Chapter 683 Guarding Against Benjamin
Benjamin knew that Sarah didn't want to be close to him at all right now.
Sarah glanced at Benjamin's hand that was about to touch her stomach and said, "Benjamin, have you had enough of this? Please stay away from me!"
Benjamin frowned, trying to suppress his pain, and said softly, "Sarah, just let me be good to you, okay?"
"I don't need it!" Sarah was really about to break down.
"Mr. Harrington! I don't want to be blunt. I'm begging you! Even if you want to find a mistress, don't come to me, okay? I'm already married! I have kids! I'm pregnant right now!"
She just wanted Benjamin to stay away from her and not disturb her life anymore.
Benjamin instinctively reached out his hand, but withdrew it when she avoided him, anxiously explaining, "Sarah, trust me! There's really nothing between Isabella and me, and I've never liked her. I never want you as a mistress!"
"Enough!" Sarah interrupted him, "I don't want to hear this! These are your own issues. They have nothing to do with me. Do you understand?"
She was exhausted because of him, both physically and mentally.
She said, "Even if you are sincere, I won't accept it. I will only love my husband! Forever! So now, whatever you do is just a bother to me!"
She had already said everything once, but Benjamin just wouldn't listen!
Hearing that, Benjamin was both ecstatic and heartbroken. Her words drove him crazy.
He knew that Sarah loved him!
But right now, he couldn't respond to her love!
Besides, with his current identity, if he continued to pester her, Sarah might really ignore him.
No one wanted to tell her his true identity more than he did!
Benjamin was conflicted inside, and the impulse was almost unbearable!
From the moment he regained his memory until now, in just two days, he had bared too much!
Benjamin also wanted to disregard everything, to tell Sarah the truth, to kiss her, hug her, and completely have her!
His eyes were red with excitement, and he blurted out, "I'm sorry, Sarah. I know these past few months have been hard for you, it's all my fault, but actually, I am..."
But before he could finish, a sudden voice interrupted him, "What are you doing?"
Benjamin turned his head and saw Bob walking quickly towards them.
Sarah, on the other hand, breathed a sigh of relief.
She had an engagement party tonight, so she had arranged for Bob to come directly from the company to the hospital to pick her up. He arrived just in time.
Otherwise, she didn't know how long Benjamin would have pestered her!
She forcefully shook off the hand holding her and walked over to Bob.
She looked at Benjamin with nothing but indifference in her eyes.
"I don't care about your issues, nor do I want to hear them. My assistant is here, I got to go."
Benjamin swallowed back the words he hadn't finished saying!
Thus, he regained some rationality.
'No, I couldn't act rashly,' he told himself.
Right now, everyone around them posed a certain level of danger, even this unknown Bob!
And Bob didn't like him either.
He was a man too, so he naturally knew what Benjamin's look meant, clearly still coveting Sarah!
Bob spoke discontentedly, "Ms. Miller, he..."
Sarah pulled him and said, "Let's go quickly. He's got issues."
"Huh?"
"Let's go!"
"Oh, okay. Take it easy."
Bob followed her steps with suspicion, but still didn't forget to give Benjamin a fierce glare.
To others, his look seemed like a declaration of war.
Benjamin understood it the same way.
But he couldn't prove his identity in front of this Bob, so he could only watch Sarah leave with Bob.
Sarah walked out of the hospital without looking back, and felt the air was much fresher outside.
Bob looked at her, his eyes darting around.
"Ms. Miller, don't you think that Benjamin is super annoying?"
Sarah glanced at him and could only sigh deeply, "So what? No matter what, we are collaborating with his company. I can't just call the police, right?"
"I have an idea!" Bob immediately said, "How about I pretend to be your boyfriend? As long as he knows you have a boyfriend, he definitely won't bother you anymore!"
To deal with a special enemy, you needed a special method!
Besides, Bob was quite looking forward to this method.
Sarah, however, gave him a look and said, "Don't mess around. I'm already annoyed enough today. I don't want to create more trouble for myself."
She didn't want to end up with bigger losses because of such a small matter.
However, Bob thought this method was very feasible and secretly noted it down.
That night, after the engagement party, he took it upon himself to order 999 red roses, and specifically instructed over the phone, "Remember, when delivering the flowers, make sure to circle around the gate of the opposite villa so everyone inside can see."
Bob had learned about Benjamin moving in that afternoon so he decided to show that in front of Benjamin.
The people at the flower shop were puzzled by his request, but they always complied with customer demands, especially big clients like him.
Before long, the flowers were delivered.
A giant bouquet that required two people to carry, was beautifully and romantically packaged, and they really circled around the gate twice.
Benjamin returned to the villa, idly leaning against the windowsill, watching the commotion across the street, holding a glass of wine.
He inadvertently saw the flowers below.
His position was directly above, giving him a clear view.
In the night, the two people delivering the flowers were not very noticeable, but the words highlighted in white roses in the middle were glaringly bright.
[Love you, Sarah.]
Love... Sarah!
Benjamin thought he was seeing things. He put the wine glass on the table and looked again carefully. It was real!
He knew this must be the work of Bob, whom he saw at the hospital today!
'That Bob, the way he looked at Sarah was off!' he thought.
Benjamin almost lost his mind and rushed downstairs, he was about to explode with anger!
He rushed downstairs and urgently rang the doorbell on the iron gate of the opposite yard.
"Mr. Harrington?" A security guard appeared out of nowhere, cautiously calling him, as if waiting for him.
Benjamin turned his head with a grim face. "What?"
The security guard blocked him, apologetically smiling, "You can't go in, Ms. Miller specifically instructed that you are not allowed in her house."
While speaking, the security guard had already pushed him to the door of his own house.
And the security guard stayed there, like guarding against a wolf!
