When she arrived at the hospital, she found there weren't many people.
Sarah went straight to Dr. Lewis's office.
She didn't think there would be many people, but to her surprise, the office was quite lively. Dr. Lewis's interns were all there, and she was giving them a lecture on clinical manifestations in obstetrics.
"Ms. Miller, you're here." Dr. Lewis turned around at the sound of the door opening and greeted her.
The interns also turned their attention back, curiously staring at the elegant pregnant Sarah.
Sarah felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at and stopped with a smile. "Dr. Lewis, are you busy?"
'We have scheduled this appointment in advance. Did I get the time wrong?' she thought.
"No." Dr. Lewis replied, stood up, and tidied up the bed beside her. "You came at the right time. While I examine you, they can observe. Ms. Miller, you don't mind, do you?"
This kind of thing was quite common in their field, and Dr. Lewis didn't think there was anything inappropriate. She asked out of courtesy.
Since she asked, Sarah felt it was hard to refuse.
She had often seen such situations online but never thought she would experience it herself.
She walked in with an awkward smile and nodded to the interns.
The interns quickly took out their notebooks from their pockets, looking at her expectantly.
Sarah felt a bit helpless.

She simply closed her eyes and lifted her shirt to reveal her swollen belly.
Dr. Lewis was about to start when she suddenly saw someone else at the door and smiled. "This time, the baby's father didn't miss it. Since you're here, come in and watch too!"
Sarah's eyes snapped open, and she was momentarily confused.
Before she could figure it out, Benjamin's handsome face appeared in her sight.
"Benjamin!" Sarah exclaimed in surprise, trying to sit up, but Dr. Lewis gently pressed her back down, understandingly saying, "It's okay. The baby probably wants to see their father too. Just relax."
Sarad hadn't noticed Benjamin had been following her!
Benjamin gave her a charming smile and thanked the doctor, "Thank you, Dr. Lewis."
Dr. Lewis thought Sarah was just shy and didn't say anything more, starting the ultrasound while explaining to the interns.
When the image appeared on the monitor, Dr. Lewis turned to Benjamin and said, "Look at the baby. They look quite like their father."
As she spoke, her movements slowed down, afraid Benjamin wouldn't see clearly.
The sound inside became more distinct, and she turned to Benjamin.
"Do you hear that? That's the baby's heartbeat."
Sarah opened her eyes. Only she could hear her own teeth grinding. She was about to lose her patience!
She was really fed up!
She hadn't expected Benjamin to show up here.
It was bad enough that he kept bothering her, but now he was pretending to be her baby's father!
Listening to his conversation with the doctor, Sarah could barely contain her anger!
But with so many people in the room, if she suddenly got mad at Benjamin, she was afraid they would think she went crazy.
Or maybe they would think they were a "couple" having a quarrel.
Sarah took a deep breath, suppressing her anger.
Benjamin looked at the little one on the screen. Even with their eyes closed, he could see some resemblance to himself.
A wave of emotion surged in his heart, and he couldn't help but feel a lump in his throat.
Sarah was carrying another one of their children.
This time, he finally witnessed the baby in her belly, not missing such an important moment.

Sarah was about to glare at him, but when she turned, she saw Benjamin crying!

Dr. Lewis wasn't surprised by such a scene, but she felt a bit emotional. She could tell that Benjamin seemed to love Sarah and the baby very much.

The interns quickly dispersed, leaving only Benjamin and Sarah in the office.
Sarah had just sat up from the bed when she heard Benjamin seriously ask Dr. Lewis, "Dr. Lewis, she's in her second trimester now, right? Is there anything she needs to be careful about?"
She looked up and saw Benjamin taking out a familiar little notebook from his pocket.
His serious demeanor was quite similar to the interns' earlier.
Dr. Lewis, having finished her work, seriously answered his question, "There's nothing particularly special she needs to be careful about now. Just moderate exercise and balanced nutrition. The most important thing is for her to stay happy."
Benjamin carefully noted down each point and asked, "Is there anything she should avoid eating?"
"Spicy and cold foods should be consumed in moderation, especially things like crabs, which should be avoided."
Benjamin noted it down and continued asking other questions.
Sarah watched from the side, feeling speechless.
Benjamin was acting quite convincingly, making people believe he was the baby's father.

After finishing his conversation with Dr. Lewis, Benjamin carefully put away his notebook and sincerely thanked Dr. Lewis, "Thank you for taking care of her all this time."

"Why should I be careful of the elevator!" Sarah angrily shook him off, accidentally hitting the back of his hand.
The smacking sound instantly shattered the previously harmonious atmosphere, making the air feel tense and emotionless.
Benjamin's eyes flickered slightly, and a wave of pain spread through his heart.
