Chapter 387 Do you remember Dad's task?

"Sarah, we're at work. Focus on your job, okay?" Antonio said.

Sarah almost laughed out loud. Who wasn't focused on their job?

"I think there's a problem, can we make some changes?" Antonio handed the document to Sarah and leaned in closer.

Sarah didn't want to say much at this time and sat next to Antonio. The two of them began to modify the details of the contract.

Once they immersed themselves in their work, time flew by quickly.

When Sarah checked the time again, it was already 6:00 p.m.

It was time to leave work.

Antonio clearly noticed this too. "I'm so hungry. I remember Harper said she wanted to eat my BBQ ribs. Let's have that for dinner tonight."

Sarah moved her neck. She had been resting recently and suddenly entered a high-intensity work phase. She wasn't used to it, and her neck had become stiff.

Without hesitation, Antonio reached out to massage Sarah.

"What are you doing?" Sarah instinctively dodged.

James suddenly opened the door, followed by several high-level executives from the company. They all came to deliver the files Antonio would need the next morning.

It wasn't their intention to come at this time, but Antonio had given orders not to disturb him and his wife during their alone time in the afternoon.

Now that it was almost time to leave work, the files had to be delivered. So they had no choice but to come in.

Sarah originally wanted to push Antonio's hand away, but the employees suddenly came in, interrupting her movement.

Antonio paid no attention and continued massaging her. "What business brings you here?"

There was nothing Sarah could do. It wouldn't be appropriate to push him away in front of the whole company. Otherwise, the long-suppressed rumors of their marriage problems would spread within the company again.

James cleared his throat. "We came to deliver the files."

Antonio nodded. "Just leave them there. I'll take a look with my wife tonight."

"Understood, Mr. Valencia. Then we'll leave work first."

James originally wanted to leave right after but noticed Antonio's unusual expression.

Having been by Antonio's side for many years, he clearly understood hiss implication.

James quickly took the hint and said, "By the way, sir, your car broke down and the driver has already taken it for repairs. Tonight, you and your wife can take her car home."

Antonio nodded approvingly. "I got it. You can go home. You've worked hard today."

James replied, "Madam, you need to sign these documents together with Mr. Valencia. They are needed for tomorrow morning's meeting. Thank you. We will see each other tomorrow."

Sarah understood clearly that James had made it clear. Antonio would definitely go home with her tonight.

When they arrived at the underground parking lot, some employees were gradually leaving in their cars. They would greet Sarah and Antonio as they passed by.

"Sarah, hello."

"Rest well, I'll drive today," Antonio said as he smoothly took the car keys from Sarah's hand.

Sarah felt even more helpless, but at this point, she could only choose to compromise.

Antonio got into the car and discreetly tapped his temples with his palm.

Sitting in the backseat, Sarah observed Antonio's every move.

When he insisted on staying over yesterday, she suspected he was pretending to be ill for sympathy.

However, after a full day of work at the office today, she realized Antonio's concussion hadn't fully healed, and he still appeared uncomfortable.

Following a day of travel yesterday and a busy workday today, resting was already challenging, and driving now would pose a risk.

Sarah couldn't help but feel sorry for him. "Let me drive."

"No need, you rest well. We'll be home soon."

Antonio was worried that Sarah would send him back to his house, so he clung tightly to the steering wheel.

Sarah knew his hidden intentions too well. "Don't worry, we're going to Century Garden. I'll drive, or else forget it."

Antonio felt relieved, knowing he could continue staying over tonight.

Immediately, he obediently sat in the passenger seat and buckled his seatbelt without anyone's assistance.

Sarah sighed helplessly and remained silent throughout the drive, parking the car carefully in the garage.

"Daddy and Mommy are back from work!" Harper was the first to rush out, overjoyed to see her father returning with her mother.

Sarah went to change clothes.

In the meantime, Antonio gathered the three children together. "Darlings, do you remember what I told you this morning?"
