No one could answer her.
Antonio's face darkened, the oppressive weight filling the room.
After a long silence, he spoke in a low voice, "Keep investigating. If she's not in this city, maybe the person who took Eden has already left, or maybe... they're from our own country!"
This statement reignited their hope.
"You're right!" Sarah said, following his lead. "Now that we have a direction, we'll find her sooner or later... We just need to check the records of Asians who left the country with a baby during this time!"
"Yes, ma'am."
Antonio rubbed her head gently. "I want results by the end of the day."
Aaron nodded. "Yes, sir."
After he left, Sarah clasped her hands together in front of her chest. "Eden... please be safe."

She knew the pressure on Antonio was even greater than on herself. How could she let herself be a burden to him?
