Chapter 86 It Would Be Great If Both Kids Were His

In the villa, Lisa was pacing like a cat on a hot tin roof. Hearing a noise, she darted out to greet them, only to see Antonio had brought two more folks with him.

Harper's smug grin was like a slap in the face!

Lisa's charming smile vanished in a heartbeat, replaced by a look of concern. "Antonio, why'd you bring them back? Don't you know Philip..."

Antonio's face twisted in annoyance as he cut her off, "You can leave. Ryan stays. No need to babysit him. Get out; no room for you in my villa."."

Lisa's heart skipped a beat!

She was freaking out inside. What did he mean by saying she didn't need to take care of Ryan anymore?

On the outside, she quickly put on a hurt expression. "Antonio, are you really gonna separate me and Ryan? I messed up this time by not checking with you first, but I had to listen to Philip. Ryan is my son and he's young and fragile. He needs me!"

Sarah was sick to her stomach seeing Lisa's fake act.

Ryan was a sore spot for her. She was fed up with it and didn't want Harper's pure heart to get messed up, so she grabbed Harper's hand and headed upstairs.

Before going up, she caught Antonio's icy words. "Son? Do you really want me to spell it out? Don't you know how Ryan came to be?"

Hearing this, a weird look flashed in Sarah's eyes. She suddenly remembered what Philip had said yesterday, making her even more suspicious.

She didn't stop, dragging Harper back to the room.

Lisa was floored by Antonio's words!

She stood there, looking like she'd seen a ghost, her mouth open but no words coming out.

Antonio had never been this harsh with her before. He used to cave whenever Ryan was mentioned, which was why she thought Ryan was her ace in the hole.

But this time, what the heck was going on?

Antonio didn't even glance at Lisa's tear-streaked face. He said coldly, "You know damn well. Know your place and get out."

This time, Lisa completely lost it, rushing forward and begging desperately. "Antonio, please don't separate me and Ryan. I really can't live without him!"

If she lost Ryan as her trump card, she was toast!

Antonio's patience had hit rock bottom. He had the maids toss Lisa out.

"I know I was wrong, I..." Before Lisa could finish, she was already thrown out of the villa. Then the door slammed shut, leaving her outside.

Standing in the shadows, Lisa's twisted face blended with the night, her eyes full of bitterness and rage!

She gritted her teeth and muttered, "It's all that damn Sarah's fault! I won't let this slide!"

Now that Philip was back, she had the ammo to go toe-to-toe with Sarah!

That night, Ryan crashed with Antonio, while Harper bunked in her old room with Sarah.

Sarah went to the bathroom, leaving Harper alone on the big bed, her chin resting on her teddy bear, pouting, her innocent little face full of hurt. "Antonio's busy. I want him to tuck me in too."

Hearing the water running in the bathroom, Harper hesitated. After mulling it over, she finally hopped off the bed and ran out.

When Sarah came out of the shower, she found the room empty, her beautiful eyes filled with confusion.

It was so late, where had Harper gone instead of sleeping?

She didn't even bother drying her hair and ran out to look for Harper. After searching around and not finding her, a thought suddenly hit her, and she sighed helplessly.

She approached Antonio's room and saw light seeping through the crack under the door. She carefully pushed it open a bit and peeked inside. Antonio was sitting upright at the head of the bed, with Harper and Ryan peacefully lying on either side of him.

Antonio was in his loungewear, holding a book, his expression gentle as he told the kids a bedtime story.

He spoke patiently, his tone soft. At this moment, he had completely shed his usual cold and stern image, looking like a doting dad.

Harper on the bed was listening intently. She gazed at Antonio's chiseled profile, her big eyes shining, and a slight smile on her lips.

Sarah, standing outside the door, felt a whirlwind of emotions. Her clear, beautiful eyes flickered. After watching for a while, she ultimately chose not to go in and left quietly.

After finishing the story, Antonio looked at the kids beside him. They were gazing at him with bright eyes, looking adorable and well-behaved, which melted Antonio's heart, a gentle smile appearing on his lips.

He patted their heads. Putting aside the adult drama, he genuinely liked them.

A thought popped into his mind, a deep color flashing in his eyes, and even that smile carried a hint of subtle sadness.

If only both kids were his. Sadly, they weren't.
