Chapter 685 He Really Deserves to Die!
Harper's hand was held by him. She should have withdrawn it, but for some reason, she felt Benjamin's hand so warm!
So she hesitated for a moment and didn't move.
"I do, but you definitely miss him more."
"You're so sweet." Benjamin was deeply moved and raised his hand to ruffle her hair.
He could clearly feel that Harper didn't feel repulsive towards him; she even seemed to like him a bit.
'If that was the case, could Harper help mediate my relationship with Sarah? Even a little bit of improvement would be good,' he thought.
Thinking of this, Benjamin carefully said to Harper, "Harper, you see, things haven't been great between your mommy and me recently. Could you put in a good word for me with her, so she won't be so against me?"

This question was a bit tricky to answer, but Benjamin nodded. "You could say that, but I just want to be good to your mommy and you."
Harper frowned. "But if I speak for you, it feels like I'm betraying my dad."
Benjamin was stunned briefly, then felt a relief.
He was moved by Harper's words. Now, even in front of others, she knew to protect his father and help him keep Sarah!
He really wanted to pick Harper up and give her a big kiss!
However, the problem now was he was indeed her dad!
He didn't know how could he say it without revealing his identity and still get Harper to willingly help him.
Benjamin thought for a while, then suddenly pointed to his face and seriously said to Harper, "Sweetie, look at me. Is there a chance that I am your dad?"
He thought that with his face, he could at least get some special treatment from Harper, better than any Bob or whoever.
But Harper wasn't that easy to fool.
Harper tilted her head, seriously examining his face.
After looking for a while, she shook her head seriously and said, "Mr. Harrington, you may look like my dad, but you were so cold before. Dad is much gentler than you! Besides, my dad has already been found, so you can't be him."
As Harper spoke, she got frustrated unconsciously mumbled, "I used to hope Mr. Harrington was my dad. When dad was found, mommy was sad for a long time and even ended up in hospital."
If Antonio hadn't died, Sarah would have been much happier!
Benjamin looked at his considerate daughter Harper, and his heart felt bitter.
If Harold hadn't done those things, neither Sarah nor the kids would have suffered so much!
But in the end, it was his own incompetence that had caused their suffering.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt he deserved to die!
"Harper, it won't happen again." Benjamin tried to control his emotions and hugged Harper. "Your dad won't die. He must be with you in another way."
He couldn't explain too much to Harper now, or it would be too dangerous for the child.
"Really?" Harper sniffed. Being hugged by Benjamin made her want to cry, but she held it back. "Then do you know where my dad is?"
"Harper, I'm right here," Benjamin said silently in his heart, his lips curling up slightly. "I will try my best to make your mommy accept me and be good to you. I will become just like your dad."
He sighed, all his helplessness hidden in the night.
"But I need some time. I will definitely bring your dad back to you."
Harper seemed to understand his meaning, or maybe she didn't. But it didn't matter.
"Mr. Harrington, are you saying we will have a dad again?"
"Yes." Benjamin nodded heavily. "I will definitely bring back your dad."
Harper didn't quite understand the situation but knew this was a promise from Benjamin.
'He meant that hen would become her dad in the future.'
'And he would be exactly like the old dad.'
'Could I believe it?' she asked herself inwardly.
Harper looked at the face in front of her and nodded, "Okay, then I will take care of mommy and wait for dad to come back."
Deep inside, Benjamin's heart had already melted, wanting to give Harper the best things in the world as she was so sweet.
He raised his hand and pinched her little cheek.
"Shall we make a promise?" he asked.
Seeing Harper slowly extend her little hand, Benjamin added, "This is be a secret between us. We can't tell anyone, not even your mommy. Can you do that?"
Harper hesitated for a moment, then nodded heavily after thinking it over.
She didn't know why, but she felt Benjamin wouldn't lie to her.
And at this moment, in Harper's eyes, Mr. Harrington was already a bit like her dad.
Maybe after some time, there would really be a surprise.
Meanwhile, Sarah was in the villa, unaware of all this.
She checked on Brady, confirmed he was asleep, and returned to her room. Thinking about Sofia and Alex's situation last time, she wondered how they were doing.
She decided to call and ask.
She took out her phone and dialed Sofia's number.

"Sarah, you finally decided to call me?"
Sarah heard her breathing and asked with a smile, "Are you out for a night run? You're so out of breath."
"Don't mention it. I feel like I've gained so much weight recently!" Sofia took a big gulp of water from the table and removed the towel from her neck. "I was doing yoga, but your call interrupted me, and now all my enthusiasm is gone."
Sarah knew better than anyone about her short-lived enthusiasm and chuckled, "Then wait until the next time you feel like it to continue."
"Yeah, that makes sense." Sofia actually stood up from the yoga mat. "How's the company doing?"
"I've already taken care of it. With BrianTech Solutions Inc's support, those online comments have disappeared. Now Brian is mainly managing the company, so I can relax."
Sofia sighed, "I'm so jealous! I also want a handsome and capable son like that!"
"You can have one too." Sarah took the opportunity to ask, "How are things with you and Alex?"
Hearing her question, Sofia's expression paused for a moment.
