Chapter 662 Trying on the Wedding Dress
Benjamin had never talked to her like this before.
She wondered, 'Has he really changed?'
Benjamin, oblivious to her discomfort, said, "Why don't you tell me about the places we used to visit abroad?
"And the restaurants we frequented."
He nodded thoughtfully and added, "This is important. Maybe it'll help me remember if we go together next time."
Isabella started sweating. She and Harold had never discussed this. Even if she made something up, she couldn't think of a restaurant abroad that Benjamin would like.
They reached the parking lot. Benjamin noticed her silence and stopped, puzzled. "What's wrong? Do you really mind that I've lost my memory?"
His tone sounded hurt.
Isabella, flustered, quickly shook her head. "Benjamin, don't overthink it. I just feel that since you've forgotten, there's no need to dwell on the past. We're about to get married. Let's focus on the future."
She was genuinely scared. If he kept bringing up the past, she'd be exposed!
But Benjamin didn't seem easy to fool. Isabella felt a sense of doom and started thinking of ways to dodge the topic.
Benjamin stared at her for a moment. Then he said, "Alright, I won't bring it up again."
Isabella, sweating, finally sighed in relief and smiled. "We'll make many beautiful memories in the future."
Benjamin turned and opened the car door, his back to her. "Yes, we will."
Meanwhile, Brian arrived at the office, excited. The thought of the Harrington Group, which had hurt Sarah, facing consequences thrilled him.
Anyone who hurt Sarah had to pay!
Just as he finished his work, his assistant came in. "Mr. Miller, EleganzaCraft called. The custom-made dresses are ready. Should I pick them up?"
Brian remembered EleganzaCraft was the best private dress brand in the city. He had ordered several dresses for Sarah before returning to the country.
He loved surprising her.
Brian said, "No need, you can continue your work."
"Okay, Mr. Miller."
After the assistant left, he called Sarah.
Sarah was making cookies with the housekeeper. She wiped her hands, took out her phone, and smiled when she saw the caller ID. She answered, "Brian, why are you calling Mommy so soon?"
"Mommy, can you do me a favor?"
Sarah thought something had happened at the company. "Go ahead."
"I ordered something near Uncle's hospital. Can you pick it up for me? It's at EleganzaCraft."
"Yeah, I know that place."
Sarah knew about EleganzaCraft. "No problem, I'll head out soon."
"Thanks, Mommy. Make sure to check it out. If anything's off, we can hold them accountable."
Sarah laughed. "Alright, I got it!"
After hanging up, she took off her apron and got ready to leave. She was excited to pick up Brady today.
As Sarah grabbed her car keys and stepped out, she ran into Bob, who was just coming back.
She decided to ask for his help. "Do you have any work right now? If not, come with me to pick something up and get someone."
Bob was thrilled. "Sure, Mrs. Miller, just get in my car!"
He didn't care if he had other work. Sarah's matters always came first!
Sarah, used to his sunny smile, nodded and got into the car.
Neither of them knew what awaited them.
EleganzaCraft was located in a busy area. When Isabella arrived, the store manager and designer surrounded her, eager to please.
Benjamin sat on a nearby sofa, flipping through a magazine, indifferent.
