Chapter 437 I won't let them off the hook even in death

"Someone is helping him," Antonio and Brian said in unison.

Brian took out a ticket and showed the record. "This ticket wasn't bought under his name, and the ID was fake."

After talking for a while, both of them felt a bit parched.

They stood up to grab some drinks from the fridge and bumped into each other unexpectedly.

"Since when did you start liking this drink, too?" Antonio smiled.

Brian felt a little embarrassed. "I've always liked it, and since I often stay up late, we always have some of this drink stocked at home."

"Me too." Antonio took out a bottle, twisted it open, and handed it to Brian before getting another for himself.

The two returned to the sofa and summarized the information they had found.

Brian also sent all the information to Alex.

Once everything was settled, Brian raised his drink. "A toast."

Antonio hesitated for a moment and then raised his bottle. "Cheers."

The father and son exchanged a smile, their unspoken understanding flowing seamlessly whether they were investigating or handling matters afterward, or even when sharing a drink from the same bottle. It was as if they were silently affirming their status as the most compatible partners in the world.

Brian had never before realized the extent to which he resembled his father, and for the first time, he didn't resist this sensation.

Just then, Sarah came back from the backyard.

Seeing the way father and son smiled at each other, she knew for sure that they had found Victor's location.

"Where is he now?"

"In Country T," Antonio answered. "Sarah, you wait at home. I'll go bring him back and make him apologize to you on his knees."

"I'll go too." Brian stood up.

"I can quickly pinpoint Victor's location and provide great assistance to you. Plus, I have some business there, so it's convenient for me to go."

Antonio thought for a moment. Even if he disagreed, Brian would secretly go there on his own. It would be better to travel together and look out for each other.

"Alright, I'll book the tickets now. We'll go together."

Saying that, Brian went back to his room to pack his bags.

Sarah held the hands of her husband and son. "So, you two never considered taking me with you?"

Antonio hesitated. "No, Country T is too chaotic, and the conditions are not good. I'm afraid I won't be able to take care of you."

Sarah frowned. "Why do I necessarily need you to take care of me?"

"I must personally bring him back and make him apologize to you."

Father and son gave Sarah a stern look.

"Looks like we don't have much choice but to agree."

"Alright, let's go together, the three of us," Sarah finally smiled.

The family of three quickly booked their tickets and packed their luggage.

Brady regarded the three of them with concern. "Isn't it too risky to go abroad on your own just to catch someone? If things don't go well, we can involve the police, don't you think it's risky?"

Having stayed abroad for a while, Brady naturally understood the dangers of foreign casinos. Moreover, the place was chaotic, and who knew what could happen?

"We can't call the police yet." Antonio shook his head. "There are people behind Victor. If we report it now, we might tip them off. Besides, if we don't catch the person orchestrating everything, we'll have endless troubles."

"Exactly, Uncle. It's only by secretly capturing Victor that we can find out who's behind him," Ethan added.

Brady was convinced by this father and son and realized that he couldn't dissuade them with his own power, especially since Sarah was going with them.

"Antonio, you must ensure the safety of my sister and my nephew. If anything happens to them, I won't let you off easy!" Brady warned.

Antonio curved his lips and replied, "Don't worry. Even if it costs me my life, I won't let them come to harm. They are my loved ones."

Although he was still worried, he also knew that nothing would happen to his sister and nephew.

"Daddy, Mommy, brother, please come back quickly. I'll be waiting to go to the amusement park with you." Harper tearfully hugged Sarah.

Ethan and Ryan also gathered around them, saying, "We'll be waiting for you to come back."

Antonio initially wanted to pull Brian into a hug as well, but he heard him calmly say, "Uncle, don't worry. We won't encounter any accidents. The security team I've got is even better than Valencia Inc.'s bodyguards."

Upon hearing this, Antonio felt a tightness in his chest...

After everything was ready, Sarah suddenly remembered Kevin in the hospital.

"I'm going to make a phone call." Sarah dialed the hospital in a complex mood.

"Hello, I'm Sarah Miller."

A nurse answered the phone. "Oh, Ms. Miller. Is there something I can help you with?"

Kevin was staying in a VIP room, and there were only a few nurses in charge, so they were familiar with Sarah.

"How is Mr. Jerrett doing?"

"He's still asleep. Recently, his sleep duration has been getting longer. Sometimes, he can only have one meal a day. We don't know why, and the doctors have been unable to find a reason." The nurse sighed. "If this continues, he will only be awake for two or three hours a day. We're afraid he might become brain-dead."

Sarah also felt a bit reluctant, but finding Victor abroad was more important.

"Thank you for taking care of Mr. Jerret. Please inform me immediately if anything happens."

"Of course, but Ms. Miller, when will you come? Last time Mr. Jerret woke up, he had mentioned you."

"I might not be able to come anytime soon due to some matters. I remember Ms. Jerrett was transferred to your hospital as well. How is his relationship with her now?"

Sarah thought that if Kevin could see his biological daughter, it might improve his condition.

"Coincidentally, Ms. Jerrett just arrived. Let me give her the phone."

The nurse called Serene, "Ms. Jerrett, it's Ms. Miller on the phone."

Serene raised her eyebrows slightly, but then smiled and answered the call.

"Sarah, is something wrong?"

"Well, Ms. Jerrett, I might not have much time to go to the hospital. If anything happens, please inform me promptly."

"You have your own business to attend to. I know you and Antonio are busy. Don't worry about the hospital. I will keep you updated on my father's condition. Thank you, Sarah."

Serene's voice was gentle, but her eyes didn't show any sign of a smile.

"Oh, Antonio asked me to tell you that things at the J&K Group have been relatively stable recently, so for now, he won't be coming over."

Serene sensed that something was off.
