James warned sternly outside the door, "If you have business matters, you should discuss them with your immediate supervisor. Since when did our company allow you to report directly to higher-ups? Stand down!"
"Oh, Secretary, this matter is urgent!"
With that, she raised her voice outside the door and shouted to Antonio, "Mr. Valencia, are you in there? I really need to talk to you about something important. Could you please let me in?"
Antonio's face had turned sour after being interrupted multiple times that day, not to mention the interruptions to his affectionate moments with Sarah. These people had no sense at all, constantly barging into his office!
Seeing the urgency in the person's tone outside the door, Sarah was afraid that it might truly be something important and excused herself, "You deal with your business first, I'll go out."
However, Antonio stopped her, "No, stay here. You are my assistant, and it's a good opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with various matters within the group."
Sarah thought Antonio's words made sense, so she obediently found a seat on the side, taking out a pen and notebook, intending to take some notes and see if Mr. Valencia would say anything important while handling his business.

"Mr. Valencia, I have worked diligently in the Valencia family for three years, and our team has made significant contributions to the company. People thought James was going to lose his job because it hadn't been announced to the whole company. That's why Lily said what she did. She intended to gain an ally. After speaking, she smiled and glanced at James.
But James just wanted her to shut up already!
But Mr. Valencia hadn't said anything yet, so all Lily could do was stand there silently, sweat trickling down her forehead.
Antonio squinted his eyes, exuding a dangerous aura. "So, you have a problem with Sarah?" His words startled Lily, and she swallowed nervously. Her voice lowered as she replied, "It's not just me... it's everyone..."
Antonio coldly snorted, then suddenly spoke up, "Would you like something to drink?"
Lily was taken aback, thinking that Antonio had listened to what she said and was showing concern. She quickly smiled and replied, "...Thank you, Mr. Valencia, a cup of coffee."
But all she got in return was a disdainful chuckle from Antonio.
Lily shivered, realizing that Antonio hadn't even spared her a glance. He was completely focused on Sarah beside him, his eyes even carrying a hint... of tenderness?
Upon hearing Lily’s self-deprecating response, Antonio turned his head back to her with a cold and indifferent gaze.
That disdainful expression, as if looking at garbage, his deep eyes resembling a bottomless well, chilled her to the bone.
Sarah could see Lily’s embarrassment and discontent clearly, finding it somewhat amusing. She smiled faintly at Antonio and said, "Anything will do."
Then, Antonio personally got up and poured a glass of water for Sarah, handing it to her.

What was so special about this Sarah... that she could make Antonio serve her personally?

Lily felt a tremor throughout her body, her head instantly unable to lift, and her hands involuntarily trembling. "I'm sorry, Mr. Valencia, I overstepped! I'm sorry!" Antonio coldly snorted, "So now you think you can cover it up with apologies, recently..."
