Sarah thanked him and walked in with Benjamin. They asked about the specifics of Asa Donat's death.
As the guard looked up the information, he sighed. "Asa Donat suddenly died three and a half months ago. He didn't make it to the hospital in time. I was on duty at the time and never expected such an outcome."
"Sudden death?"
"Yes, Ms. Miller, you can take a look. This is the video from the cell."
Sarah and Benjamin looked at the information and, when they heard this, they both looked up with disbelief in their eyes, "There's actually a video?"
The police officer didn't speak, and the video playing in front of them explained everything. In the footage, Asa Donat indeed suddenly fell ill.
His whole body convulsed as if he had a stroke. After falling to the ground, he started vomiting, and the vomit erupted from his mouth like a fountain, covering his face and body.
The footage was really graphic, and Sarah felt nauseated watching it. She struggled to hold back the churning in her stomach but wanted to see it through. However, she eventually lost control, turned around, and ran towards the door, vomiting into the nearby trash can.
Benjamin took his heavy gaze off the screen, turned his head, glanced at her, and walked out. There was a hint of impatience between his brows, but he still patted her back.
"How are you feeling?" he asked in his usual arrogant tone.
Sarah was overwhelmed by the disturbing image from earlier. She vomited for a while but couldn't bring up anything.
Instead, tears welled up due to the stimulation. She lifted her head, her eyes watery, and her eye sockets instantly turned red. Although the man in front of her didn't look well, there were hints of concern in his eyes.
Sarah's heart trembled, and she moved away slightly. "Thank you, Mr. Harrington..."
They hadn't confirmed his identity yet, so for now, he was just Benjamin, the fiancé of Isabella Moore.
Sarah reminded herself clearly that in this situation, she should not have any intimate contact with him.
However, Benjamin noticed her stepping back and felt extremely angry.
