Chapter 609 I Was Willing

She spoke sincerely, "Thank you and your husband for looking after me yesterday. I wish you both all the happiness."

Isabella looked into her eyes. Her eyes were lively, and it was hard to tell if they were genuine.

But after what happened last night, Isabella couldn't even force a smile now, her eyes filled with hostility and caution.

She forced a smile and replied without emotion, "Thank you."
Sarah also noticed her obvious change but didn't know what to say to change this subtle relationship.

Or rather, she couldn't change it.

It's a fact that Benjamin looked like Antonio, and if Isabella knew this, even if she were more generous, she probably wouldn't be indifferent.

It's clear that Isabella loved Benjamin a lot, so she must see herself as an enemy.

This was normal.

But Sarah was more aware that she and Benjamin should keep their distance.

With that in mind, Sarah politely nodded, "You two go ahead and enjoy your meal. I'll quickly pop to the restroom."

Throughout, she avoided too much contact with Benjamin.

It wasn't until her figure disappeared that Benjamin withdrew his gaze.

Sarah truly treated him as if he were invisible!

Isabella keenly felt the chill in his demeanor, undoubtedly because of Sarah. In such a short time, she was already able to influence Benjamin's emotions!

"Benjamin," Isabella forced a smile, "You go ahead, I'll take the things she gave and put them back in the room."

Benjamin glanced at the bag in her hand.

An engagement gift!

He coldly strode away with his long legs, heading to the restaurant without a word.

Isabella watched him disappear, then turned and casually placed the handbag on the front desk before heading towards the restroom.

She looked at Sarah, washed her hands in the mirror, and observed her.

Sarah was indeed very attractive. It's not something she deliberately shows off, but a unique charm that emanates from her bones, as if purity and sensuality were just a thought away.

It's this inexplicable aura that unsettled Benjamin.
As soon as Sarah looked up and saw Isabella in the mirror staring straight at her, she paused and asked, "Is there something, Ms. Moore?"

"I think you know what it is," Isabella didn't want to waste time with small talk, her face expressionless. "I thought Ms. Miller was a smart person, but you've disappointed me a lot. So I'll straight up that you and Benjamin have crossed the line."

Sarah hesitated for a moment, then looked somewhat melancholic. She didn't intend to get so close to Benjamin, really.

Being confronted by his fiancée at this moment, Sarah felt not only helpless but also a kind of indescribable embarrassment.

Sarah sighed, "Ms. Moore, rest assured, Mr. Harrington and I are just ordinary business partners. You don't need to worry about anything happening between us."

"Is that so!" Isabella remained unmoved, directly expressing her thoughts, "Then, as Benjamin's fiancée, can I ask Ms. Miller to keep your distance from my fiancé!"

Her tone was not exactly polite, almost implying a defense of her territory.

Sarah couldn't directly say that it was because Benjamin looked too much like Antonio. But saying such a thing would likely cause more trouble.

Feeling a bit sad, Sarah's fingers on the sink turned white. If only Antonio were still here, none of this would have happened.

She forced a smile and then replied, "I'm sorry if you misunderstood, Ms. Moore. Rest assured, I will keep my distance from your fiancé in the future."

"I hope Ms. Miller remembers what you said today," Isabella snorted.

Isabella was wearing high heels today, exuding an air of dominance over Sarah, which made her feel slightly more comfortable.

The two parted ways with different thoughts.

Isabella returned to the restaurant on her own, not caring whether Sarah ate or where she went.

At the table, Benjamin's coat hung on the chair.

He was at the nearby food area, his black shirt exuding a restrained aura, and his every move exuded nobility like an unattainable prince.

Unattainable, yet he was her fiancé.

Isabella's heart raced a bit as she looked at the wine glass in front of her. She couldn't wait any longer. She had to have Benjamin, even if it meant using any means!

When Benjamin returned after getting his food, he casually glanced around. Then, after sitting down for a while, he couldn't help but ask in a cool tone, "Where's Sarah? Still not back from the restroom?"

Isabella almost couldn't contain her expression.

It's Sarah again!

Shouldn't he have asked about her first?

Isabella forced a smile and replied, "When I came back, I saw Ms. Miller had already gone upstairs. She ordered food to her room; maybe she didn't want to eat with us."

After hearing this, Benjamin's displeasure reached its peak. He unbuttoned his collar, picked up the wine on the table, and drank it all in one go.

His voice, soaked in alcohol, was icy, "Let's eat."

As for whether Sarah eats or not, it's none of his business!

Isabella's hand on her lap trembled uncontrollably. She took a sip of water in front of her, suppressing the nervousness and excitement in her heart.

Benjamin really finished that drink.

She had just spiked it!

"Sure, you should eat more," Isabella answered.

She glanced at the empty wine glass, feeling a mix of guilt and excitement as her heart raced faster and faster.

But more was anticipation.

If things went smoothly today, her relationship with Benjamin would deepen even more!

By then, no one would be able to separate them!

After finishing their meal, they returned to their rooms to arrange today's inspection documents.
But Benjamin had felt a burning sensation in his heart for a while.

After splashing his face with cold water, that feeling not only didn't subside, but it felt like it had been fueled with a bucket of oil!

He frowned and unbuttoned two more buttons on his shirt. Then he gulped a large glass of water from the coffee table.

"Benjamin!" Isabella said lightly.

Isabella appeared behind him, now in a slip-dress. She looked shy as she approached, but she mustered the courage to wrap her arms around his neck.

"Stay with me tonight," Isabella said, her voice dripping with seduction.
Benjamin raised an eyebrow, having a rough idea of what was happening to his body. And now, with the fragrance in his arms and the growing desire, it was inevitable that the flames of passion would rise higher.

He stood still, then whispered, "Isabella, do you know what you're doing?"

His wild tone sent shivers down Isabella's spine, making her already flushed cheeks even redder!

She pressed closer to Benjamin, whispering, "I know, but I'm willing."
