Chapter 446 You called me husband?!

A mere few meters felt like miles to Brady, his body slick with sweat. "I appreciate your assistance, sir," he managed to stammer out, "My name is Serene. Might I inquire as to your name?"

"Brady Miller," he responded.

Meanwhile, Antonio was leading Sarah and their four children back to the familiar confines of the Valencia family home. Despite their prolonged absence, the house remained immaculate, a testament to Antonio's diligence in maintaining its upkeep. He ensured a cleaner visited daily, preserving the home exactly as it had been when Sarah last resided there.

Harper, the youngest, made a beeline for her room, collapsing onto her bed with a contented sigh. "Oh, my little bed, how I've missed you," she murmured. Despite the luxury of her brother's villa, Harper found an inexplicable comfort in this familiar space.

Ryan, the eldest, clung to his toys, his eyes sparkling with joy at being back in the place he held most dear. Antonio, observing this, suggested a change. "It's time to separate the children's rooms. Harper is a girl, after all, and it's not appropriate for her to continue sharing a room with her brothers."

Brian's cheeks flushed at this, as it had been his idea for them to share a room initially. "Yes, let's separate them," he agreed, clearing his throat awkwardly. Sarah, amused by this, instructed the children to tidy their rooms while she took a moment to rest.

Harper, now alone in her room, turned to Brian. "Big brother, you haven't had a chance to properly explore our home. Would you like to take a tour?" Brian, who had spent most of his time secluded in his room, was eager to explore the mansion he'd heard so much about.

Ryan, the most familiar with the house, led Brian on a tour, with Harper providing commentary on the villa's various amenities. Ethan chimed in occasionally, making Brian feel as though he was seeing the place for the first time. By the end of the tour, Brian was thoroughly impressed with the mansion, recognizing that it had been built according to Sarah's tastes.

Later, the four children lounged in the backyard, their energy spent. Brian, however, was deep in thought. Now that their mother had returned and reconciled with Antonio, he wondered if he, as the eldest son, should present Antonio with a gift. After all, it was customary to prepare a dowry for their mother.

Inside the house, Sarah was encouraging Antonio to rest. Despite her physical recovery, she still felt a lingering unease. Antonio, looking utterly drained, readily agreed to her suggestion. "Then sleep with me," he requested, pulling her down onto the bed with him. "I'll sleep better with you here."

Sarah admonished him lightly, "Get some good rest, Antonio Valencia."

His response was a sleepy murmur, a satisfied smile playing on his lips as he drifted off to sleep.

When he awoke, the world outside was shrouded in darkness. "I'll go check on the kids. Stay awake for dinner," Sarah instructed, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. His response was a mumbled agreement, still half-asleep. Sarah rose from the bed, ready to prepare their evening meal.

"Brian, would you fetch your father for dinner?" She requested, once the meal was prepared. After their meal, she sent Brian to get Antonio.

Brian approached the bedroom door, observing Antonio's closed eyes. He pursed his lips, calling out, "It's time for dinner."

Despite his calls, Antonio remained oblivious. After two unsuccessful attempts, Brian had no choice but to climb onto the bed, gently patting Antonio's face. "Wake up, it's time to eat."

At this, Antonio's eyes fluttered open, meeting Brian's gaze. He promptly lifted his son, saying, "Alright, let's go have dinner."

To Antonio, holding his son felt natural. Brian, however, felt a slight unease stirring within him.

Sarah, observing quietly from a distance, found an idea taking shape in her mind...

Following dinner, Antonio retreated to the bathroom for a shower for a shower.

In his absence, Sarah summoned Brian and Ethan into the room.

"Mommy, is there something you want to tell us?" Brian inquired.

"Now that your father and I are together, can you both accept it?" Sarah responded.

Brian and Ethan exchanged glances, both nodding in unison.

"Then, shouldn't you start calling him Dad?" Sarah continued.

The two boys fell silent, not immediately agreeing.

"Mommy doesn't want to force anything. It's up to both of you to decide. You can take your time with this. But at least let him know that you have accepted him, or else he will feel very sad."

Ethan lowered his gaze, stealing a quick glance at Brian before averting his eyes, murmuring, "I'm okay with it."

Brian understood his younger brother's sentiments. After all they had endured, he no longer harbored any reservations.

Moreover, their acceptance would undoubtedly bring joy to their mother, and that was reason enough.

So, he nodded solemnly, saying, "I understand."

Just then, Antonio emerged from his shower, asking, "What are you guys talking about?"

Brian replied calmly, "We didn't talk about anything. It's getting late, so both of you should rest early. Good night, Mommy and Daddy."

Upon hearing Brian's words, Ethan quickly echoed, "Good night, Mommy and Daddy."

With that, the two boys exited the room together.

Antonio, however, stood frozen in place. "Sarah, what did they call me just now?"

She played along, feigning ignorance. "I didn't hear clearly. Go to sleep early, dear. I'm so tired."

Antonio paused. "Sarah, what did you call me again?"

"Dear, can we go to sleep now?"

He quickly moved onto the bed. "Call me a couple more times, let me hear it."

His large hands enveloped Sarah's body, his gaze filled with passionate desire.

She offered no resistance, instead wrapping her arms around Antonio's neck, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"If I don't call, what can you do to me?"

In that moment of ambiguity, their eyes locked.

"Whether you call or not in a moment, it's no longer up to you. Are you sure you don't want to give in now?" Antonio teased, his hand on the collar of Sarah's sleepwear.

Unconsciously, she let out a soft whisper, "Rogue..."

This single word carried countless implications.

Unable to control himself any longer, Antonio's intensity increased.

However, Sarah suddenly grabbed his wrist, her expression shifting somewhat...
