Chapter 761 He's Just a Freaking Pervert!

Carter didn't hang onto Nicholas for too long, knowing he had to mingle. She whispered in his ear, "We'll finish this conversation at home tonight. I'm gonna hit the restroom."

Even though Carter and Nicholas had been dating for a while, Nicholas always respected her boundaries and never pushed for more.

But tonight, she was ready to take that step.

Feeling good, Carter headed to the restroom to freshen up her makeup. She smiled at her glowing reflection in the mirror.

Then, the restroom door clicked shut and locked.

Carter's smile vanished as she saw a stranger approaching her in the mirror. His hands suddenly gripped her shoulders.

He spoke, "Your bones are so soft; how can Nicholas satisfy you?"

Carter started trembling.

She tried to pull away, but Harold held her tight.

"Who... who are you? Let go of me! Or I'll scream for help!"

Harold smirked, his eyes half-closed with lust. "Do you think anyone will hear you?"

Outside, the party was in full swing, the music drowning out everything.

Carter struggled hard, feeling despair creep in. She saw the look in Harold's eyes and felt disgusted and helpless.

"My boyfriend will come looking for me soon. If you don't let go, I'll accuse you of harassment. If you let me go now, I won't call the cops. I'll pretend this never happened, okay?"

She clung to a tiny hope that Harold would let her go.

Harold's lips twisted into a wicked smile as he stared at her.

Carter's eyes were red, a few strands of hair sticking to her face, tears glistening under the light. Her delicate face, flushed with fear, had a sunset-like blush on her tan skin, captivating.

Seeing her cute mouth, he wondered how sweet her screams would sound.

The fire in Harold's eyes burned hotter, his desire surging uncontrollably.

He suddenly let go of Carter's shoulders and instead grabbed her jaw, kissing her fiercely on her luscious red lips.

Carter's eyes widened in shock. She hadn't expected Harold to be so bold, doing such a beastly thing in the restroom!

She struggled and fought back hard!

"You... Let go...!"

Harold didn't let go; instead, he pulled her closer.

As he moved against her, Carter's face turned pale, her heart sinking into despair.

She heard the sound of his belt buckle being undone, echoing like a death knell.

"Accept it. Now that you've met me, you can only be mine!"

His words felt like a curse. She watched as Harold pulled off his belt and cruelly tied her hands.

Then, he pressed her against the wall.

When it was over, he leaned close to Carter, who was covered in marks, and let out a disgusting sigh, his voice like a demon from hell. "I didn't have sex with you here because I wanted our first time to be in our home."

Carter stared at him blankly, her eyes empty.

When Nicholas found her, she was curled up behind the restroom door, the demonic voice still echoing in her ears, "I'll come back for you, my darling. Don't think about running away; you won't want to know the consequences."

How did it get to this point?

She had never met Harold before, let alone done anything to provoke him!

At that moment, Carter didn't know that some people were just born evil.

Three days later, Carter, who had been hiding in her room, finally felt a bit better. With Nicholas's encouragement, she decided to go out for a walk.

"The weather's getting cooler. Put on a scarf," Nicholas said kindly, helping her tie it, just covering the fading marks on her neck.

Even though Nicholas knew what had happened that day, he hadn't asked a single question. Instead, he was even more caring, staying by her side, afraid she might do something drastic.

"Nicholas, thank you," Carter's voice was hoarse from not speaking for so long.

Nicholas's eyes showed a hint of pain as he rubbed her head. "Between you and me, there's no need to say thank you."

Carter looked at him and smiled for the first time in days.

In the blink of an eye, her smile vanished, replaced by endless fear. She shouted, "Nicholas, call the police! He's here! That devil is here."

Her voice was broken, but Nicholas understood.

It was Harold.

He hadn't asked, but that didn't mean he wasn't furious!

Nicholas clenched his fists, turning to see Harold in a suit, followed by several bodyguards, walking straight towards them.

Carter shook her head desperately. "Nicholas, let's go! Call the police!"

Harold watched the scene with interest, ignoring Nicholas's anger, letting out a sinister smile. "Haven't seen me in a few days, did you miss me? I certainly missed you."

"Bastard!" Nicholas couldn't take it anymore, his eyes bloodshot as he charged forward.

Harold's bodyguards were well-trained, and it didn't take long for them to knock him to the ground.

Harold still smiled, ghostly and cold.

He pinched Carter's face and kissed her, then called a bodyguard to watch her.

Then he walked step by step to Nicholas, his shiny leather shoes stepping on his face, saying, "Are you her boyfriend? From now on, she can only be mine."

Harold's eyes were vicious as he signaled to the bodyguard.

Carter struggled with all her might, to no avail, only able to watch as Nicholas was dragged into a box.

"Please, please let him go!"

She didn't know what else to do, her eyes filled with broken despair. "Let him go! If you let him go, I won't pursue anything. I'll do whatever you want!"

"Whatever I want?" Harold leaned close to her ear. "It's too late."

After beating Nicholas, the bodyguards dragged him to an empty road outside.

"Carter, I told you, don't think about running away or defying me, or I'll make everyone around you end up like this!"

Carter couldn't stop trembling. She realized the man in front of her was a complete, all-powerful madman!

She was terrified, her heart shattered.

Then Harold took her home, and they soon got married.

It wasn't until she held the marriage certificate in her hand that she learned his name was Harold.
