Chapter 394 An Invitation for Madam Valencia

In the wake of the startling revelation, Sarah was rendered speechless, her silence echoing for an agonizing ten seconds. Her hands trembled, the tremors a testament to the fear that gripped her. She hastily dialed home, her breath hitching as she awaited Ryan's voice on the other end of the line.

"Hello, Sarah," Ryan's voice came through, oblivious to the turmoil that had seized his wife. "Brian took Harper and the others to the amusement park. They should be back soon."

His words hung in the air, a stark contrast to the reality of the situation.

"When did they leave?" Sarah inquired, her voice steady despite the panic coursing through her veins. "I just called him, but he didn't answer."

She put on a brave front, not wanting to alarm Ryan. Given his heart condition, the shock of Harper's abduction could land him in a precarious situation.

"They left a while ago," Ryan replied, trying to assuage her concerns. "They took Uncle Alex's car. They're probably having a good time."

Ryan was privy to some of Brian's dealings and knew that if Brian were to drive, it would be in Alex's car.

"I see," Sarah responded, her mind racing. "Stay home, okay? The weather is bad today, and I'll have the doctor come to our house. If anything happens, call me immediately. And remember, if the doctor doesn't knock on the door, don't open it for anyone."

Her mind was a whirlwind of worry. If the kidnappers discovered another child at home, would they target Ryan as well?

"I understand, Sarah. Don't worry," Ryan assured her, his voice steady despite sensing the underlying tension in Sarah's tone. He wisely refrained from prying further.

After ending the call, Sarah dialed Alex's number. Coincidentally, he was about to call her.

"Our car didn't wait for Brian. Is everything alright?" Alex asked, his voice laced with concern.

"It's nothing," Sarah lied, choosing not to disclose the kidnapping. "The kids just had a little fight with me." The more people involved, the higher the risk of the kidnappers becoming desperate.

Unable to reach Antonio, Sarah was left with no choice but to head to the casino designated by the kidnappers herself. The name of the casino, displayed in the message, caused her brows to furrow, a mix of anger and fear washing over her.

This place. Victor had just mentioned this place to her yesterday...

The connection was undeniable. The kidnapping had to be linked to Victor!

Sarah pinched her arm, a physical reminder to remain calm, and headed towards the casino.

Throughout the journey, she made several attempts to contact Antonio. She couldn't risk alerting the police. The kidnappers could be watching her every move, and any sign of police involvement could provoke them.

Sarah clung to the hope that the kidnappers had only threatened her and not Antonio. If that were the case, he could discreetly alert the police and orchestrate a rescue.

As she neared the casino, her heart pounded in her chest, threatening to leap out of her throat.

If she failed to reach Antonio before entering the casino...

What would she do then?

But no matter the risk, she was determined to ensure the children's safety, even if it meant risking her own life.

As the casino came into view, Sarah decided not to take any chances. She left a message for Antonio, urging him to call her as soon as he saw it.

The moment she finished leaving the message, her car crossed the threshold of the casino gates.

Her phone signal vanished.

Sarah realized that a signal jamming device had been installed in the casino, effectively cutting her off from the outside world.

A figure awaited her at the entrance, a grin spreading across his face as he spotted her. "Madam Valencia, welcome! What an honor!"

A chill ran down Sarah's spine as she realized that these people weren't just after her, but Antonio as well.

"If you wanted to see me, a phone call would have sufficed. Why involve the children?" Sarah retorted, struggling to maintain her composure despite the turmoil raging within her.

"I just find the children adorable. Please, Madam Valencia, this way," the captor responded, stepping aside to reveal the entrance to a small, dark room.

Meanwhile, Antonio had just concluded his meeting and switched on his phone.

Seeing Sarah's name flashing incessantly on the screen, threatening to crash his phone, Antonio's heart skipped a beat.
