Chapter 284 What is Brian Going to Do?
Suddenly, a child who looked exactly like Ethan emerged from the gift box.
Ethan and Harper stood frozen in place, while Ryan was so frightened that he too froze.
"Ethan!" Ryan exclaimed, his gaze shifting from Ethan to the child inside the gift box. "Why do you two look identical? Why are there two Ethans?"
Ethan and Harper immediately rushed toward the child inside the gift box. "Big brother!"
The child in the gift box, who looked exactly like Ethan, was indeed Brian.
Brian had missed his siblings a lot, and even the calmest child couldn't help but get teary-eyed.
"Big brother, you finally came."
The triplets leaned against each other, unable to let go of each other for a long time.
After a while, Harper remembered to introduce Brian to the bewildered Ryan.
"Ryan, this is our big brother. We are actually triplets. Ethan is the second, and I am the third."
Harper held Brian's hand and walked up to Ryan. "Big brother, this is Ryan, the son of Daddy that I told you about."
Brian glanced at Ryan and recognized him as Antonio's son. Despite feeling a tad uneasy, he couldn't muster the heart to be distant with the boy before him. After all, Antonio remained Antonio, and Ryan was simply Ryan.
Brian reached out his hand and formally introduced himself to Ryan, "Hello, my name is Brian. I'm Ethan and Harper's older brother. Thank you very much for taking care of them during this time. If you need anything in the future, feel free to ask, and I will do my best."
Ryan blinked his eyes and didn't shake Brian's hand. Instead, he cautiously tiptoed and pinched Brian's cheek.
"Oh my, it's really true. I used to think that Ethan and Harper already looked so much alike, but I didn't expect there to be someone who looks exactly like Ethan. I also wish I were a twin."
Although Brian doted on his siblings, they had never done such a thing to him before.
It was Ryan's first time seeing triplets, so he was very curious about Brian. "Big brother, how did you fit yourself into the box?"
"You should be older than me, so why do you call me big brother? Ethan, Harper, and I were born on the same day, so you should be called big brother," Brian corrected Ryan's mistake.
Ryan suddenly realized and then went forward to hug Brian. "Happy birthday, Brian!"
"I'm happy, but why are you hugging me?" Brian was startled.
"When I wished Ethan and Harper a happy birthday today, I hugged them too," Ryan explained.
Ethan and Harper exchanged a look, both noticing Brian's embarrassment.
"Big brother, are you shy?"
Harper glanced at Brian playfully, fully aware that in comparison to Ethan, Brian exuded a much colder and aloof demeanor. Suddenly, being embraced by Ryan like this, he must have felt extremely shy.
Brian blushed, half of his face turning red. "Who's shy? It's just a hug, what's the big deal?" Brian looked around. "Alright, you two enjoy teasing your big brother, huh? Let's see how I deal with you."
"Now Ryan is the oldest! We're not afraid of you!" Harper immediately hid behind Ryan. "Ryan, help!"
Brian looked at Ethan and clenched his fists.
Ethan immediately raised both hands in surrender. "Big brother, I'll always be on your side."
"Then hurry up and join in."
The four children began play-fighting instantly. The triplets restrained themselves, aware of Ryan's frail body.
Although the fun didn't last long. Ryan had never felt this happy before.
The four children lay on the edge of the balcony, gazing at the stars in the sky together.
"Brian, will you always stay at home?" Ryan asked.
Upon hearing this, Brian sat up straight. "Yes, there's something I need to tell you. Don't tell anyone about what I'm doing at home. And when we have late-night snacks, Ethan, you're not allowed to go out. I'll take care of it."
"Big brother, why can't I go out? What are you planning to do?"
