Chapter 696 Biting and Sucking
After a while, Sarah finally came to her senses.
Sarah hoped Benjamin would quickly find a girlfriend. As long as he didn't pester her, she felt it was none of her business what he did.But for some reason, she felt weird inside.
She didn't want to stay here any longer. She looked around and walked in a random, secluded direction.
Benjamin kept an eye on her movements out of the corner of his eye.
In that direction, there was a lounge.
Harold didn't notice anything unusual in Benjamin's gaze. After exchanging a few more pleasantries with Larry, he said, "I have an old friend over there. I'll go say hello."
Benjamin nodded. "Alright, Dad, I'll take care of things here."
"Okay."
Harold seemed very pleased with his performance. "Take this opportunity to get to know some of the headquarters' partners. The company will eventually be handed over to you."
Benjamin respectfully agreed.
After a while, Harold's figure disappeared into the crowd.
The venue was bustling with guests, each seeing the event as a chance to broaden their network. Even in the absence of formal entertainment, they engaged in lively conversations among themselves.Benjamin's eyes instantly became very indifferent.
He withdrew his hand from the woman holding it and spoke in a flat tone, "If you fancy someone, you can ask them out yourself. Do I need to teach you how?"
The model quickly stepped aside, keeping her distance from him. "Yes, I understand, Mr. Harrington."
Benjamin had made it very clear when he brought her here today and had given her enough money for it. She wouldn't dare entertain any illusions about him.
Benjamin's face was expressionless as he said, "I'll find you later."
After saying that, he adjusted his sleeve and walked away.
Sarah didn't know Benjamin had already come looking for her. She was on the terrace outside, enjoying the breeze. When she turned her head, she saw Benjamin pushing the door open and entering.
"You..."
Sarah hadn't thought of what to say yet, but Benjamin suddenly reached out and grabbed her wrist.
"Come with me!" he demanded.
'Why should I go with him?' she thought.
Sarah was furious and rejected, "I'm not going!"
'Wasn't he socializing outside? And what about that well-built model?' she thought.
Benjamin didn't speak immediately. Instead, he pulled her into the nearby lounge, carefully locked the door, and repeatedly confirmed it was secure before turning around.
"Sarah, I miss you," he said.As soon as he finished speaking, his kisses followed.
Sarah's mind went blank. She felt like Benjamin was like a beast, nibbling and sucking on her, leaving her no room to resist.
"Benjamin!" she shouted.
His heavy breathing was right by her ear, making her shiver.
After a while, Benjamin slowly pulled back, his eyes much darker than usual, as if a flame had ignited. "Sarah."
He raised his hand, gently wiping the corner of Sarah's mouth with his fingertip.
"Sorry, I can't control myself when I see you," he apologized.
"Are you a beast?" Sarah's face turned red as she pushed hard against his chest, but she couldn't move him. "I think you're really like a lunatic, going crazy from time to time!"
Benjamin wasn't angry. "I only go crazy for you."
His face showed a tinge of tenderness. He reached out to hug her. "That woman just now was randomly picked. Don't misunderstand.""Stop!" Sarah raised her hand, stepping back repeatedly. "Mr. Harrington, are you overthinking? I won't misunderstand whoever you're with. I have nothing to do with you!"
She had assumed that Benjamin's personality had genuinely changed. She hadn't expected that, after a brief respite, he would come looking for her again, behaving erratically and saying such inexplicable things!With a soft smile, Benjamin reached out and hugged her, pressing her down on the sofa. "Didn't you say you only love me?"
Sarah sneered, "When did I say..."
Before she could continue, under Benjamin's tender gaze, she suddenly remembered something, and all her words stopped abruptly.
Sarah couldn't help but recall the scene from a few days ago. She had indeed said something similar in front of Benjamin, but what did it have to do with him?
She had said she only loved Antonio!
'What does he mean by saying this now?' she thought.
Sarah clearly felt her heart beating more and more intensely in the quiet room.
Benjamin knew she had realized it but still couldn't say it outright.
He reached out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, his heart full yet aching. "I'm sorry, Sarah, for making you go through this alone all this time."
Sarah's lips moved, not knowing what to say.
All the changes in Benjamin recently seemed to be pointing things in one direction.
A voice inside her seemed to be telling her that maybe, just maybe, things were as she imagined. The Benjamin in front of her might really be Antonio.
Benjamin understood all her confusion but couldn't explain it.
He sighed, pulled her into his arms, and said, "When all this is over, I'll take you and the kids on a cruise around the world, okay?"
Benjamin's gentle voice seemed to be planning the future, each word echoing past promises.
"Then we'll leave the company behind, not worry about anything. Didn't Ethan always want to go to Country M to see Iron Man? And Harper wants to go to the amusement park. We'll visit all those places."
While listening to his voice, Sarah's nose tingled with a sudden ache.
She even forgot to push him away.
She felt more and more flustered, not understanding why this man named "Benjamin" knew so much about their family.
He even knew the kids' preferences so clearly.
She had always harbored suspicions.
However, she didn't dare pursue them, fearing they might be nothing more than her imagination and that all her hopes could end in vain.
Sarah felt a bit annoyed again. 'Why couldn't he just say it clearly? Now he is playing riddles with her. Does he think it's funny?' she thought.
