Chapter 982 Marry Someone Casually

Antonio barely glanced at the document before handing it over to Isabella.

"He left something for you. Take a look."

It wasn't really surprising. The Harrington Group was rightfully his, and as for Isabella... Harold had only left her a villa and a small sum of money.

Not even any shares.

But Isabella was still quite surprised.

"Harold... Harold actually left me such a big villa."

The lawyer glanced at the two of them and couldn't help but remind them, "Mr. Harrington did leave Ms. Moore a villa, but there are conditions. To inherit this property, you must be married at the time of the transfer."

"Married?"

If he was going to give it to her, why add such a condition?

Isabella didn't consider herself someone who expected something for nothing. She had worked hard for the Harrington Group for many years, and a villa was well-deserved. Since Harold had given it to her, she was definitely going to take it.

But marriage...

Where was she supposed to find someone to marry?

Antonio saw her put down the will and could tell Isabella was having second thoughts. He said in a low voice, "What, are you planning to repay his kindness by refusing his gift?"

"It's not that..." Isabella glanced at the will. "You saw it too. I can't take it."

"Even with the condition, the villa is rightfully yours. You've worked for him for so long, and this is the least he could do. So why not take it?"

Antonio picked up the will and glanced at it, then casually said, "It's just marriage. How hard can it be?"

Isabella stared at him, a bit taken aback.

"What?"

Was it really that easy?

Antonio glanced at the lawyer standing nearby, not caring if he overheard. "These days, people sign prenuptial agreements and get married all the time. They break up and divorce shortly after. In this era of fast-food marriages, it's pretty normal, isn't it?"

Isabella understood. Antonio suggested that she find someone to sign a prenuptial agreement, get married, and then divorce after acquiring the villa.

The lawyer remained silent, standing by like an invisible man.

Antonio signed the document and, without any further interest in staying, gave her a meaningful look before leaving.

Isabella stood there, unmoving, a thought suddenly popping into her head.

Marriage...

Would that person be willing?

But Antonio's suggestion was just a casual one. He didn't want to meddle too much in Isabella's affairs.

For him and his wife, the most important thing now was to fight the lawsuit against the Morrison Family and get their child back as soon as possible.

Seeing Una's unstable mental state, who knew what she might do to the child?

They had the paternity test in hand, which gave them a strong case. So Antonio went home and immediately started meeting with the lawyer to prepare for the lawsuit.

The lawyer was confident.

Sarah, listening to the lawyer's assured tone, felt much more at ease. "How soon can we go to court?"

The lawyer packed up his things and looked up. "I asked a friend at the court. He said there aren't many cases right now, so it should be soon."

Just as Antonio and Sarah were getting excited, they received a call that made their faces change dramatically—

"Mr. Valencia, we just got word that Una was in a car accident and is hospitalized. She can't appear in court right now, and they've filed for a postponement."

"What?" Sarah stood up in shock. "How could she have a car accident right now?"

Wasn't this a bit too coincidental?

The lawyer, knowing they had been waiting for this day for a long time, could only tell the truth. "Una is in the Morrison Family's private hospital. Outsiders can't visit, so whether it's true or not... it's hard to say."

However, the court would only consider the medical report.

If the report were genuine, they would agree to the postponement.

Antonio's face was equally grim.

Sarah was stunned for a while.

"Then... can we find a way to get Eden back first?"

Before Antonio could speak, the lawyer shook his head.

"Probably not. Along with the postponement request, Una also applied for judicial protection. She claimed in court that someone was trying to harm her daughter..."

So the Morrison Family had everything covered.

Sarah took a deep breath. "She really is pulling out all the stops!"

She couldn't act rashly now, or it would become a blemish on her record when they went to court.

However, she was extremely anxious and restless all day, and eventually drove secretly to the Morrison Family's place.

Sitting in her car, looking at the villa surrounded by fences, the bitterness in her heart became uncontrollable.

Eden was right inside...

But even seeing her was a luxury.

Sarah stared unblinkingly, her mind filled with images of her daughter's sweet, innocent smile. The more she thought about it, the redder her eyes became, the heat of emotion sweeping over her.

Her vision blurred with tears, and she suddenly saw a servant pushing a stroller out.

"Eden..."

Sarah's breath caught, and she quickly wiped away her tears. The scene at the villa entrance came into focus.

The two servants from last time were pushing the stroller, talking to the guards at the gate, and then walked out.

Sarah held her breath and quietly followed them in her car, watching as they headed to a nearby park, likely taking Eden out for some fresh air.

The two servants seemed approachable. Maybe she could talk to them?

Una, trying to deceive everyone, would definitely stay in the hospital and not wander around. If she were careful, she shouldn't be discovered...

Sarah nervously swallowed her dry throat and got out of the car.

The two servants were chatting casually, their conversation drifting to Nia.

"Thankfully, Mrs. Una Morrison isn't home lately... Ms. Nia Morrison seems to understand a bit more now. Such a cute child, I don't know how Mrs. Una Morrison can bear to scold her."

"Yeah."

The other servant sighed heavily.

She bent down to play with Eden in the stroller. "Poor Ms. Morrison... If only Mrs. Valencia were here, Ms. Morrison loves Mrs. Valencia, doesn't she?"

Hearing this, Sarah couldn't help but interrupt.

"Hello..."

The two servants turned in surprise.

"Mrs. Valencia?"

"It's me."

Sarah smiled at them, her gaze involuntarily falling on Eden. She asked nervously, "Are you taking Nia for a walk?"

The two servants exchanged a helpless glance and nodded, but didn't speak.

They actually had a good impression on Sarah, but Una hated everyone from the Valencia Family. They didn't dare get too close to Sarah, or they'd be in big trouble if found out.

Who knew what their feud was about!

"Mrs. Valencia... Is there something you need?"
