Chapter 7 Imprisoning Her

Antonio was decked out in a fancy suit today, looking all sharp and intimidating.

"Luna Harris," he called out, striding over to Sarah. "Where you planning on heading this time?"

Sarah froze for a sec when she heard him use her alias. Guess he’d done his homework on her.

Good thing Brian had set her up with a fake ID and some backstory, or she’d be in deep trouble right now.

"Since you've done your homework, you should know I'm not Sarah. Where I go is none of your business. I can go wherever I want."

Antonio’s face was all tense, his eyes boring into her.

Yeah, he’d had her checked out, and sure, she wasn’t Sarah on paper, but he just had this gut feeling she was, even if he couldn’t prove it.

"If you’re not, then why not let me check?"

Antonio only trusted himself. Didn’t matter what she said; he had to see for himself.

Sarah took a step back, eyes wary. What was he planning now?

Last night, he’d tried to yank her pants off, totally shameless. Was he gonna try that again?

"You think you can just check my body? Forcing me to strip is a crime!"

Antonio ignored her, stepping closer with a low, menacing tone. "You know who I am. Better spill the truth now."

"You..."

Was he seriously trying to threaten her?

Sarah just wanted to slam the door in his face, but as she tried, Antonio’s hand blocked it. With a shove, he pushed the door open and barged in.

Damn it, she couldn’t fight him off or run. She was stuck and could only yell for help, "Help!"

But before she could finish, the door slammed shut. Antonio wrapped an arm around her waist and clamped a hand over her mouth, dragging her towards the bed.

Sarah struggled like crazy. As they got close to the bed, she was so desperate she bit down hard on Antonio’s hand!

Antonio winced. "Sarah. I told you, you can’t escape."

Sarah was speechless. Why was he so dead set on her being Sarah?

Even though she was, Antonio was relentless.

"Are you nuts? Don’t touch me, it’s gross!"

Just thinking about him with Lisa made her want to puke. She’d never forget that scene.

Antonio’s eyes went cold. Gross?

The photos of her sneaking around with someone else, how could he not feel grossed out?

She had the nerve to cheat on him and disappear for five years. If he hadn’t bumped into her, how long was she planning to hide?

Antonio said, "Save your breath. Just think about how you’re gonna explain this later."

Sarah’s face turned red with anger. Just then, a knock on the door interrupted them, followed by James’s voice from outside.

"Mr. Valencia, Frederick Miller has arrived."

Hearing this, Antonio paused.

He hadn’t come here just to find her today.

He was here to hash out some top-secret deal with Frederick.

And just his luck, Frederick had shown up right on time.

Before Antonio could say anything, James piped up, "Mr. Miller said he’s only got twenty minutes."

Antonio frowned hard, then let go of Sarah after a few seconds. He got up to leave but not before barking orders at the bodyguards by the door, "Keep an eye on her. Don’t let her bolt before I get back."

"Yes, Mr. Valencia!"

The door slammed shut again, and Sarah glared at it, fuming.

He actually locked her up!

What a jerk!

Meanwhile, Lisa had rolled up to the hotel too.

She was rocking a trench coat, high heels, and heavy makeup, her face full of scheming thoughts.

Yesterday, she’d been in a real mess, but she’d quickly got someone to put out a statement, explaining the wedding fiasco, saying Harper had mistaken someone else for her and that she hadn’t wrecked anyone’s relationship.

And her wedding with Antonio was postponed due to her "health issues."

It was the only way to save face for now.

But as long as she wasn’t married to Antonio, she couldn’t relax for a second, hence today’s plan.

She knew Antonio was here for business today. According to her plan, in an hour, he’d be drinking the wine she’d specially prepared for him!

She went to the room she’d booked in advance, waiting for the waiter to bring Antonio over, and then, well, have her way with him.

Lisa swirled the wine glass in her hand, eyeing the empty bed, her expression turning a bit wistful.

Back in the day, wherever she went, guys were all over her.

But all these years, Antonio had never slept with her.

If she hadn’t seen with her own eyes how he was with Sarah last night, she’d have doubted his sexual orientation.

No matter who Antonio liked, she was gonna be his woman today!

Meanwhile, in the presidential suite, Antonio met with Mr. Miller, and within minutes, they’d sealed the deal on the secret collab.

It was a win-win situation. Frederick had flown in just for this, showing he meant business.

Soon, a waiter brought in the wine. They, suspecting nothing, toasted and drank.

Just then, Antonio’s phone buzzed. He frowned, seeing it was a call from the bodyguard. He answered, his tone annoyed. "What’s up?"

"Mr. Valencia, Luna’s locked herself in the bathroom. We can’t get in, but we hear noises coming from inside."

Antonio’s face darkened.

He apologized to Frederick and left.

He stormed down the hallway, a cold aura around him.

What was Sarah up to now? Trying to make a run for it?

Whether he was in a rush or just plain mad, Antonio suddenly felt parched and even more irritable.

He yanked at his tie, but it didn’t help with the heat.

As the warmth spread through his body, he knew something was off. He quickened his pace to find Sarah.
