Chapter 835 What is Isabella here for!

Guadalupe asked the driver to take the car to the Valencia Group. Just as they arrived downstairs, he received a phone call.

Francis couldn't hear the conversation, only hearing him respond with a "hmm."

After hanging up, Guadalupe put away his phone and turned to him, "Something came up that I need to handle. Call me if you need anything."

Francis knew that years ago, before his car accident, Guadalupe had a lot of business dealings in Capital City.

After the accident, Guadalupe took him abroad, but didn't neglect his domestic business.

Francis felt a sense of relief but showed no change in his expression. "Alright, take your time. Don't worry about me."

Francis wished Guadalupe was too busy to deal with him.

Guadalupe dropped him off at the company entrance and had an assistant help him into a wheelchair. He then patted Francis on the temple and gave him a deep look, "Be good."

With that, the car started and sped away.

Francis watched his departing figure, his turbulent emotions surging. It felt as if all his thoughts were laid bare before Guadalupe.

Guadalupe couldn't possibly know his plan!

As long as everything went smoothly, he could definitely get rid of this lunatic!

Francis, with his emotions in turmoil, tried to push the wheelchair but accidentally dropped the folder in his lap, scattering papers everywhere.

He took a deep breath and was about to call the security guard at the door.

Just then, a clear voice sounded from beside him, "Sir, do you need help?"

He turned towards the voice.

The woman standing next to him had long hair draped over her shoulders. Her white dress perfectly accentuated her gentle demeanor. Her face was as delicate as a painting, and her bright eyes shone like the warm sun in winter, piercing his lonely heart.

She had already picked up all the papers and handed them to him. "Sir?"

Francis's eyes moved, looking at her beautiful hand.

He hesitated before taking the papers, "Thank you."

Isabella had thought he might be mute, but hearing him speak suddenly, she was momentarily surprised and joked, "You have a nice voice, sir. I'm glad I came over, or we would have missed this."

She handed him the organized papers and, still crouching, met his gaze.

He had a nice voice and was quite good-looking.

Even sitting in a wheelchair, he exuded an air of superiority.

Francis also observed her. The light from behind cast a golden glow on Isabella, making her look exceptionally beautiful.

He quickly averted his gaze, a blush creeping up his earlobes, and his lips curled into a slight smile, "You're too kind, miss. Thank you for your help."

"No problem." Isabella smiled and shook her head, then offered, "Are you heading up?"

"Yes, I have some work to do."

"I'm heading up too. Why don't we go together?" She said, already turning to grab the wheelchair handles. "I'm here for an interview today. Since you work in this building, we might see each other often."

Listening to her clear and pleasant voice, the refusal on Francis's lips changed its tone. "Thank you."

"No problem. I'm Isabella. What's your name, sir?"

"Francis Valencia."

"Mr. Valencia, you look like a business elite. I hope to learn from you in the future." Her straightforward and natural words made his heart race faster.

After a brief conversation, they reached the floor. Isabella was surprised, "Mr. Valencia, you're here for the CEO's office?"

Before Francis could respond, Antonio walked to the elevator door, "Francis, you're here."

Isabella was surprised, thinking, 'Francis and Antonio share the same last name. Coming to the CEO's office of the Valencia Group, he must be Antonio's relative!'

She hadn't realized it earlier.

Behind Antonio, Sarah followed. The couple looked at the person being pushed in, and seeing it was Isabella, they were momentarily confused.

How did these two end up together? The scene had an inexplicable sense of harmony.

Isabella broke the awkwardness first, smiling and explaining, "Mr. Antonio Valencia, Mrs. Valencia, I met Mr. Francis Valencia downstairs. What a coincidence."

Antonio felt a bit on edge seeing Isabella.

Although he and Isabella had cleared things up, and she had helped him a lot against Benjamin, and he had been honest with Sarah about everything.

But remembering that he had been engaged to Isabella during his amnesia was terrifying!

He quickly pulled Sarah back a few steps, "Miss, we have a business to discuss with Francis. If you have nothing else, please leave."

Isabella was silent.

She smiled helplessly, "Don't overthink it. I saw that the Valencia Group was hiring a project manager, a position that suits me well, so I scheduled an interview with HR today."

Antonio frowned, about to say "You're not suitable for the Valencia Group," But Sarah interrupted, "In that case, Ms. Moore, please go ahead. Good luck with your interview."

Isabella was taken aback, not expecting Sarah to be kinder to her than Antonio. She smiled gratefully, "Thank you."

With that, Isabella headed to the HR department.

Sarah watched her leave, feeling a mix of emotions.

At first sight of Isabella, she had felt a twinge of unease, recalling some unpleasant memories.

But when Isabella addressed them as "Mr. Valencia, Mrs. Valencia," Sarah knew she had truly moved on.

Given that, why deprive a capable woman of the right to seek a job?

Women should support each other. If not forced, she didn't want to be at odds with Isabella; it was exhausting.

If it weren't for the initial issues with Benjamin, Sarah might have even become friends with Isabella.

Francis, unaware of the past between Isabella, Antonio, and Sarah, sensed the unusual atmosphere.

He was about to ask something when someone from the meeting room called out, "Are you ready to start?"

"Yes." Antonio stepped forward to push the wheelchair, "Francis, let's deal with the project first."

They entered the meeting room, and Sarah waited in the lounge area.

She was in her late pregnancy and wasn't there to work.

Not long after, Isabella finished her interview and came out of the HR department.

From a distance, she saw Sarah gently caressing her belly, her face full of maternal love, a clear sign of someone immersed in happiness.

They were truly happy.

At that moment, Isabella felt envy but no jealousy.

She took a deep breath and walked over. "Ms. Miller."

Sarah looked up at her voice, not surprised, "Ms. Moore, finished with your interview?"

"Yes."

"Have a seat."

Knowing Isabella had something to say, she moved aside and instructed the nearby secretary, "Get Ms. Moore a cup of coffee."

There seemed to be a strange understanding between the two women.

Isabella thanked her and sat down. "Are you due soon?"
