Chapter 495 Something Happened to Mr. Valencia

Brian was somewhat worried. Antonio couldn't have discovered that Mommy had left... Brian glanced at the time, estimating that the plane should have landed. He immediately called Sarah. But the phone rang for a long time without anyone answering. Brian was puzzled and turned to call the captain.
"Hello, this is Brian. Has the plane landed?"
The captain was on Brian's side and naturally knew who he was.
"Mr. Brian, we have landed and have taken Mr. Miller to the hospital. Everything went smoothly, you don't need to worry."
Only then did Brian breathe a sigh of relief. He hadn't slept well all night and only relaxed when he heard the good news.
"Good to know everything went smoothly. What about my mommy? Is she resting or doing something? I called her but she didn't answer."
The captain was taken aback after hearing this, "Ms. Miller didn't board the plane; didn’t you know?”
“What?!"
Brian was instantly drenched in a cold sweat, "My mommy didn't board the plane? If she didn't get on, why did you take off?"
Hearing Brian's urgent voice, the captain hurriedly explained.
"Mr. Brian, it was your father... Mr. Valencia who ordered us. He said Ms. Miller had something to take care of and wouldn't go for the time being. We were to safely take Mr. Miller to the hospital and report to him at any time."
The captain swallowed, his voice tinged with panic, "Mr. Valencia is your father, so I didn't ask any further. Mr. Brian, didn't you know about this?"
Brian slapped his forehead, feeling a bit helpless, but more so, deep concern. He still couldn't hide it...
"It's none of your business anymore. Remember, from now on, no matter who gives you orders, you have to call me. Don't listen to anyone else but me."
The captain didn't dare to ask anymore, "Alright, Mr. Brian, I understand."
Brian hung up the phone and hurriedly checked Sarah's location. But Sarah's phone had all signals cut off, so he couldn't find any trace at all. Brian had no choice but to contact Antonio. Without asking, he knew Antonio found out that he was helping Mommy behind his back. There was no need to hide anything at this point.
However, Antonio didn't answer the phone either and even turned it off after a while. His location had long been guarded against, so there was no way to find him. Brian was a bit anxious, Antonio obviously wanted to hide Mommy, making it impossible for him to find her. Now even he had disappeared!
Brian was afraid that this would cause problems if it continued, so he had no choice but to go to the hospital first. The only other person Sarah could worry about was Mr. Jerrett, who was the only connection Brian knew.
Harper, Ethan, and Ryan were still asleep. Brian left a note telling them he had business at the company and didn't mention what was happening at home to avoid worrying them. After getting everything ready, Brian immediately rushed to the hospital.
But as soon as he arrived at the hospital, he saw James! James had just gotten out of the ambulance. Seeing Brian, he was taken aback.
"Brian? What are you doing here?"
"That's what I should be asking you!"
Brian's eyebrows furrowed, anger seeping through.
James was taken aback; he almost thought he was facing a mini version of Antonio!
"Where's Antonio?!" Brian roared, his small body like a volcano about to erupt, burning everything to ashes.
James swallowed, hurriedly saying, "Brian, something happened to Mr. Valencia."
"What happened?" Brian was taken aback, "What happened?"
"Yesterday... after Mr. Valencia came back from the airport, I don't know what happened. This morning, I received a call saying that Mr. Valencia had been drinking all night and suddenly fainted, so he was taken to the hospital."
Brian frowned; he had been drinking all night! Was Antonio an idiot? Didn't he know he had a stomach condition? Drinking like this, it would be strange if he didn't have a stomach bleed!
Brian had no choice but to wait outside the emergency room with James for Antonio. As Brian had thought, Antonio indeed had a stomach bleed. Antonio had just finished treatment, and Brian had no choice but to suppress his anxious heart and wait for him to wake up to ask what had happened.
Brian sat by the hospital bed, looking at the tightly closed eyes of Antonio, feeling very complicated emotions. He had too many questions in his mind, but Antonio remained unconscious, and Mommy was nowhere to be found. For a time, he could only suppress his anxiety and quietly watch over Antonio.
It wasn't until noon that Antonio woke up slowly.
"You finally woke up." Brian sighed in relief.
Antonio's stomach perforation this time was very serious. The doctor not only performed emergency surgery but also issued a critical condition notice. If he wasn't sent to the hospital in time, he might have left the world before Brady.
Antonio tried to prop up his body, but the pain made him groan and he lay back down. After a moment, the memories of last night flooded back like a tide.
After being framed by Serene, Antonio knew he shouldn't drink anymore. But... he did such a beastly thing to Sarah! He knew that once he took this step, it would be irreversible. He was afraid and in pain, and could only numb himself with alcohol.
Never before had Antonio hated himself so much for being so powerless...
Brian pursed his lips, looking at Antonio's state, and felt very sympathetic. Although he wasn't clear why Mommy wanted to divorce Dad, he knew that Dad must have done something excessive to make Mommy make this decision. Brian would always stand on Sarah's side.
So even now, knowing that Antonio was pitiful, he wouldn't show a shred of pity.
"You're in the hospital; you drank yourself into a stomach bleed yesterday."
Antonio slowly turned his head to look at Brian in front of him. He knew that the fact that Sarah hadn't boarded the plane had been exposed.
"Brian, have you been taking care of me all along?"
"That's not important." Brian furrowed his brows, resisting the urge to look at Antonio's pale face.
"I'm asking you, why didn't my mommy board the plane?"
Antonio looked down, suppressing the sadness in his eyes, "Your mommy said that going abroad would take a long time, and she would be separated from me for a long time. She couldn't bear it, so she decided not to go for now..."
Antonio's voice was flat, and he too didn't dare to meet Brian's eyes directly.
Brian frowned deeply, growling anxiously, "How is that possible? Mommy is going to divorce you; how could she suddenly not bear to leave you?"
Hearing the word "divorce", Antonio felt as if his heart was being cut with a knife, and he was in unbearable pain.
"So... you already knew..."
