Chapter 430 Mr. Valencia, that green hat is sturdy enough
"Hurry up and finish up, the soup won't taste good when it gets cold," Brady answered and then turned and headed downstairs.
After Antonio saw him leave, he sat directly on the bed.
"Maybe you shouldn't drink it..." Sarah hesitated a little.
Antonio shook his head. "How can I not give respect to your brother? He specially made this soup for me early in the morning."
…
After quickly tidying up, Antonio and Sarah went downstairs.
The four children were already sitting at the dining table, and the dishes on the table were all prepared by the service staff.
Except for that pot of soup.
Harper looked at Antonio with concern on her face. "Daddy, is your stomach feeling better? Should we go to the hospital?"
"Yeah, Daddy, your stomach has always been a problem. It's better to treat it as soon as possible." Ryan also worried.
Ethan also glanced at him, his concern evident in his eyes, though he remained silent. Meanwhile, Brian sat in a chair and quietly ladled soup into a bowl for Antonio.
Antonio smiled. "I am fine now, already feeling better."
Lifting the bowl of soup Brian had filled, Antonio quietly let out a breath.
Even if his stomach perforated today, he had to drink this soup.
Antonio took a hearty sip.
'Huh? The taste is actually not bad!'
"How is the taste? Does it suit Mr. Valencia's palate?" Naturally, Brady could sense Antonio's thoughts.
He now possessed a deeper comprehension of his culinary prowess and acknowledged Antonio's concern. Despite preparing the soup himself, he adhered to Brian's recipe for ingredient proportions and other instructions.
Brady had strictly followed every step in the recipe, even weighing the salt before adding it.
Brian also looked at Antonio with some anticipation.
"The soup tastes good, I didn't expect you to have this skill. Thank you," he said.
Antonio truly savored the flavor of the soup. Upon sipping it, an immediate sense of nourishment enveloped his stomach, rendering him remarkably content.
After finishing the bowl, he filled another one for himself.
Sarah also let go of her worries.
Brian, who concealed his skills and fame, exchanged a glance with his uncle before silently partaking of breakfast. Interestingly, the recipe for this pot of soup had been crafted by Brian to suit Antonio's preferences.
Antonio's vital statistics—height, weight, blood type—and his daily regimen were meticulously accounted for. Employing his personally devised high-tech catering system, Brian inputted Antonio's data to concoct a recipe for a revitalizing soup.
Brian copied it overnight and handed it directly to Brady this morning, but he didn't want Antonio to find out about it.
After breakfast, Brady suggested going out for a stroll. After all, he had just returned to the country and brought back two suitcases, one of which was filled with gifts.
It was also time to go out and buy some necessary clothing and items.
Coincidentally, Sarah also wanted to buy some snacks that the children liked, so she decided to go together with him.
"I'll go with you," Antonio said.
Today happened to be his day off, and he didn't want to miss this opportunity.
"You should stay home and take care of the children."
Sarah was worried about Antonio's stomach problems. He was still recovering from the concussion, and now his stomach was acting up again.
He needed to rest at home.
"But..."
"There's nothing suitable for you to do. The two of us won't buy much either. Haven't you always wanted to spend some alone time with the children? Good luck!"
Sarah made a gesture of encouragement.
Seeing this, Antonio had no choice but to give up. Besides, he could sense that Brady didn't want him to go shopping with them.
"Well, be careful on the way. If you buy too many things, give me a call, and I'll come pick you up with the children."
"Okay, you four, listen to Daddy at home. No messing around, no fighting."
"Got it, Mommy. Don't worry, I'll take care of things at home."
The kids and Antonio saw Sarah and Brady off.
"Brian is really sensible," Brady said while driving.
Sarah nodded. "Yes, he's the most like Antonio among the three children. Sometimes, I even feel like I'm dealing with two Antonios."
When she mentioned this, she had a smile on her face.
Brady glanced at her, also sensing her happiness, so he didn't say much.
The two arrived at the mall and headed straight to the men's clothing section.
Sarah had been attentively selecting clothes for Brady. Little did she know that their intimate moments had already been secretly captured on camera.
Serene looked at the photos her private detective had sent, and a wave of excitement surged in her heart!
She had never seen Brady before, let alone knowing what kind of relationship he had with Sarah.
But from the photos, it was not difficult to see that these two people were holding arms and doing activities together like buying clothes and drinking coffee. It was not hard to guess their relationship.
"Well, Sarah, I thought your divorce was fake, but I didn't expect you to already have a new partner. You never cease to disappoint me."
Serene felt a deep sense of satisfaction. She knew that hiring a private detective to follow Sarah would yield unexpected information.
"Your days as adulterers are numbered." Serene chuckled as she dialed the detective's number.
"Boss, have you received the photos? Are you satisfied?"
The private detective was feeling a sense of accomplishment. After trailing Sarah for an extended period, he had finally unearthed some valuable information. She was often seen either with a group of children or with Antonio. It had taken him quite some time to make any earnings.
"Not bad. I've already transferred the money to you, and I have one more thing for you to do," Serene said.
"Boss, just tell me what to do. I will do my best to accomplish it."
Serene leaned against the bedside with a smile in the corner of her eyes. "It's not a big deal. Just anonymously send the photos you took to Antonio's phone."
Serene snorted, doubting Antonio would still comply with Sarah after seeing these photos.
Weren't they deliberately prolonging the divorce process? She would give them a reason to get on with it.
By then, Sarah would be left with nothing, and everything, including Antonio and the Valencia family, would be hers.
It would not be in vain that she had been plotting for so long. Finally, her wish was about to come true.
She wouldn't need to pretend to need amputation anymore. With the clever use of this lifesaving favor, she would finally be with Antonio.
"No problem, Boss. I assure you that I will handle this matter beautifully. Just wait for my good news," the private detective said.
After hanging up, the private detective gathered all the photos he took and added a caption: [Mr. Valencia, your antlers are sturdy enough~]
