Chapter 650 Brian Appears!
Sarah did not notice anything unusual about Brain and went straight out the door, completely unaware that Brian was following her.
Brian, of course, was not trust her to go alone.
Benjamin had used some method to deceive Sarah again, but it was unknown that what he intended to do after deceiving her. However, it was absolutely unacceptable for Sarah to go alone without any help.
So, as Sarah went out the door, he followed behind.
Taking advantage of the moment when Sarah was driving, he had already run ahead through the small path in the greenbelt.
Fortunately, after Sarah left the community, she encountered a traffic light. Brian managed to hail a taxi just in time to follow her. He firmly instructed, "Sir, please follow that car closely!"
The driver glanced at him suspiciously through the rearview mirror.
'Is this kid planning to run away from home?'
He hesitated for a moment and then advised, "Buddy, did you have a fight with your family? Even if your parents said something harsh, their intentions are good..."
Before he could finish, Brian directly handed over a few bills.
"Just do as I say, I have an urgent matter."
The driver was momentarily stunned and then, after a while, said blankly, "Alright, let's go!"
Sarah walked into the room without realizing that her son had followed her to the hospital. Then she bought some fruit and went upstairs.
She stood at the door for a moment before raising her hand to knock twice.
Inside, Benjamin heard the sound, quickly adjusted his position, cleared his throat, and then spoke, "Come in."
When Sarah entered, she did not close the door completely but left it slightly ajar. She walked over to the bed and put down the fruit. "Mr. Harrington, I hope you'll be well soon."
Though her words were formal, they pleased the listener greatly.
Benjamin couldn't suppress the smile and even tried to struggle to get up, but accidentally moved his injured shoulder, letting out a muffled groan before recovering after a while.
Sarah frowned at the sight, extending her hand but then retracting it.
She said helplessly, "Mr. Harrington, since you're injured, it's better not to move ."
Benjamin gave her a reassuring look and pointed to the chair beside him, saying, "Have a seat. Did I disturb your rest by calling you over so late?"
Though he said this, the joy on his face was obvious, showing no sign of feeling like he was disturbing her.
Just as Sarah was about to speak, there was a sudden noise behind her.
The door was forced open and Brian stormed in angrily, coldly rebuking, "Mr. Harrington, you know it's late! What other schemes do you have by calling my mommy here?"
Sarah and Benjamin were both startled, especially Sarah, who found it incredible that Brian had followed her without her noticing at all.
Looking at Brian's familiar little face, although he was filled with fury and called him "Mr. Harrington", Benjamin found it odd but naturally assumed the child was Ethan.
He wasn't angry; instead, he smiled and greeted him. "Why did you come along with your mommy? Come, have a seat."
"I came to see what exactly you plan to do to my mommy."
Brian's eyes were filled with hostility as he walked over to sit beside Sarah. He then skillfully took out a tablet from his bag.
"Since I'm here, Mr. Harrington, let's settle all the previous accounts as well."
With that, he operated the tablet swiftly. His movements were so fast that Benjamin was momentarily taken aback.
Sarah didn't know what Brian intended to do, but she understood that he was here to settle score with Benjamin.
She looked helpless. "Brian, mommy is just here to visit a patient."
Brian, however, snorted, "Mommy, leave it to me."
Even though Benjamin was indeed injured and lying in bed, the things he had done before couldn't just be forgotten. He was the cause of the issues with the Valencia family and the Jerrett Group.
Brian always believed that the way of courtesy was mutual.
It was time to give the Harrington Group a little "gift".
Sarah sighed, shrugged her shoulders, and gave Benjamin a helpless look.
She knew Brian's temperament well. Since he had prepared today, he wouldn't stop until he had done what he had planned. It would be best to see what he had in mind.
After a while, Brian raised the tablet and said sternly, "The general public believes that the Harrington Group has always mantained integrity and honesty, but it turns out you have your own operational failures. The Crystal Haven Valley project, the previous manager used substandard materials, and they were already in use!"
Although the manager was eventually fired and the substandard materials were replaced, once such a matter was exposed, no one would buy houses that might pose a risk.
There were several other issues, all similar negative failures.
These were all things he had found out overnight.
Since Benjamin had used the Valencia family's past mistakes to tarnish their reputation, it wasn't excessive for Brain to use the same tactics.
Brian had originally planned to release this evidence tomorrow, but since Sarah had come to see Benjamin overnight, he had no choice but to present it to him first to intimidate him.
Benjamin looked at the contents on the tablet in surprise. Those matters were actually projects from the Harrington Group headquarters, which Harold had been responsible for.
After careful reading, he found the details thorough and the evidence conclusive.
Harold was always meticulous and cautious, rarely making mistakes that could be discovered, yet this child, only a few years old, had managed to do it.
"How did you find this out?"
