Chapter 229 Antonio, you can't do this here...

"What does this have to do with Asa? He just gave me something, there's no need to break it!"

Sarah's chest heaved up and down, her anger causing her shoulders to tremble.

"I already said Serene's foot is actually injured! Didn't you believe me?! Besides, whether or not you have anything with Asa, you know it deep down!"

After Antonio finished speaking, he glared at Sarah, feeling a deep pain.

Sarah looked exhausted, a few teardrops clinging to her eyelashes. "Asa... Asa... How do you even know about Asa! You say I don't believe you, but have you ever believed me either? I said I have no relationship with him. Or are you saying that you don't actually disbelieve me, but you're just looking for an excuse to doubt yourself?"

Today, she witnessed Antonio's different attitude towards Serene compared to other women. When other women hurt their feet, he would just ignore them, unlike with Serene. Perhaps the debt of gratitude from before would forever lie between her and Antonio like a thorn.

And she still couldn't understand why Antonio had such a strong opinion about Asa. Now, thinking about it, maybe he himself didn't know why he was subconsciously searching for a reason to break up with them?

As this thought emerged in her mind, a resolute look appeared in her eyes. Antonio had seen this kind of gaze from her before. It was the look she gave every time she firmly decided to leave him, as though she wanted to sever him from her world.

"Sarah!" he shouted with a commanding voice, and his deep gaze immediately narrowed. Did she really say he was doubtful? Couldn't he see how he felt about her? Or had she simply grown tired of him and eagerly threw herself into Asa's arms? Was the time they spent together all a lie? Could a random gift from that man easily sway her heart?

Antonio angrily grabbed her wrist and pulled her back forcefully. "Doubtful? We'll see who's really doubtful!"

Sarah tried hard to break free, but her strength was no match. She could only angrily question, “Antonio, what are you trying to do?! Let go of me!”

The three children also saw him rudely trying to take Sarah away and hurriedly followed.

Harper anxiously caught up and shouted from behind, “Daddy, let go of Mommy, talk it out…"

But Antonio was already too angry to hear her words. He forcefully pulled Sarah into the room and slammed the door shut in the process, leaving the three children outside with a bang.

Ethan's heart sank. "Bad Guy! What are you going to do to Mommy? Open the door!" He was so worried that tears were about to stream down his face.

Ryan anxiously stared at the door, his shoulders shrinking out of fear. Although his intelligence told him that Antonio wouldn't do anything to Sarah, he still worried about Antonio losing control.

He didn't want to make Harper sad; her little face had turned into a dark cloud of worry.

Antonio pushed Sarah onto the bed in the room.

"You doubted me, didn't you? Let's find out once and for all, is it me or you?"

His eyes were intense as he leaned in to press against her.

Sarah felt his burning heat against her body, ready to invade. However, the closer he got, the more resistant she became.

“Let go of me, Antonio! Are you out of your mind?”

He used to be someone who respected her, but now he seemed like a madman, disregarding her feelings and attempting to claim her as his own!

Feeling a chill at her waist, Sarah kicked Antonio and then delivered a resounding slap. Trembling, she hastily straightened her disheveled clothes and glared at him.

How could he be so eager to touch her in this situation? She didn't want any of it!

Furious and ashamed, her eyes reddened.

But for Antonio, she seemed unwilling to be intimate with him because of Asa.

She struck him for Asa. Before, she avoided his touch, but now, to avoid intimacy, she slapped him.

Antonio felt the air thinning in the room, his gaze fixed on Sarah, still reeling from the slap, filled with disbelief and sadness.

After a moment, he chuckled coldly, a self-mocking look in his eyes as he glanced at Sarah. Eventually, his gaze fell, hiding the grief welling up inside, and he quietly left the room.

The door closed heavily, and Sarah couldn't help but curl up and cry softly.

The three children quickly rushed in, filled with worry.

"Mommy! What's wrong with you, are you okay..." Harper held Sarah's hand in sadness, asking with concern.

But Sarah was now so upset that she couldn't speak, so she just pulled the three children into her embrace and silently wept.

Asa had already noticed the commotion. When he saw Antonio walking away, leaving Sarah crying alone in the room, he immediately went in. Taking a silk handkerchief from his pocket, he handed it to her.

"Don't cry, you haven't done anything wrong. He's just too disrespectful. If he has any misunderstandings about me, he should come at me, not treat you like this."
