keep tabs on Antonio.
"Why isn't Antonio at the company?" Serene asked.
The informant reported, "After he left home today, he made a detour and went to a paternity testing center, then quickly came out. He’s currently on his way to the company. Is there a problem?"
"What! He went to a paternity testing center?" Serene was shocked.
