Chapter 413 Don't Even Think of Getting Rid of Her in This Lifetime!

Meanwhile, at a hotel overseas.

"Ms. Jerrett is truly amazing. I never expected that Jason would be nothing more than a bully, preying on honest people like us. His hideout was even taken down by Antonio."

Victor lazily laid on the bed, happily munching on the local grapes.

He now had a large sum of money in his hands and was living a carefree life. He regretted not doing this earlier. Otherwise, wouldn't he have already enjoyed such a heavenly life?

Serene listened to the repulsive voice on the phone, impatiently furrowing her brows. She truly couldn't understand what Victor was thinking, kidnapping the children. If it weren't for her people keeping an eye on him and seeing Antonio leading a group into the Evergreen Chess Club, he would have been captured long ago.

"Victor, your current task is to play dead. Since I didn't ask you to come back, don't act recklessly. There are people looking for you in the country, and you've already been put on the wanted list."

"Ms. Jerrett, rest assured. I will follow your instructions." Victor sneered.

Serene hastily hung up. This line had to be temporarily hidden, but it didn't really matter. He wasn't that important anyway.

"Ms. Jerrett, should we assign someone to keep an eye on him?" one of her subordinates asked.

Serene shook her head. "No need. He's just wasting his energy. Have you prepared the fake medical records as I instructed?"

"They're all done. The medical records are in our hands now, and we are awaiting for your orders."

Serene was very satisfied with this. She looked at her slender and flawless legs, her lips slowly curling up. Antonio would never be able to get rid of her just as long as her leg stayed bad forever!

Antonio received news from Sarah that she had scoured Victor's residence and immediately rushed back home.

As soon as Antonio walked in, he asked, "Sarah, did you find anything?"

Sarah shook her head. "He has completely left. Everything was almost moved out. When we arrived, it was an empty house. But we did find some hair, which Brian has collected to be tested."

"That's good."

Ever since Brian raised his suspicions, Antonio had been feeling uncertain. His son was right. If it weren't for his own organization, there would be no guarantee of total security. If Victor was an imposter, he had countless ways to manipulate the paternity test report.

"By the way, we found this at his residence." Sarah took out the packaging box from a high-end café. "I can't understand why he would go there to have coffee."

Antonio was also taken aback. Despite being impoverished and pursued, Victor still went to this cafe for coffee?

"I'll take care of this matter. Don't worry," Antonio said, patting Sarah on the shoulder.

Antonio also had to speak his mind on what was weighing heavily in his heart. "Next time something like this happens, you have to wait for me to come back. Don't expose yourself easily to danger, especially after experiencing a kidnapping. I'm really worried about you going out alone."

"Alex and Brian were there, so I was fine." Sarah smiled helplessly, but she also knew that Antonio was still worried.

Alex felt a bit unnecessary on the side. "If there's nothing else, I'll leave. When the test results come out, I'll rush over right away."

"You've worked hard today, thank you," Sarah said.

Alex said a few more words to Brian about the company and then left Century Garden.

Antonio changed into casual clothes and urged Sarah to rest, "You should rest well. Leave dinner to me."

"I'll go with you. I have to go to the hospital tomorrow. It's been a long time since I last saw Mr. Jerrett. The hospital called me." Sarah washed her hands. "I'll prepare a nutritious meal and take it to him tomorrow."

Mentioning Kevin, Antonio couldn't help but think of Serene.

Ever since they returned, Serene had disappeared.

Antonio sent her a few text messages. After all, he was partially responsible for her leg injury, so he had to show some concern.

But Antonio didn't receive any reply from Serene, and when he called, her secretary answered.

Because of this, Antonio could only keep the experts he contacted on standby.

"I'll accompany you tomorrow."

"No need, it's the weekend. Just rest at home and take care of your health." Sarah sliced some fruit, although her heart was not as relaxed as it appeared.

Kevin's condition had not improved, and Serene now faced the risk of disability...
