Chapter 865 She Finally Came Out
"Sorry, Sarah." Antonio noticed her worry, cupped her small face in his hands, and said earnestly, "No matter what, I should have discussed it with you in advance instead of hiding it from you and making you sad for so long. It's all my fault."
Sarah snorted lightly, "It's good that you know."
In fact, she had already completely calmed down over the past few days.
Previously, she had only pretended to make such a fuss to teach Antonio a lesson. Now that her goal was achieved, there was no need to continue with her previous attitude.
Antonio kissed her, pulled Sarah into his arms, and pressed his forehead against hers, saying, "Since we have got through this unscathed. I believe we will be very happy in the future. All the bad things are behind us."
Sarah snuggled into his chest and said muffledly, "When you have some free time in the next couple of days, thank Isabella."
They should be grateful that Isabella wasn't a bad person at heart.
The more Sarah thought about it, the angrier she got. She said furiously, "Is Harold really a devil? How could someone treat their own son like that? He's worse than a beast!"
"Don't get yourself worked up." Antonio was much calmer now.
After all, he had never considered Harold his father. No matter how beastly or vicious Harold was, it had nothing to do with him.
"Don't worry, he will never have a chance to get out. I will make sure he lives in pain in prison until he dies."
Sarah looked up at the face she had loved for many years. Now that he was safe and healthy, Harold's last plan was meaningless, and nothing would happen in the future.
With everything settled, her heart was finally filled with a sense of stable happiness. She hugged his waist and said, "We've come a long way to get here. From now on, we must be honest with each other. If there's a next time, I really won't forgive you, understand, Antonio?"
"Mm, it won't happen again." Antonio had already learned his lesson and wouldn't make the same mistake again.
He couldn't afford the risk of losing her. "Sarah, I love you."
Sarah lay on his chest, listening to his strong and steady heartbeat. The sense of happiness filled her entire heart.
She was deeply moved, "I know, I love you too."
Antonio was thrilled by her response.
Unable to contain himself, he leaned down.
He cupped the back of Sarah's head with one hand and kissed her tender red lips.
While the couple was immersed in their happy moment, outside an unremarkable small villa in the eastern suburbs, Lisa, dressed plainly, got out of a black car.
She looked at the house in front of her, nervously twisting the hem of her clothes. Her once beautiful big eyes were now full of anxiety and helplessness.
Maybe it was because she had been in prison for too long.
Suddenly coming out, she felt lost and a bit scared.
Lisa stood at the door for a few minutes, finally biting her lip and walking inside.
She knew that the reason she could come out today was all thanks to Sharon. Sharon had pleaded with an old lover, a big shot, to get her out of that dark place.
At this moment, it was that big shot who wanted to see her.
With an extremely uneasy heart, Lisa knocked on the villa door.
The door opened, and a man in a suit came out, "Hello, Ms. Randall. I am Leandro McCall's assistant. Mr. McCall is waiting for you inside. Please."
She glanced at the man, who had an ordinary appearance and wore half-rimmed glasses on his nose.
Lisa felt that his gaze carried a hint of malice.
She shrank her shoulders, "Okay."
The door in front of her was open, and the dim lighting inside was like a lurking beast with its mouth open, waiting for its prey to walk in.
Lisa hadn't walked far inside when she saw the middle-aged man sitting on the sofa. Leandro's sparse hair on top of his head reflected a shine, and his forehead skin was yellow and dull with shallow wrinkles.
She mustered up the courage to walk forward, her hands tightly clasped together. "Mr. McCall, thank you for getting me out."
Her soft and sweet voice seemed to hit a nerve in Leandro's heart.
He suddenly sat up straight from the back of the chair, touched his chin, and smiled, "Since I got you out, you are now mine. Lift your head."
This sentence clearly had a deeper meaning.
Lisa's heart trembled, and the fear she had been suppressing was magnified. She didn't move.
Leandro looked at the delicate face in front of him, despite its haggardness, and squinted his eyes.
He suddenly reached out, grabbed her slender arm, and pulled her into his arms, "If I had known you were this beautiful, I wouldn't have needed your mother to beg me. I would have gotten you out myself. So, shouldn't you thank me properly?"
Leandro's breath sprayed on her face, making Lisa feel nauseous.
She pushed him away with a pale face, "Mr. McCall, please don't do this! I... I am very grateful that you saved me, but you are like an elder to me. We can't do this, please!"
"Elder?" Leandro sneered, "I quite like that as a kink."
He forcefully pulled Lisa into his arms and touched her delicate face, "Come on, babe."
He hadn't known before that Sharon had such a beautiful daughter. He had thought that since he had already slept with Sharon, getting Lisa out wouldn't be a big deal.
Who would have thought that Lisa would be so much to his liking?
Seeing her terrified face with tears in her eyes, Leandro felt a surge of desire and leaned in to kiss her.
"Ah! Mr. McCall, please don't do this!" Lisa tried to escape, but Leandro's big hand held her tightly. As his unpleasant smell got closer, she could only turn her head to avoid his kiss.
Leandro's mouth barely brushed her chin. "Bitch!"
He lost his patience and slapped Lisa hard, "Do you really think you're someone important?"
"I went out of my way to ask Mr. Britton to get you out. I didn't spare any effort! If you don't behave, I'll have him throw you back in prison. If you ruin my mood, even your mother kneeling in front of me won't help!"
The contempt and disdain in his tone made Lisa forget the pain on her face and tremble all over.
Leandro could get her out, and he could also throw her back in prison!
She had finally gotten out and didn't want to go back to that miserable life!
"Mr. McCall." Lisa suppressed her nausea and mustered the courage to look up. "Please don't hold it against me. I know I was wrong."
