Chapter 570 He's Smitten
Originally, he wanted to see Sarah lose her composure, but the other party turned the tables on him.
"I'll take a look at the others," Benjamin said sternly as he let go of Isabella Moore's hand without hesitation and turned around to leave.
Isabella Moore was already used to this and awkwardly shrugged at Sarah, helplessly saying, "Sorry, Benjamin is always like this. He's not really angry, so please don't mind."
The tone was intimate and natural as if they were a family with Benjamin.
Sarah nodded understandingly, "Of course, I can tell that Mr. Harrington treats you differently. He really loves you. Congratulations to both of you."
Sarah felt upset, which was inexplicable.
A faint blush rose on Isabella Moore's face.
"Our relationship is relatively stable."
Throughout today, seeing Sarah's attitude, Isabella Moore actually felt much more at ease. It seemed that Miss Miller didn't have any intentions towards Benjamin.
Isabella let out a sigh. "Let's go and take a look as well. I really like these fabrics. I hope we can collaborate, Miss Miller."
Sarah smiled, "Okay."
The two of them walked towards Benjamin's direction, discussing the main elements of the fabrics and similar clothing brands in the market, chatting happily along the way.
At that moment, Bob Morrison suddenly appeared at the reception room door, holding a thermos in his hand.
During the early stages of Sarah's pregnancy, she had trouble sleeping, and at Bob's strong recommendation, she started taking supplements that needed to be taken at regular times each day.
"Miss Miller!"
Bob Morrison's voice was loud, catching the attention of several people nearby.
Sarah and Isabella Moore had just approached Benjamin when they heard a loud shout, causing them to turn around.
"What's happening?"
Bob Morrison was completely focused on her, not noticing the expressions of the others. His sunny and lively smile was tinged with a hint of delight. "It's time for you to take your supplement. Did you forget again unless I remind you?"
His words were intimate, completely different from how an ordinary assistant would speak to their boss.
Benjamin's hand paused, and his eyes shifted to the man in front of him. He had forgotten that on the first night they met at the dinner, this young assistant had intimately supported her as they walked.
Sarah raised her hand to cover her forehead, looking slightly different from her usual composure.
She quickly took the thermos from Bob Morrison's hand. "Thank you for always reminding me, or I would have definitely forgotten."
She then drank it all in one gulp.
After finishing, she naturally handed the cup back.
Bob Morrison took it in passing, then handed her a piece of paper.
Sarah smiled at him, lightly wiped her mouth, and was about to go and throw the trash away when Bob Morrison took it from her. "I'll take care of it."
"Thank you."
The back and forth between the two of them didn't actually appear too intimate, but it exuded a sense of understanding that outsiders couldn't intrude upon. It was evident that these two people had been interacting like this for a long time.
The people from Jerretts were used to it a long time ago.
Only one person's face turned dark.
Benjamin's originally calm gaze, upon seeing the actions of these two, instantly became frosty. Even the fabric he was touching, which was originally soft and smooth, suddenly turned rough and uncomfortable, greatly displeasing him.
As a result, his actions became increasingly heavy.
Until a "crack" sound.
The fabric tore in half.
No one else noticed, but Isabella Moore had been focused on Benjamin the whole time, so she heard the sound of the fabric tearing, although it was very soft.
"Benjamin. What happened?"
Benjamin quickly resumed his enigmatic expression, casually throwing the torn fabric aside. His voice revealed no emotions. "I wanted to test the durability of this fabric."
Isabella Moore nodded and asked, "So, what do you think?"
Benjamin sneered inexplicably, his tone seemingly indifferent, "Resilience is indeed present, but what does it matter? It still breaks with a little force."
Isabella Moore was completely confused, so was he satisfied or dissatisfied with the fabric?
And, what Benjamin said, was it really fabric?
Sarah and Bob Morrison were completely unaware of this little incident and said a few more words. Sarah then dismissed Bob Morrison and returned to her normal expression, walking back to Benjamin and Isabella Moore.
"Mr. Harrington, how was the inspection?"
Benjamin didn't look at her; he just snorted and glanced at the person beside him.
For this inspection, Harrington Group had brought its high-level executives, who, after carefully reviewing the project plan and fabric samples, were all satisfied and believed the cooperation was feasible.
After a quiet discussion, Daniel Copperfield walked over to Benjamin and quietly informed him of everyone's feedback.
Benjamin remained silent, his gaze thoughtful for a moment.
Seeing this, Sarah wore a cautious smile on her face and said, "Mr. Harrington, I wonder if you have any other concerns. You can raise any questions, and I will answer them one by one."
Benjamin raised his gaze and stared at her for a while before replying, "No. Our company's other people do not have any objections either. Since that's the case, let's sign the contract today."
Sarah had prepared herself to be confronted when Benjamin suddenly became unhappy again. Unexpectedly, he directly gave a positive answer, causing her to blink in surprise before saying, "Thank you, Mr. Harrington. Well then, let's have a pleasant cooperation."
This was already the second time Sarah had said these words to him.
Benjamin's expression remained neutral as he smirked slightly, not saying anything.
Sarah immediately turned to James and ordered, "Go prepare the contract."
Afraid that even one second's delay would cause Benjamin to change his decision.
James quickly returned with the contract, obviously already prepared, and placed it on the nearby conference table.
Benjamin raised an eyebrow and said, "Miss Miller is indeed well-prepared."
Sarah did not think there was anything wrong with that and looked at him candidly, "Thank you, Mr. Harrington, for giving us this opportunity."
The two of them finished signing the contract and shook hands in front of both parties' employees once again, saying, "A pleasant cooperation."
It wasn't until this moment that she finally got a load off her mind.
The applause thundered.
She turned and exchanged a glance with her colleagues, showing a genuine smile, with a sense of relaxation that she hadn't experienced in a long time.
Benjamin had never seen her smile so sincerely before. At that moment, he felt as if the woman in front of him was radiating light all over her body, and that smile was particularly dazzling.
