Chapter 710 Encountering an Old Flame

The two were practically glued together, and Antonio was about to lose it.

There was this tiny window in the bathroom, showing off the blue sky and fluffy clouds. But in that cramped space, it was all about the heat between them.

Sarah saw him holding back and decided to mess with him.

"So, Mr. Harrington, you wanna get it on right here?" she teased, wrapping her arms around his neck, her voice all shaky and soft in his ear.

Antonio stared at her, dying to just go for it.

"Don't mess with me," he said, trying to keep it together.

Sarah knew he wouldn't actually do anything, so she put her fingers on his chest and gently pushed him away, creating some space. She turned around and calmly washed her hands.

"Mr. Harrington, you should bounce first. If someone catches us, it won't be pretty."

She put extra emphasis on "us," like they were really involved in something scandalous.

Antonio was both amused and frustrated, but he couldn't do anything about it.

He watched her finish washing her hands, then pulled her close and said seriously, "Anyway, you can't be chatting too much with that Anthony guy, and no way are you having dinner with him, got it?"

Antonio could tell Anthony was up to no good!

Sarah smirked, "Oh."

Feeling helpless, Antonio hugged her tight again and murmured, "Sarah, what am I gonna do with you?"

Sarah didn't bother to respond.

Wasn't this whole mess his fault?

And now he was acting all hurt, thinking she'd go easy on him?

She snorted, "You should leave now!"

If someone saw them, it wouldn't look good.

Antonio didn't say anything more. He leaned down, kissed Sarah on the cheek, then opened the door and walked out.

He had just stepped out when he saw Anthony getting up from his seat.

Antonio's eyes turned icy. Thinking about how he and Sarah had been all over each other inside, he felt a bit more balanced.

He straightened up as he walked and deliberately adjusted his messy suit collar, showing off faint scratch marks and lipstick stains, sparking all kinds of thoughts.

Under his careful setup, Anthony saw those marks.

He raised an eyebrow but didn't say a word.

As they brushed past each other, it felt like a silent showdown.

Luckily, it was just a quick moment.

Antonio watched Anthony head into the bathroom opposite Sarah's, then casually went back to his seat.

Not long after, Sarah came back. Antonio immediately flashed a warm smile, but she ignored him, treating him like a total stranger.

But he didn't mind.

Sarah didn't think much of it. She felt like she'd vented her anger and there was no need to get tangled up with a "stranger."

When Anthony returned, she was already asleep under a blanket.

The two didn't talk much after that, and the rest of the flight was pretty chill.

After the plane landed, Sarah was the first to get off. As she walked, she texted Antonio: [Mr. Harrington, what now?]

Antonio watched her leave, and since they weren't far apart, he grinned and shot her the address of a hotel. Then he texted: [Grab a cab to the hotel first. I’ve already got us a room. I’ll handle the luggage and be there soon.]

From Harold's insistence on seeing him off this morning, it was clear he was keeping tabs on him.

Since Harold knew his flight, he might have someone tailing him at the airport. So, he couldn't leave with Sarah.

Sarah didn't ask why.

She opened the location, glanced at the hotel's address, and headed to the taxi area.

Antonio watched her disappear into the crowd, fighting the urge to follow her, and went to get the luggage.

Soon, he was pushing the luggage cart out.

But before he reached the exit, the cart accidentally bumped into a woman who was on the phone.

"Sorry."

The woman turned around, her words suddenly stopping.

Halfway through her apology, she looked at Antonio in shock, her light brown eyes gradually reddening, and tears began to fall, as if she was overwhelmed with joy.

"Benjamin." Her voice was filled with emotion.

Antonio looked her up and down. From her appearance, she seemed to be a mixed-race woman.

He was sure he didn't know this woman, and the most surprising thing was that she bore a slight resemblance to Sarah.

He immediately realized this was Harold's surprise for him.

Antonio found it laughable.

A flash of mockery passed through his eyes, but he pretended to be puzzled, asking, "Do you know me?"

"It's me, Margaret Scott!" Margaret excitedly grabbed his arm and said, "Have you forgotten our past? We were together for three years in college!"

She added, "But then you suddenly disappeared, like you vanished from my world. I couldn't find you. God knows how much I missed you." As she spoke, she threw herself at Antonio, crying uncontrollably.

Antonio frowned slightly and discreetly stepped aside.

"Margaret."

He murmured the name, a layer of pain in his eyes, saying, "No wonder you looked so familiar when I first saw you."

"So you really know me." Margaret seemed a bit surprised.

"But I have amnesia." Antonio shook his head with a bitter smile, explaining, "Those three years? I probably don't remember a thing. I'm here to get my memory back."

Harold had indeed put in a lot of effort as Margaret bore a slight resemblance to Sarah.

'Since he went to such lengths, wouldn't it be a waste not to play along?' Antonio thought.

It would save him the trouble of finding a true love.

Margaret didn't expect him to believe so easily. She felt a bit smug but appeared flustered. "Well, I might be able to help. If you can remember me, I'd be very happy."

Antonio watched her performance, silently sneering, "I hope so."

With that, he gave her a regretful look and prepared to leave.

"Wait!"

Was he planning to leave just like that?

Under normal circumstances, if he finally met an ex-girlfriend, wouldn't he ask about his past?

Margaret was puzzled but couldn't say it directly. The higher-ups had mentioned that Benjamin was very shrewd.

She added, "Maybe I can help. Where are you going now? Do you need me to come with you?"
