Chapter 568 All Style and No Substance
Isabella Moore exclaimed, her eyes wide open. "Isn't this a bit inappropriate?"
They haven't even confirmed if Miss Miller and Benjamin really did something. Isabella Moore truly believed that Miss Miller wasn't that kind of person.
What if she actually did something, only to find out it was a misunderstanding? Wouldn't that be creating unnecessary enemies?
"It's not a problem." Although Harold Harrington was trying to advise her, there was an air of certainty in his tone that brooked no disagreement. "Don't you want to prevent other women from stealing Bo Shen?"
"Of course I don't..."
Also, while Harold's words were a bit extreme, it was for her own good. Although she didn't fully agree, she also didn't want to lose Benjamin. After thinking for a moment, she replied, "I'll handle it. Harold."
She should confirm first whether she got the wrong idea or not.
Harold Harrington made a sound of agreement, his voice heavy with emotion that couldn't be suppressed.
"If there's anything, feel free to discuss it with me. I can provide some advice."
"Okay, Harold."
Isabella Moore expressed her concern for Harold for a few more words, reminding him to take care of his health, and then hung up the phone.
Harold Harrington put his phone down and slammed it on the table, making a crisp sound.
With his gloved hand, he picked up a group photo beside him, and the hatred and malice on his face grew stronger.
Unable to control it any longer, he swept the tea set and teacups off the table, the breaking sound somehow calming his mood.
On Sarah's side, James had prepared all the project materials and brought his laptop over for her to review. "Miss Miller, I have organized everything. Take a look to see if there's anything else that needs to be added."
Finishing his sentence, he placed the laptop on her desk.
While Sarah took the laptop and checked, she casually mentioned, "In addition to our previous planning document, also include a detailed introduction of the fabrics."
"Okay." James nodded. "I have already included it."
Sarah made a sound of agreement. She had always trusted James' ability, and after a rough overall look, she said, "No problem. Send these materials to Harrington Group."
"Okay, Miss Miller."
James turned the laptop to his side and immediately sent the files to Harrington Group's email.
Isabella Moore had just returned from the parking lot downstairs when she received the email notification on her laptop. Absentmindedly, she opened it.
Surprisingly, it was the information sent by Jerretts Group, along with a memorandum of intent for collaboration.
Benjamin and Sarah also discussed a collaboration. Isabella Moore couldn't believe it. In just a few days, how did Miss Miller manage to persuade Benjamin? He wasn't someone who would prioritize personal interests at work.
She cleared her thoughts and walked out of the office with her laptop in hand.
Benjamin's office was just around the corner, and as Isabella Moore walked, people greeted her one by one.
When she reached the door, Isabella Moore raised her hand to knock.
"Come in."
A deep and rich voice came from inside, sending shivers down her spine.
As she opened the door, Isabella Moore put on a smile. "Benjamin, did I disturb you?"
"No, what's the matter?" Benjamin glanced at her.
"The Jerretts Group sent over a detailed project proposal." Isabella Moore walked over and swiftly opened her laptop. "There's also a letter of intent for collaboration, which includes all the product descriptions integrated into it."
Her slender fingers tapped a few times on the laptop keyboard and then turned it around, placing it in front of Benjamin.
Benjamin put down what he was doing and brought the laptop closer. He looked at it attentively, and the diamond on his pen sparkled under the light.
"Benjamin..." Isabella Moore paid attention to his expression and casually asked, pretending to be relaxed, "When did you discuss this collaboration with them?"
"Yesterday." Benjamin didn't look up, his tone casual without any emotion. "I happened to meet Miss Miller, and she talked about this project. I found it feasible, so I asked her to send over the materials."
This straightforward approach eased Isabella Moore's heart. "I just looked at it, and it does seem good."
Benjamin's slender fingers glided over the laptop.
His deep eyes carried admiration. "I take back what I said before."
"Hmm?" Isabella Moore didn't know which sentence he was referring to. "What do you mean?"
"I used to think Sarah was showy, that it was just luck for the Valencia family and Jerretts to have such success under her leadership."
At that moment, Benjamin's expression lacked any harshness, revealing a warmth that Isabella Moore had never seen before.
"But it turns out that it may not be the case. Sarah does have some skills."
His voice fell like musical notes, filling every corner of the office. It was melodic, like a cello, but this pleasant sound suddenly made Isabella Moore's heart frustrated.
She had never heard Benjamin praise someone before. At least, it had never been so obvious before.
Although Isabella Moore also admired Sarah, was it really because of her amazing skills that Benjamin had such a huge change? Or was it because...
