Chapter 917 Impersonated

"Sarah!" Antonio's expression suddenly relaxed. He quickly got out of bed, strode over to her, and was about to hug her. "Sarah, I missed you so much!"

Sarah was startled by his actions and quickly dodged. "What are you doing? Don't you know the state of your body?"

Antonio felt that just seeing Sarah would heal him, and he could be discharged immediately!

His joy and excitement seemed to overflow as he kissed her lips several times, "I missed you. Seeing you suddenly appear in front of me, I couldn't control myself!"

His deep, pleasant voice whispered in her ear, making Sarah blush. "But you need to be careful. What if your wound opens up?"

She pushed Antonio back onto the bed, "Stay put!"

Antonio let her do as she pleased, but his hand remained around her slim waist, as if holding his entire world. "You're finally back, but why didn't you tell me in advance? I'm recovering well now; I could have driven to pick you up."

His gentle, doting tone could drown Sarah.

Meanwhile, the other person in the ward, Saul, had been stunned since Sarah appeared and Antonio's demeanor changed dramatically.

He stared at the loving couple, feeling both shocked and frustrated.

All these days, there had been no one in Antonio's ward except for the caregiver and doctor, so Saul never thought he was married!

And now, Antonio's behavior was completely different from when he was with Saul!

Antonio must deeply love Sarah. This realization made Saul uncomfortable.

He couldn't describe his feelings, only that there was a rush of emotions, sour and without an outlet.

Sarah had been focused on Antonio, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, and only now noticed another person in the ward, Saul, wearing a hospital gown.

Saul was still a teenager, and somehow, his gaze was intense.

She turned to look, "Hello, who are you?"

The deep meaning in Saul's eyes was quickly hidden as he smiled, "Hello... I'm Saul. I'm also a patient in this hospital."

As he spoke, he glanced at Antonio with a somewhat pleading look, but Antonio didn't even turn his head, instead tightening his grip on Sarah's waist, "Oh, my wife is back. You can go now. I'll visit you when I have time."

He was busy getting close to Sarah, and having Saul around was inconvenient.

Saul forced a smile, "Okay."

He quickly glanced at Sarah, then shifted his gaze to Antonio. "Then I'll go now. Mr. Valencia, if you need anything, you can call me. I'll always be around."

With that, Saul's eyes lingered for a moment before he turned and left.

Sarah shivered slightly, feeling something was off.

"Sarah?" Antonio, seeing her staring at the door, discontentedly turned her face back to him, "I'm right here in front of you, and you're looking at someone else? Hmm?"

"I just feel something's strange." Sarah took his hand and held it, "Who is he?"

"His name is Saul, and he's my benefactor," Antonio replied.

"What do you mean?" Sarah stunned.

Antonio glanced casually at the door, then lowered his head, intertwining his fingers with Sarah's, "He should be the one who donated a kidney to me, so I had Aaron change his ward and take better care of him. He has no parents and often comes to chat with me. You weren't here, so I just chatted with him."

Sarah was silent.

No one knew better than her where Antonio's kidney came from. How could it be Saul?

But given the situation, with both of them still recovering and Eden not found, if she revealed the truth, Antonio would surely get angry.

So Sarah felt a complex mix of emotions.

Antonio saw her dazing off again and couldn't help but pinch her face. "Sarah, why do I feel something's off with you?"

Sarah snapped back, "Really? I was just thinking, aren't kidney donors usually kept confidential? How do you know he donated his kidney to you?"

"It's a long story. I ran into him while out for a walk. He had just had surgery and was very weak. Maybe it was fate, giving me a chance to thank him. His family is poor, so I help when I can."

"I see." Sarah thought of the pain she endured by donating a kidney and felt a bit of sympathy for Saul. She sighed, "Well, he is quite pitiful."

'So Saul must have donated a kidney to someone else? Never mind, just consider it a good deed.' Sarah thought.

After all, Saul was just a frail boy. Once she and Antonio were discharged, they probably wouldn't see him again.

Antonio, having not seen Sarah for so long, couldn't help but feel a surge of desire as he held her close. He pulled her closer by the waist, "You've been talking about irrelevant people since you got here. Don't you miss me? Hmm?"

"I do, I missed you so much!" Sarah was amused by his feigned anger and kissed him on the lips. "Is this enough?"

Antonio held the back of her head, "Not enough."

With that, he kissed her deeply, from gentle pecks to deep passion.

Sarah had to tilt her head back, afraid of accidentally touching his wound, holding onto his arm in an awkward position.

After a long while, they finally parted, both breathing heavily.

She leaned against his chest, panting. "Even now, can't you behave?"

Antonio's breathing was heavy, his heart pounding as if it would leap out of his chest, his voice husky and alluring, "You're my wife, why should I behave?"

He kissed the top of her head. "If we weren't in the hospital, it wouldn't just be kissing."

Sarah blushed and glared at him, "Stop it!"

To prevent him from losing control, she moved out of his embrace and pulled a chair to sit beside him, "Did the doctor say when you can be discharged? Is everything okay?"

"Yes, I'll have a full check-up in a couple of days. If everything's fine, I can be discharged." Antonio's eyes were glued to her, full of tenderness.

"By the way, Sarah," He suddenly remembered something, "you went out with the police to find Eden. How did it go?"

Hearing his words, Sarah felt anxious.
