But when James finally elbowed his way through the crowd and spotted Antonio, he saw that Antonio's face was as dark as a storm cloud.
Antonio's hand, hanging by his side, suddenly balled into a fist. His icy, fierce gaze swept over the gawkers, then he shot a look at James and barked, "Cut the video, now."
James felt a chill run down his spine, making him shiver. 'Oh crap! Antonio's pissed, and this ain't gonna end well!' he thought.
"Yes, Mr. Valencia!" James stammered and bolted like his pants were on fire, heading straight for the airport manager.
Seeing there was nothing juicy left to watch, the crowd started to break up.
Antonio was on the edge and had zero interest in playing nice. He ignored Alex and locked eyes on Sarah.
Since she wouldn't listen, he had to take matters into his own hands!
Antonio stepped forward, bent down, scooped Sarah up, and slung her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, then turned and walked off.
Sarah didn't even have time to react before her feet left the ground, and a wave of anger hit her. "Put me down! I'm not going back with you!"
Antonio's face was tight, his expression dark, and he pressed his lips together, not saying a word.
Sarah was fuming and pounded on Antonio's back, but he acted like he didn't even feel it and kept walking steadily.
No matter how much she struggled, she couldn't budge him an inch.
Whether it was the blood rushing to her head from being upside down or just sheer frustration, Sarah felt a bit dizzy.
But she kept fighting. "Antonio, you can't just kidnap me! If you don't put me down, I'll sue you!"
All she got in response was a cold snort from Antonio. Since she already thought he was a controlling jerk, why waste words?
If she wouldn't come willingly, he'd just take her by force.
She was his wife, and she could forget about being with any other guy for the rest of her life!
Meanwhile, Alex saw this and the smile vanished from his face. He instinctively wanted to step in and stop it.
But then he thought, even if he rushed in now, it would only make things messier. Better to come up with a plan to rescue Sarah later.
Seeing Brady about to charge forward, Alex quickly grabbed him and said, "Antonio's out of control. Can't be stopped. Take Ethan, leave the city. I'll handle Sarah!"
Brady had also seen Antonio's crazy behavior. As he watched Sarah being taken away, a sudden thought hit him: Ethan had mentioned going to the restroom earlier and hadn't come back yet.
Brady said, "Ethan hasn't returned. He might be in trouble."
Alex looked around and realized it too. A dark look flashed in his eyes. "Don't worry, Ethan's probably hiding somewhere to avoid Antonio."
He glanced around and continued, "It's almost boarding time. When Ethan shows up, you need to leave fast."
"No," Brady said firmly. "Sarah's in trouble now. I can't leave. I have to stay and protect her!"
Just now, Brady felt that heart-wrenching pain from five years ago all over again. He couldn't let Sarah be bullied by Antonio again!
Seeing Brady's determined look, Alex knew he couldn't convince him to leave.
With a hint of resignation, they were just one step away from a smooth getaway.
But who could've guessed Antonio would show up out of nowhere and wreck their plan?
Now, not only could no one leave, but the situation had also gotten way worse.
Meanwhile, Ethan was hiding in the shadows, watching in horror as Antonio shoved Sarah into the car. Despite his inner rage, Ethan didn't dare step in.
At that moment, Ethan's young face was full of anger that didn't match his age. His big eyes narrowed dangerously, and he clenched his small fists.
'How dare he treat Sarah like this, it's too messed up! I have to stay and take down Antonio to get back at him for Sarah!' Ethan swore.
