And the elated Mr. Valencia had completely forgotten his earlier suspicions. "Thank you, sweetie, Daddy will go and change right now."
At that moment, Ryan and Brian finished tidying up and also joined in.
Only then did Sarah allow Antonio to enter the room.
That evening, after Antonio had finished tidying up, he quietly entered Sarah's room. However, Brian was already there, going over party arrangements with Sarah.
Upon noticing Antonio, Sarah and Brian fell silent.
Antonio's forgotten suspicions resurfaced. "What are you two doing? Ever since I got home today, everything has been so mysterious."
"We aren't doing anything. Why would you ask such a strange question? What you're saying is odd," said Brian while nonchalantly leaving the room. "Go to bed early, good night, Daddy."
Antonio looked at Sarah skeptically. "Spill it, what are you hiding from me?"
Sarah exclaimed nonsensically, "Actually, I initially gave birth to eight children. There are another five hiding around the villa. Go find them if you can."
Antonio laughed briefly, but his expression turned inscrutable.
Sarah had a bad feeling, squinting her eyes she asked, "Mr. Valencia, what are you up to?"
"I'm thinking about the other two children... They should be on your bed, shouldn't they?"
Saying so, Antonio leaped onto the bed.
"Antonio, aren't you being annoying?" Sarah's face flushed, "Hurry up and go back to your room to sleep."
"My wife is still not feeling well, I can't just go back to my room to sleep," Antonio said, clinging to the blanket.
Sarah didn't know what to do, "Won't the kids laugh at us?"
"The kids already call me Daddy, what's embarrassing about Daddy sleeping with Mommy? I declare that from now on, wherever you sleep, I'll sleep there too! No matter what you say, I won't leave!"
Sarah pinched Antonio's mouth. "I know, you big clingy baby."
Antonio beamed happily, "Honey, I want to hold you while we sleep!"
The two lay on the bed, Antonio feeling thoroughly satisfied. Before falling asleep, he didn't forget to claim a sweet kiss to ensure sweet dreams.
Sarah also quietly sighed in relief; luckily, Antonio hadn't thought of the birthday surprise yet...
Early the next morning, Antonio got up from a warm sleep and prepared breakfast for his wife and children.
This was his routine now, and the household staff were used to it, only occasionally stepping in to help when Antonio was too busy.
While making breakfast, Antonio held a morning meeting with James on the phone. "Okay, you go arrange the specific things, I'll arrive on time at 6:30 p.m. Make an appointment with the other party."
"No problem."
After hanging up, Antonio casually tossed the tablet onto the table.
Brian got up early today because he had to help Sarah with arranging the racing track, so he went downstairs where Antonio was preparing breakfast and thought to ask if he needed any help.
Just as he approached, he saw the tablet on the table and accidentally discovered the project proposal on it. "Daddy, are you planning to develop this project as well?"
Antonio glanced back, "Good morning, Brian. You're interested in this project too?"
"Yes."
Brian has already decided to settle here for the long term, so his multinational company was definitely going to gradually shift its business focus to this area. And now, Antonio wanted to collaborate in an area that also interested Brian.
Antonio thought for a moment and said, "I have a social engagement with the other company's CEO tonight. If you're free, do you want to come with me?"
"Is that okay? If it is, then take me with you."
"Of course, it's okay."
Antonio had long wanted to bring Brian to understand the domestic market better, and this opportunity was perfect.
That evening, they accepted the invitation and went to the restaurant.
As they walked, Antonio advised, "When you go in there, don't reveal your CEO status just yet. Just play the role of my son. We'll feel out their intentions first. If he seems like someone worth collaborating with, we can discuss the details of the partnership later."
Brian nodded with a smile. "What do you mean 'play the role of your son'? Aren't I really your son?"
Antonio paused and then laughed. "Haha, I misspoke. Isn’t this the first time I’m taking my beloved eldest son to a business meeting? I'm a bit excited."
These two entered the private room where a very young man was seated; this man was the CEO they were meeting tonight.
"So this must be Mr. Watson, right? Hello, I'm Antonio Valencia."
Edwin Watson was young, but not simple-minded. He had worked his way up to the wealth rankings of the capital city on his own merits.
However, such people can often be headstrong, and Edwin was no exception.
In his eyes, although Antonio's wealth was so extensive that everyone else could only look up to him, deep down, he did not think Antonio was much better than himself.
Wasn't Antonio still coming to him to propose a collaboration?
"Mr. Valencia, please have a seat. And who is this young man?"
Brian frowned subtly at Edwin’s words but did not make it too obvious.
"This is my son. He insisted on joining me, so I brought him along. I hope Mr. Watson doesn't mind."
"The children of wealthy families are different. I have a little nephew about the same age as your son, and he's still playing with toy building blocks at home."
Although Edwin’s words seemed complimentary, there was an undertone of sarcasm. It was almost as if he was saying that they could only be there because they were rich.
Antonio smiled faintly, though he was already quite displeased. However, he didn't let a few words deter his willingness to cooperate, so he refrained from pressing the matter further.
As they settled into their seats, Edwin clapped his hands. Suddenly, three alluring women entered through the door, each possessing a striking figure and dressed in revealing attire.
"Mr. Valencia, I've heard all about your charm and grace, so I specially arranged for some beautiful ladies to keep you company tonight. I hope you like them."
With those words, the women began to gather around Antonio.
Brian was already upset because of Edwin's rudeness and now wore an even colder expression on his face.
Antonio gestured to stop the women and spoke somewhat harshly, "Mr. Watson, if we're here to eat, let's eat. What's with this inappropriate behavior? Besides, my son is still here, isn't this a bit inappropriate?"
"What's there to be afraid of? We're all men here, and even if he's young, he has the same physiology as us. Why not indulge together?"
