Chapter 51 Don't Worry, None of Us Are Going to Hell
Sarah saw Antonio's bloodshot eyes and knew he was about to totally lose it.
Her heart pounded, and she took the chance to kick him hard.
Antonio grunted in pain and fell to the side, his pretty face twisted in agony. Sarah quickly shoved him away and got up from the couch.
What the heck was Antonio trying to pull, being so rough?
Was he seriously still trying to force her now?
Just as Sarah was about to bolt, Antonio grabbed her again.
"Sarah, your tricks are so played out."
Sarah tried to yank her hand back. "So what? As long as they work on a beast like you, let go!"
Antonio snorted, his handsome face still showing obvious pain, but he refused to let go, gritting his teeth. "Fine, you keep calling me a beast, so today I'll show you just how beastly I can be!"
Seeing this, Sarah freaked out. Antonio was truly nuts!
In a moment of desperation, she opened her mouth and bit down hard on Antonio's hand.
She bit so hard that even Antonio, in pain, instinctively let go.
Sarah quickly took the chance to shake him off and ran in the opposite direction.
But the next second, Antonio moved even faster!
With that, Sarah's collar was torn open by Antonio's blood-stained hand, revealing a large expanse of skin, along with the fiery red phoenix tattoo on her shoulder.
Sarah was shocked and desperately tried to pull her clothes up to cover her exposed skin.
But Antonio didn't give her the chance.
He grabbed her shoulder, roughly dragged her back, and with a sweep of his hand, cleared the desk, pressing Sarah down onto it.
Antonio couldn't hold back anymore, trapping her between him and the desk.
Her torn shirt and terrified expression made his eyes burn red.
And that eye-catching tattoo on her shoulder, against Sarah's skin, looked even more vivid, driving him wild.
Antonio's meticulously groomed hair had long since become a mess.
Due to the pain in his hand, cold sweat began to form on his forehead, trickling down his chiseled features, making him look fiercely attractive.
The tearing of two buttons on his collar exposed a solid, rising chest.
Antonio grabbed Sarah's flailing hands, pinning them on either side of her head, forcefully saying, "Stop struggling, Sarah. Since you're back, I won't let you escape! If you obediently come home with me now, maybe I'll let you off the hook and not hold your mistakes against you."
"What mistakes? You're really good at slandering people! I'm warning you, if you dare touch me, I'll fight you to the end!" Sarah struggled continuously, knowing Antonio was serious.
Once, she had been so into Antonio's charming looks, but now she hated his beastly nature just as much!
And what did he mean by not holding her mistakes against her?
She had fought to protect her child, stayed away from Antonio, and tried to save the innocent Brady. Was that wrong?
But Antonio's strength was surprisingly immense, and Sarah's efforts to break free seemed useless under his strong grip.
"Still so stubborn? Fine, I'll wait." Antonio's eyes flashed with intense emotion.
After speaking, he leaned down and bit hard on Sarah's collarbone.
"Bastard, get off me!" Sarah screamed, feeling sharp pain on her collarbone, sensing the danger approaching.
Antonio lifted his head to look at her. "Sarah, this is your punishment for faking your death and disappearing on me."
After speaking, he leaned down again.
This time, he bit down on the tattoo on her shoulder.
"This is payback for switching faces and acting like a stranger to me!"
Sarah's hands were pinned down, unable to break free, so she kept pushing him away, glaring at Antonio with accusing eyes.
Her eyes reflected the light, but deep within the light was a stronger resistance and disgust.
Antonio was totally triggered by her glare, speaking without holding back, "Sarah, quit acting all reserved. Didn't you love it before?"
Sarah's whole body shook violently, her face going pale, making it hard for her to breathe.
Man, Antonio, the guy she once loved, knew exactly how to hit her where it hurt!
"Why so quiet? Did I hit the nail on the head? Then just shut up, right."
Sarah's face was pale, her eyes wide with gritted teeth. "You!"
She closed her eyes tightly. "If I had known you were like this, I would never have married you!"
Antonio's eyes narrowed sharply, his whole body radiating danger. 'Fine. Regretting marrying me. So that's why you betrayed me five years ago.' he mused.
He leaned in closer, his eyes blazing, reflecting Sarah's pale face. "Sarah, shape up. This is your final shot. Own up now, and I might let bygones be bygones..."
"No way!" Sarah was trembling with anger, her eyes filling with tears.
How dare he say such things?
Forgive her?
What a joke!
What did she need his forgiveness for?
"You seem to have a selective memory. You were the one in the wrong! Antonio, you're despicable! Aren't you scared of karma? She screamed, feeling utterly exhausted.
These words completely enraged Antonio. He freed one hand and grabbed Sarah's neck tightly. "Do you know what you're saying? Even if I go to hell, I'll take you with me! You'll never escape from me, do you understand?" Antonio's grip tightened.
The feeling of suffocation overwhelmed her, and Sarah frantically clawed at the hand on her neck, screaming hysterically, but no one came to save her.
Maybe her violent struggle brought back a shred of Antonio's sanity.
The hand gripping her neck suddenly loosened, but the flames in Antonio's eyes didn't die down at all.
He laughed lowly, with a chilling wickedness, leaning close to Sarah's ear. "Don't worry, we won't go to hell because you must live, live by my side, and atone for your sins for the rest of your life!"
Sarah's face, flushed from anger and suffocation, now had a thin layer of redness.
Her collarbone and shoulder bore deep red bite marks, and she gasped for breath, her chest heaving violently.
Seeing her like this, Antonio's anger surged through his mind.
He buried his head in her neck, his warm breath on Sarah's skin, reaching out to continue tearing her clothes.
In her panic, Sarah reached out with one hand to fumble around the desk.
She actually touched a hard object.
Without thinking, she grabbed it and smashed it against the back of Antonio's head!
Instantly, she heard Antonio's painful grunt.
Sarah felt Antonio's body pause, his grip loosening, and she quickly pushed him away.
She hurriedly jumped off the desk, but as she turned, she was shocked by the scene before her.
Antonio was lying on the desk, blood gushing from his temple, pooling on the desk and dripping onto the carpet.
She then noticed that what she had grabbed was a small bronze statue, and the sharp corner of its base was stained with Antonio's blood.
Sarah threw the statue away, her hands trembling as she picked up her fallen bag, clutching it tightly to her chest, wanting to escape quickly.
But as she reached the door, she hesitated.
Why wasn't he moving?
Sarah couldn't help but feel scared.
She had hit him quite hard just now; could he really be dead?
No!
He wouldn't die from just a bit of blood loss.
He was just trying to exploit her sympathy; she couldn't fall for it!
No matter what, securing the surveillance tape was the most important thing!
"Antonio, you forced me to do this. I'm warning you, don't pester me again!"
With that, Sarah ran without looking back.
