Chapter 836 Prejudice Against Benjamin

"Yeah." Talking about children softened Sarah's expression again. "Less than two months to go. If you're interested, you can come and see."

Isabella was taken aback, feeling a bit flattered, and then nodded, "Sure, I'll definitely be there!"

Somehow, a wave of emotion surged in her heart, and her eyes felt warm.

"About what happened before, I'm really sorry, Ms. Miller. I didn't expect that because of me, I almost caused irreparable harm to you and Mr. Valencia. I'm truly sorry. It was my fault back then, always clinging to something that never belonged to me. Looking back now, I realize how foolish I was." She finished speaking and looked up, her slightly reddened eyes meeting Sarah's. "Can you forgive me? I really know I was wrong."

Sarah looked into her eyes for a long time, then smiled slightly, "I forgive you."

In fact, Isabella didn't really do anything to harm Sarah. She was essentially a kind person, just blinded by Harold, who told some lies and misled Antonio.

Isabella breathed a sigh of relief, almost crying tears of joy.

She smiled and said, "Ms. Miller, don't worry. I don't like Benjamin anymore. After all, Benjamin was a fake. I know there's only one Antonio in this world. I wish you and your husband a lifetime of happiness together."

Sarah responded cheerfully, "Thank you."

She hesitated for a moment and said, "Let's let bygones be bygones. Welcome to the Valencia Group."

Isabella was surprised, "But I still have several rounds of interviews to go."

Sarah smiled, "Consider it my blessing to you. I wish you success in your career, stay true to yourself, and never be deceived by anyone again. Live well for yourself."

"Thank you." Isabella's eyes reddened again.

The harmonious atmosphere outside did not reach the meeting room inside. Antonio, who was in a meeting, kept glancing outside, wondering what Sarah was doing.

Judging by the earlier situation, she shouldn't be angry because she met Isabella, right?

At this moment, Francis suddenly covered his mouth and coughed a few times, and it seemed to be getting worse, making everyone who heard it feel uncomfortable.

Antonio quickly got up from his seat and patted Francis on the back. "Francis? Are you okay?"

Francis's face turned red, and he waved his hand while coughing. After a while, he finally stopped and quickly took a sip of water, only to choke and start coughing again.

Antonio quickly raised his hand and said to everyone, "The meeting is paused for ten minutes. Everyone, take a break."

Then he asked Francis, "Francis, do you need me to take you home?"

"No need." Francis shook his head, clutching his chest, "It's an old problem. It'll pass soon. You don't need to worry too much."

Seeing that he was indeed a bit better, Antonio handed the water cup to his assistant, "Get Francis another cup of hot water."

Francis patted him, "Since we're on a break, go do what you need to do. Don't worry about me."

"Alright then, Francis, take a good rest. But if you feel very uncomfortable, you must tell me immediately and go to the hospital." After saying that, he walked out of the meeting room to check on Sarah.

As he reached the lounge door and saw Sarah and Isabella inside, he paused.

Antonio doubted his eyes. Seeing the two of them chatting happily, he quickened his pace and walked over. "What are you still doing here?"

The two women who were talking turned their heads simultaneously.

Antonio's tall and slender figure was perfectly complemented by his black suit, but the expression on his handsome face was anything but friendly.

Isabella and Sarah exchanged a glance, and Isabella took the initiative to greet him. "Hi, Mr. Valencia, um, long time no see."

They had just met when Isabella arrived!

Antonio immediately walked to Sarah's side and said in a deep voice, "This is not a place for you, Ms. Moore. I don't think you have anything to talk about with Sarah."

He instinctively believed that Isabella wouldn't say anything good to Sarah.

Although Isabella had helped him with the Harold situation, he had given her enough compensation.

They no longer owed each other anything and had nothing more to say.

Isabella looked calm, "Are you trying to kick me out?"

Antonio raised an eyebrow, "Isn't it obvious?"

"When I came earlier, I mentioned that I had an interview with the HR department. Mr. Valencia, do you want to interview me personally?"

"You?" Antonio almost immediately refused without any consideration, "Regardless of your interview results with the HR department, I don't agree. The Valencia Group doesn't have a suitable position for you."

At this moment, Sarah, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up. "I think it's quite suitable."

Antonio was puzzled.

He looked incredulously at Sarah beside him, "Sarah, what did you say?"

Sarah said, "I think Ms. Moore is very capable and we have a lot in common. If you think other positions are not suitable for her, then I'll make her my personal assistant."

Antonio's gaze swept over the two women opposite him. Their stance made it seem like they were on the same side, and he was the outsider.

Isabella pretended to sigh helplessly, "Sorry, Mr. Valencia, I want to leave, but Ms. Miller doesn't agree."

Antonio was silent.

He was still in a daze, and the two people opposite him started chatting again as if he wasn't there.

Sarah directly ignored him and said to Isabella, "Don't mind him. He just has a way of speaking that's not pleasant. But I also have a say in the Valencia Group. If he gives you a hard time, just tell me, and I'll handle him."

"Yeah, I don't owe him anything. I just felt sorry for you. Anyway, I'm not afraid of him now."

"When are you starting?" Sarah leaned closer to her ear, "Let me know when you start, and I'll arrange a nice office for you as a welcome gift."

Isabella didn't refuse and even said she would prepare a gift for Sarah's baby.

Until they finished talking, neither of them looked at Antonio.

As they left, Isabella smiled somewhat playfully. "Mr. Valencia, see you tomorrow then."

Sarah pulled her along, "Come on, I'll walk you to the elevator."

Antonio was silent, thinking, 'Is there really no one to speak up for me?'

He couldn't understand what had happened in such a short time. How did these two women suddenly become so close?

As soon as Sarah returned, Antonio immediately approached her. "Sarah."

His voice was pitiful and aggrieved, like he was seeking attention.

Sarah pushed his face away, "Can you be mindful of the company's image, Antonio?"

"Then tell me, what did Isabella say to you that made you change your mind about her so quickly?"

She frowned, "I never had a bias against her. I only had a bias against Benjamin."
